There is occasionally hair, leaves, and debris in the pool, especially after a massive regional power outage left the filters offline for two days. However, its a large pool, and it cleaned up well within a reasonable time. I never felt like I was swimming in filth, and would not recommend swimming around with your mouth open in any public pool. The main pool is large, with a 4.5' section that's perfect for my daughter, a 5-6' section for larger kids, lap lanes in between, and a deep end that angles off one corner for springboard diving. The pool is open later than I would expect, closing at 9pm most days, with underwater lighting when it starts to get dark. The lifeguards are pleasant. There were always two on duty and one or two more doing maintenance. There are mandatory "adult swim" breaks every hour, which seemed silly as all of the parents get out with their kids, but I'm told this is a common practice. The bath house was updated recently and seems nice, but there are no lockers or storage. My only gripe is the kiddy pool. It is large and shallow, barely over my ankles. As a result, it is virtually impossible to filter well and it shows. We tried it once and found bits of corn floating in the water. I got my daughter acclimated to the shallow end of the main pool and never looked back.

I came here for a party for the holidays hosted by my friends. As soon as you enter, you have a big indoor water park to the right. Straight ahead, you have a weight lifting gym thats on par with commercial gyms and to the left, a small climbing wall. A good amount of staff are here and they are friendly. Several walked by saying hello with smiles. Again, coming from MoCo, I was like "Maybe moving to Northern Virginia is worth the cost". The bathrooms are a bit outdated, but not a deal breaker. It is still relatively clean like the rest of the facilities. The kitchen to the community room that my friends rented out had a lot of appliances (4 air fryers) and a large oven for reheating. I thought that was pretty cool. Also, I saw two woks there. This threw me offguard honestly.

Normally the wait times to get into the park during High-Peak season should be expeditious, customer service, wise but it is not because it's one of the only best Waterparks in Reston/Herbdon parameters. If they hired less teenage-age-range staffs and concentrated more on the front desk security lines, customer would not have to wait too long; especially for children whom are adapted leisure customers. The downside is the season pass affordability. And it would be a great business incentive if there were private events like drowning prevention courses, and special needs custom hours or events. Viable parking allotted spacing is also limited and legal nuance.

I think this one was slightly better maintained, and it was the only one open before 4pm on weekdays (the hours can be kind of confusing). The main pool is a good size, and has some lap lanes. There's also a separate shallow kiddy pool and a separate hot tub! It's a great option if you want some sun and fresh air and to do something fun but closer to home. I'm shorely not kidding that I'd recommend this spot!

Numerous elderly people come here to read books. The lifeguards spend a lot of time correcting children for behavior that doesn't have anything to do with safety. The lifeguards are pretty militant regarding social behavior. If you have lively children who aren't "perfect" don't come here as they will be reprimanded by the "military" style lifeguards.

It's down a dirt road but im assuming, pretty new and everything is so clean. I prefer the classes over the actual gym and they have tons. They also have a pickleball court! It took me a minute to find a parking spot but again, lot of very big for the size of the facility. When checking in, there is no questioning for guests, which I liked. I didn't have to talk to anyone or fill out a form. I just got to go and do the classes. When walking thru the main level, there is a whole basketball court, pickleball court, child care, FULL locker rooms (that are huge). You go upstairs and huge weight training room and group fitness classes. I love Heidi's Barre classes. Everything is so clean, looks so nice and welcoming. The reason for 4 stars is the price of the membership. $170 seems silly.
