This was a horrible experience. The associate at the Garden Center was untrained and didn't know how to apply the 10% discount. So, she told us to go to Customer Service. The associate at Customer Service -- a lady by the name of Quay -- was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She treated us like we were the enemy -- from the initial interaction with her, all the way through the entire checkout process. It was as if she couldn't be bothered with us because she seemingly thought that we were stupid. The entire experience was "Customer DIS-service." In August of 2024 we decided to replace the flooring in our upstairs bathrooms and we contracted Lowe's to do the work. They then sent the jobs out to their contractor to actually do the work. While taking up the old flooring in the one bathroom the crew unhinged the toilet and put it in the bathtub to replace the floor. After the floor work was completed the installer picked up the toilet to replace it but it slipped out of his hand and fell on the side of the bathtub causing a 3" gash in the tub as shown below. The worker then picked up the toilet and finished reinstalling it and finished the floor. We had a double shower curtain on the tub so he pulled it across the tub, packed up his tools and started to leave. He never said anything about the gash in the tub. Luckily we pushed the curtain back before he left and found the mark. We immediately called Lowe's and they sent out a representative to review the situation. He indicated that it would cost about $8,000 to replace the damage. When he he went back to confer he said that they work through a casualty company on all instances like this and gave us a contact number. That company was very hard to work with. We put in multiple calls to this number to get someone to help us and when they finally did they said that they would only cover about half of the cost given the age of the bathroom. Upon hearing that we contacted our lawyer to see what recourse we might have and he said that many times companies will low-ball the repairs because if they get sues the plaintiffs will have to spend enough money in legal fees that the lower amount is all they would end up with anyway so they just take the lower amount and go on. FROM OUR EXPEREINCE WE WILL NEVER STEP INTO A LOWE'S STORE OR RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANY SERVICE AGAIN. read more

In May of 2024, I purchase a John Deere riding mower from Lowes in West Chester, Ohio. At the time of purchase the saleperson stated there is a $300 rebate on the product, just go to the website, enter the info and receive a rebate. THE REBATE IS A SCAM. I entered the info as instructed, got a response back stating the purchase did not meet the qualifications for the rebate and to resubmit. Ok, I looked and it did meeting the qualifications, I resubmitted. Two weeks later, got the same notification back. They are just hoping you will go away and not have to pay the rebate. Went to the store, no help - other than to give me the Lowes customer service number. I call the number, message states to sent e-mail with all applicable information to Zendesk e-mail. Normally I would give this location 4 stars as they have what I need and I have almost never had to wait in line. Today this location only had the self serve lines available, not fun when you are buying (8) 40lbs bags of salt for my water filtration system. Keep in mind the self serve expects you to place each bag in the baggage area, it isn't designed for (8) 40lbs bags and stopped working after bag 2. Then I had to wait for about 5 minutes for someone to come and manually enter the 8 bags so that I could check out. Not cool Lowe's. read more

While the associate working in doors was very helpful, the rest of the process has been miserable. I bought a front door, a garage entry door, and a replacement screen door for my sliding glass door. The installers had to come back out 5x to fix their work on the front and garage entry doors. Today the screen door was supposed to be delivered between 10-2. I had to pay $100 for the delivery since my car is too small. As of 4 pm they are a no show. I'm done with Lowe's. Time to give Menards a try. read more

No wonder this chain is starting to close locations. The customer service is abysmal! I ordered a dishwasher and refrigerator on July 14th. The dishwasher was at the warehouse, but the refrigerator had to be ordered from the Manufacturer. I was told I would have a delivery date by no later than August 3rd. I called to check on the order today (July 25th) and the refrigerator still hasn't shipped and they can't guarantee me a delivery date! How do you schedule time off work on a "Maybe"? Plus they have changed the veterans discount to only 5% if the appliance is on "sale". This " sale" price has been in effect for over 12 months because we have been saving is for these two appliance that long an pricing them nearly every week! Tried to call customer service # I was given and never answered and even hung up on me a couple of times. I talked to the store manager Don and asked him to escalate for me. Like most major Home Improvement business chains, the biggest issue that I have with these places is in many cases it is really hard to find somebody to get assistance. I also find that even when one walks by you, rarely you will get asked if you need any help with anything. No matter how confused you look! There's definitely no exception to this location. So beyond that, I can say it is typically a clean Lowe's. In many cases you can find somebody to get help from. It's really not bad when it comes to Home Improvement stores. In fact, there is a Home Depot right around the corner from this place. I've always been more prone to Home Depot. Lately I'm leaning more towards Lowe's purely because the service at Home Depot sucks so bad. Would I go back? Absolutely. read more

