I love this Mexican restaurant in Fort Myers for so many reasons. Let me count the ways... 1.The guacamole is so fresh tasting and freaking delicious. 2.They do karaoke on Thursdays. 3.Their menu is huge and all the food I've tasted has been really good. 4.They also have dance nights where you know it's a party. 5.The staff is super friendly. 6.They serve margaritas that aren't too sweet in beer mugs and they carry green dos XX for Coach. 7.The very colorful decorations make everyone at least a little happier upon entering the building. Mmmm... tacos!

Pork a la Mexicana. I enjoyed this plate.

There are not a lot of eating options in this part of Lehigh Acres. Selection was minimal. We walked in and there literally was no staff in the restaurant for 10 minutes. We had to walk into the kitchen to announce that they had customers. Kitchen staffed seemed surprised but not too interested . A kitchen worker finally came out , peering a she looked for the waitress. Then after giving up took our order and brought us the stapled chips and salsa for a dollar. The chips and salsa were not homemade but stale and cardboardesque By the time we ordered apps, the waitress appeared, walking out of the bathroom. In the end, the food was not awful. Solid Pork a la Mexicana. But next time, I'm driving a lot further to eat.

Super great place. My burrito was very tasty and the margarita was perfect!! Service was a bit disappointing since there wasn't many people in the restaurant but overall good experience.

Pork Steak a la Mexicana! Spicy & full of flavor!

Agree with Alex P, very poor quality in service and the food! Not Authentic Mexican Food, and now that they changed owners even worst!

Y'all. This food truck is a gem in Leigh Acres and the fort Myers area. I found them on Instagram…read moreand dang am I glad I did. I love tacos and could probably eat them daily. But these birria tacos are hands down the best tacos I've ever had. The flavor was so savory and rich. The quality of the meat was top notch. And the portion was excellent as well for the price. Service was good as well. There were a few tables where the truck wt the location of the day I was there, not sure if that is a normal thing or not. I understand why they sell out often because truly these are incredible. Don't miss this whenever they are in your area.

I really wanted to love Las Gorditas -- the food is great and I always try to support local food…read moretrucks. However, my recent experience left a lot to be desired. First, I have to say the customer service needs serious improvement. I called ahead to place an order, but instead of being properly assisted, I was left on the line while the staff continued to take other in-person orders. There was no courtesy hold or communication, which felt unprofessional and frustrating. In total we had to call MULTIPLE times and was on "hold" for more then 10 minutes. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I understand how busy things can get -- but basic customer service goes a long way in keeping guests satisfied. Secondly, the pricing is a bit extreme, especially when it comes to something as simple as the Hot Cheeto bag. You are paying $6 for a 1oz bag. You can get a whole party size bag of hot Cheetos for less. I get that food costs are rising, but for what you're getting, it feels overpriced. Also, to add that I have tried this food truck multiple times and this occurs every time. The food is wonderful but it is going to lose business if there is not a change. If you are going to offer a phone service then please have it functioning properly. Overall, there's potential here, but unless they improve how they treat their customers and take a second look at their pricing structure, it's hard to justify coming back or recommending the place to others. In today's competitive food scene, service and value are just as important as flavor.

We came in a Tuesday…read morenight and the place was packed- we got seated in less than 10 minutes by Mr. Robert himself. Parking was easy and the atmosphere was electric. When Mr.Roberto greeted us it truly felt like he was welcoming us into his home. We were seated and I ordered a lime house margarita and the jalapeño queso to start. The margarita blew me out of the water. It was so delicious I had to stop myself from getting another one (maybe on the weekend hehehe) the queso came out warm and Cheesey just how you want it! They give chips and salsa to start. Three types in a bottle and a pico type in a container. This is wonderful for me because I am a little baby when it comes to spice so I enjoyed the flavorful mild (green) while my boyfriend was a fan of the dark red really spicy one! For our mains we both got tacos he got the carne asada soft shell taco combo which came with three and I got the taco supreme which came with 2 mine were hard shell with a layer of cheese and then a soft shell. I really appreciate how they use shredded cheese on the tacos I got- it was very authentic and reminded me of actual Mexican food from Mexico and not this east coast Mexican food I can't seem to get away from in FL! We finished off the night with the flaun which was creamy and the perfect way to end this feast. We had to go boxes when we left and a beautiful heartfelt conversation with Mr.Roberto. He was full of pride, kindness, and personality. He made sure to visit every table and the atmosphere made me never want to do a to go order because then you'd be missing out of all the immaculate vibes. I can't wait to go back!

I went with a selection of tacos - asada, chorizo and pollo. The chorizo was my favorite. They make their own salsa in three levels of spice. My favorite was the mild. It was creamy and flavorful. I also had an hankering for dessert so I tried the flan. It was probably better than the meal itself! It wasn't too sweet but it was rich and delicious - don't miss it if you're coming here.
