This contractor did such a horrible job on my bathroom, I will just say I was forced to elevate the matter to get satisfaction. Please don't stop consumers from sharing their truthful experiences as this may help the next potential consumer so they won't experience the same outcome.

Leon responded quickly to my inquiry and came to check it out the next day. He made us feel reassured that we could do as much or as little as we wanted. We started with designing our home and he provided a significant amount of revisions which was so appreciated by building newbies like us. Leon was thoughtful in his suggestions and you can tell that he is enthusiastic about design and the building process. Once the design was complete, Leon personally handled all the permitting and reviews with the city. At that point we were ready to start building! We started designing in June, submitted to city around October, and were cleared to break ground by March. Construction was prompt, clean, and on track, both monetarily and timeline (and bonus, all right as the world was shutting down for the pandemic!). We moved in on November 15. Leon stands by his work and if anything goes wrong, he's there to make it right. He is just a really good guy. I would hire his team again for our next project! Two years after completion, we had a minor leak in our ceiling fan and Leon instantly sent his team to fix the issue! Talk about standing by your work! We feel extremely lucky to have found Leon.

I have come to understand that these guys have an enormous amount of work on countless units - they are busy. And while that shouldn't be my concern, I am just one unit, so having the work repaired in the time that it did is satisfactory. Their work is actually not bad, once the hasty mistakes were corrected. Little attention to detail. A lot of mistakes. They claim to install "brand new" appliances but you get repaired units, one after another. I am currently in a tremendous dispute with the management company at my building due to the work these folks have provided.

I used them to repair some water damage to my ceiling and to re-caulk my tub. Daryl did the caulking on the tub and did a great job. Jose came and repaired/painted the ceiling. He showed up on time, did an excellent job, and left no mess. I have since used them again for another small project of moving power from a wall light to a standard outlet, with patching and painting. Their electrician did exactly as I asked, and Jose again did a great job painting. He initially did one coat, and I requested that a second be done, and they worked around my schedule and had Jose come back out to paint no problem. Liza was able to provide me with a quote via email, and she responds to emails quickly. I will definitely use them for future projects. Their prices are reasonable, and they take on the small tasks that most contractors don't want to bother with. I'm pretty sure Daryl is a licensed contractor. They also worked on Saturdays for me which is a must and a HUGE plus.

They provide a real contract, with a payment schedule. There is a staff to respond to your emails and calls. The email system is very helpful if you're a busy person and don't have time to make phone calls. I would send emails in the middle of the night and have my answer by the morning (or sometimes in the middle of the night if Liza was up late). I think their prices are higher than just hiring a handyman but as they say, "You get what you pay for." CMRS is licensed, insured, bonded and experienced, things that should really figure into your decision making process. Daryl and his crew (Randy, Edwin and Jose) were all polite, hardworking and professional. Jose does great drywall and is extra tidy. I never met Liza or Gretchen in person but they were both great communicators on the phone and through emails.