WORST experience ever. Single female...saved for decade to purchase 10 new windows and 2 sliding glass doors. Total cost was $17k, purchase was made at Lowes in June 2021. Install was done in March 2022. The original installer did a horrible job. He used clear caulking, so every window and door had a yellow trim exposing the foam. They damaged the house siding in two different places. All the screens were damaged, and one window had a broken balance. They further installed the two sliders with no handles or locks, thus leaving my house unsure for months. It took a while, but Lowes paid for another installer to fix the damages. This is when I met Crume Installations. In September 2022, they fixed the majority of the problems but had to order the balance and return to fix the window. This is when things went downhill. They have been scheduled to fix the window 8 times (2023: 2/2, 4/13, 6/8, 7/14, 8/16, 10/25 and 2024: 2/21, 3/12). They either show up and re-assess the window damage, show up with no part, call off sick or mostly no call/no show. They also broke a wall clock, told me to send the receipt and they would pay for the damage. I sent the receipt ($100) and never received a check. At this point, I'd rather have a broken window and discontinue the relationship. This only results in obnoxious calls and messages from both Lowes and Crume, or me taking off more time from work only to continue the shenanigans. I was shopping for paint. After I had selected a 5 gallon and 11 single gallons (different colors) I approached the paint desk to have them mixed. Cathy was extremely rude and said "you are blocking the traffic there- you want to go ahead to the front of the desk and I'll be with you when I'm done here." Mind you there was no one else around us and her tone was disrespectful! I would have spent well over $550 in paint but I left because of her nasty attitude. I called to speak to the on duty manager Amber and was treated as though my complaint was invalid. Absolutely disgusting behavior! Worst Lowe's in the Cincinnati area! I will not return! I debated sharing this but I'm hoping someone can read this and make it right. Our fridge went completely out Monday, Aug 15. I immediately went to lowes and bought a new $2000 fridge. They set up delivery for that Friday so in the interim we bought a cooler and tons of dry ice ($136 ice alone). They came Friday and fridge had huge dent but because we had no working fridge I was fine with that one until they could schedule bringing a new one but the driver noticed the cord was completely broken so we didn't get one Friday (day 5). They said they would deliver Sunday 10-2 window (day 7). They didn't come and finally called at 5pm saying they didn't have a driver. Mind you we sat at home waiting all day as the email said they were running a little late but were coming. When they called at 5pm to say they weren't coming they then said Wednesday would be the delivery date. So we STILL don't have a fridge, all our food had to be thrown out and they will not even put us on the first route of the day on Wednesday. Im paying 2000 to be treated like nothing. No one cares and keeps blaming everyone else. We have no refrigeration, list food, spending money eating out and still have to wait. They should have set us as the first delivery for tomorrow versus making us wait 3 more days. Shame on you Lowes--and please don't say it's nothing you can do. This store's customer service is a disaster. I rented a Bissell carpet cleaning machine and it took about a half hour. There was a guy at the customer service desk actually standing there, looking around doing nothing for five minutes that I witnessed, while three other people were helping one guy. So the four of us in line were getting no service. After five minutes of witnessing this I called Mr. looking around over to me and told him I wanted to rent the machine. Someone had to put the guy to work, and clearly management was non existent. Then when I took it back they told me I hadn't cleaned it properly. I said if you want it cleaned properly you should have given me directions, which they hadn't. The woman pointed to a slip (the actual directions) and said I should have been given them upon renting the device. I told her I was not given them, to which she replied that she couldn't be responsible if I hadn't been given the directions. She wanted me to take the machine home to clean it. That's when I asked to see the manager. I don't think I will be going back to this Lowe's. read more

I've never written a Yelp review but I think today is the time to do it. I've been to this Lowe's location 2 times over the past 2 weeks (my fiancé and I are painting our cabinets during quarantine). The first time we came, it was to get supplies. I was in charge of getting the paint. I've never actually bought paint before, so I was a little out of my element. I walked up to the paint counter to get the paint tinted white. There was a woman helping a customer at the counter and I was about 6 feet away from her, keeping my social distance. A few minutes later, a man got in line behind me. Once the female customer was done, I assumed it was my turn, since I got there next. Nope. The employee completely ignored me and turned to the man behind me. He looked confused and said, "she was here first. You go ahead." Then the worker gave me literally THE nastiest look and snarled, "you're not in line." I said, "I'm not?" I was confused. Then she pointed to the blue tape on the floor. My bad. I should have looked but sometimes we miss things. "I'm sorry." I said, thinking it wasn't a big deal. She literally sighed at me and muttered something under her breath. By now I was pissed off. I've worked retail for about 6 years and I KNOW this is completely unacceptable behavior for an employee. So then, I said, "Would it make you happier if I got in line?" By now I was matching the attitude she gave me. She rolled her eyes and then said "What do you need." I explained I needed my paint tinted. She asked what color, I said the whitest white possible. She just stared at me like I was an idiot, and maybe I was because it was my first time buying paint but I really don't think her response was appropriate. She did not say anything for at least a minute. I felt so uncomfortable that I felt I needed to explain myself. "I've never bought paint before." Then she goes, "Oh. That makes sense. I won't need to tint this paint since it's already white." Like ok, thanks for making me look like an idiot. I already felt like one but she could have been much nicer about it. Today my fiancé and I went back again to get hardware for the cabinets. Thankfully I never ran into that woman. We found hardware we liked, but they had no more left on the shelf. We looked above the display and saw a big box with the item's SKU code so we knew they had more, we just couldn't reach them without a ladder. So I went to the nearest employees I could - the 2 women working in the carpet department. They both saw me approaching but didn't acknowledge me. They actually glared at me. "Hi, can one of you help me get some assistance with some hardware?" I asked. It didn't have to be one of THEM; I was just asking if they could call someone over to help us. The woman at the computer said, in the rudest voice possible, "You're going to have to wait a minute." Her tone was so off that I felt I needed to apologize... like wtf? So that's what I did. Apologized for asking a simple question. Apologized for doing something she is PAID to help with. After leaving her, I flagged down a male coworker who was just passing by and thankfully he was very kind and helpful. He is the reason I gave this review an extra star. Anyway, I know this review was long and I'm sure it's not a big deal to some people but honestly, I have never had worse customer service in my 23 years of life before coming to this store. read more

I have to said that the brand Electric stove and oven brand Samsung is really bad. I had Purchase this item in Lowes on March 14 2020. When I find out on Thanksgiving that I have a problem with my oven. I went to the same store I purchase Lowes West Chester, Ohio. They provide me the Samsung customer care Phone number. I called and they give me an appointment for December they did adjustment of temperatures. February 16 they came for the second time the technician Brent Perry said it was the Motherboard then when the Man call the company samsun to provide the diagnose the person over the phone says "Hell No!" and they diagnose my oven as none problem again. I kept calling The Samsung Company had been giving circles around the problem. I took pictures and a video of the malfunction of my oven and provided to them to Samsung representative of K Management Ticket # 5126862432 the problem They don't want to give me my money back they sent 3rd person on March 3rd 2021 and they did the same thing this time I beg the person to let me put my thermometer for 30 minutes to prove him in person what the oven do it never reach the 350 temperature and after a period of time start decreasing temperatures he did not want me to do that and he said again is no problem with my oven. This is been a nightmare and I am even looking for a Lawyer that want to take my case because I feel no one really want to help me. I dispute in Lowes a week ago after all my efforts with samsung because I still paying thru Lowes Credit Card this Electric Stove and I still waiting for there help. As a supplier for Lowe's on a national level I was ashamed to see the state of the store. You could not navigate one isle with a cart without moving stock out of the isle. 90% of the employees were playing grab ass and were no help what so ever. Then when the credit card scanner was not working right they didn't give a shit. If they were the last place on earth to get water I would rather die of dehydration. If you ever need anything delivered or installed, DON'T. In the past year, I've dealt with their contracted workers (my landlords keep using Lowe's) several times and each time is a new, fresh hell. They have not shown up on time, they haven't bothered to call beforehand, no one delivered flooring the day before install (or let us know that was supposed to happen) and they had to reschedule the whole install day of. There are numerous issues simply on the communication end of everything. No one knows what anyone is doing, to the point that we were told the flooring materials were lost and then found and would be delivered by hand...ten minutes later the installers said the materials were lost, and they were leaving the floor in the beginning stages of being ripped up. Seven hours after the job was supposed to start, the materials were finally delivered. A week later, they'll finally get around to the actual install. This is a horrible way to run a business--hire your own people or do better at managing the awful that is contracted work. Oh--and in all of that--one of the nasty workers tried inviting himself over for drinks after he was done delivering for the day. Low, low, low class. Contracted workers still represent the company in a customer's mind. Forever unimpressed with this company and the people they choose to associate with. read more

What an awful 2hour trip. The flooring crew was a mess. John was polite and helped us get what we needed, however, all the information he gave us was wrong. Then, Pam, the flooring manager came over to change our order, the price, and the installation date, and was excessively rude. I would even say mean. I have never been treated so badly as a customer. I will never go back to this Lowes again. We will drive the extra 30 minutes to go to Mason Lowes. read more

Went in at 7:30 for primer. Approached the paint desk, where there was not an employee, so I paged. An employee came up, rudely explained that "I am with another guest so you're going to have to be patient." then walked away. When he returned, he asked me what I was looking for, in which I explained I needed gray primer for my living room because we are painting red. He interrupted me, told me I needed to stop talking until the intercom ended, then I could continue. I began to explain again, he told me I needed to find a gray color for the primer before he could do anything. I found one, presented it to him a couple minutes later, and he began to argue with me on the color I chose. Telling me that I needed white primer, gray will change the color of my paint, etc. then pulled over another employee who essentially did the same thing. He interrupted both of us multiple times, was unhelpful, and I walked away spending $40 on white primer, which is something I didn't ask for. I have done research, and have personal experience, with red paint--- a color in which I have always had to use grey primer in order to reach the shade of red I like. This is the second time in a week I have been treated this way by an employee at this location. I will not be returning to this store. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer support by multiple employees. read more

I would not buy appliances from this store. Do not trust what they say they have in stock. Our washer went out and we went to this location to purchase a new one. We were told the washer and dryer we paid for were in stock and ready to take home the same day we purchased. We didn't do the free delivery because they were so far behind and couldn't guarantee it for more than a week. Showed up at the store the next day with our truck and the employee informed me the washer was not in stock. I then was told that I was informed of that the day before, which was not true because I would not have purchased it. They then couldn't tell me when the washer would actually be in stock.
