We had so much fun sitting at the bar at Lozano's. Staff was attentive, friendly, informative, and you could tell how well they all work together. We each ordered a drink and shared the Tres amigos dip, which came out immediately with fresh chips, and we were offered multiple Chip refills as we ate. I ordered the Don Julio Classic Margarita, and my girlfriend had the Spiked Crown Peach Lemonade, and both were perfectly made and hit the spot. Worst Mexican food I've ever had. The steak in my tacos was tough. They gave you about a teaspoon of sour cream,and less of that of cheese. You had to pay 4.99 for chips and salsa, the bowl was only half full. My glass of sangria was $14, which I thought was excessive. Ourwaitress brought the food and never checked back on us. My friends and I took a road trip but we totally forgot to pick up food before hitting the road and needed something good to eat and found this restaurant on the way to our overnight stay in Clewiston. They were welcoming, had plenty seating and had delicious food. I got the puffy ground beef tacos and it comes with rice and beans. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the rice and beans were. In my experience with some Tex mex restaurants, the rice and beans seem like they are just secondary to the entree but their rice and beans complimented the tacos so well. Lozanos is a little bit of a drive, but, by far the best Mexican Food and drink in Florida. The house made chips and fresh salsa is fantastic. We ordered margaritas and wanted tajin on the rims and they did an upcharge of $1.50 per margarita just because of the tajin. Great restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today, being a Sunday morning, they were busy, and offer indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a full bar...but it was too early for me! I had coffee and it was delicious. I think it's hard to find good coffee at a restaurant and it's usually because the coffee maker isn't properly maintained...but whatever they do here, it's great. There was at least seven waitstaff and I was immediately greeted as I entered and sat at the counter. I had two eggs scrambled with chorizo sausage, served with fresh-cut potatoes, refried beans, and corn tortillas. It was served in less than ten minutes from when I ordered. This spot was a cute little local spot on our way to a getaway camping trip. I was actually pretty impressed with the food being that I am from Texas, and my bar is pretty high for Tex Mex . The barbacoa was super tender and had so much flavor, but I have to say the star of the show was the refried beans! They had a wonderful porky flavor, and they were so creamy. My wife and I stopped in to Lozano for a meal after church. The waitress was very slow about coming to our table to take our order. Her demeanor was very dry and unfriendly. She acted like she didn't want to be at work. After we received the meal she didn't check back she didn't inquire if we were satisfied or wanted anything else. We had to ask for the check. I noticed when we received the check there was 4 per cent charge on the bill with no explanation. We paid the bill I am normally very generous when tipping. But this time.............. Upon bringing it up, they blamed me/us as customers not specifying we wanted happy hour margarita. Upon paying, they tried to double-dip tip, 18% automatic gratuity, with then 18-22% tip options after swiping the card. So not only did they overcharge our party $24 for assuming the wrong thing - but then tried to get our total to be $61 higher than if we would have gotten happy hour margaritas INCLUDING 18% gratuity. It just seemed like a way to make more tip on a higher bill while putting the blame on us for thinking we ordered a differently sized margarita on happy hour. I love good Mexican food, but this is great Mexican! To find really good Mexican in Florida is hard with such a wonderful Cuban and Puerto Rican influences, so to find this gem I look forward to returning and trying breakfast. On this visit we came in for lunch before heading home to Orlando. We were quickly taken to a table and we placed our drink orders as well as ordering chips and queso. The menu has a lot to offer so it made it so hard for me to make a choice. The puffy tacos caught my eye and when it came to ordering I succumbed to my curiosity and ordered them. Our chips and queso came out quickly and I was excited to see that the chips were house made and the queso was delicious. Before long our orders were brought out hot and fresh. Everyone's plates looked great and we couldn't wait to dug in. If you are unfamiliar with a puffy taco, it is basically a corn tortilla fried and then filled with your typical taco fillings. I had chicken and it gave me all the feels. It also came with beans and rice which were also scratch made. From beginning to end the meal was great. I normally drive thru Immokalee on our way to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale, without stopping. This restaurant always caught my eye and my friend and I decide me to give it a shot tonight. It's very colorful inside and there wasn't a wait for a table. Our server was prompt, friendly and checked in often. My friend really liked the soup, menudo? on the menu after trying a sample. We ordered cocktails (huge) and an appetizer of chips with salsa/guacamole/queso. The chips and sides were alright. Guacamole was rather bland and while the queso had a good flavor my partner didn't care for the filmy, stringy consistency. He said his entree was good, but nothing special. My entree was disappointing. The chicken was dark, leftover bits type of chicken, it even had bone. It looked like the parts you toss. Maybe I'm too used to skinless, boneless, without gristle and bone, but I couldn't eat it. The waitress did ask how it was and I was politely honest. When we checked out the young cashier also asked and I commented on it but. I refund was offered. For an 80.00 meal I don't expect some epic dining experience, but this was not worth the stop. I don't understand why this location is rated so poorly! This place is huge, I'd dare to say it is the biggest Mexican restaurant in Immokalee. Inside it can sit 169 people, and that doesn't include the outside seating. The inside is overloaded with decorations, so pretty! If you go before 3PM you get a free bag of chips and salsa. If you happen to go after 3PM a basket of chips and salsa is $1. The menu is huge and there is plenty to choose from. I ordered the chicken flauta plate it was $10.99 and absolutely delicious. Usually my problem is flautas is that people do not season the chicken, and that was my fear. However, I was surprised to find the chicken tasted AMAZING and was seasoned to perfection. Although the price is a bit high for their competitors (average for this area is $8.99).... it was still very very good. My husband ordered the Tex Mex combination platter. It comes with a burrito, chalupa, and rice with beans. He begged me to come here so it's safe to say he approves. DO NOT GET THE KIDS CHICKEN NUGGET MEAL! they use the Dino chicken nuggets you can buy at Costco and they fry them in oil. My daughter refused to eat it. When I took a bite I understood why. Tasted as if they fried it in the same oil as all the other food - gross. My lil tank of a son had a kids burrito plate and he devoured it. I'm a move in from New Mexico. We have been going to Lozanos for a long time and they are the closest thing to authentic Mexican cuisine.

First off, this is not Authentic Mexican Food, it is Tex Mex, for being Tex Mex, it is pretty good. The portions are generous, but expect to come out smelling like fried tacos, not a good place for a date. The margaritas are on point, the decor is festive. The food was tasty and prices are reasonable. They have specials every day, two dollar tacos on Taco Tuesday and 2 dollar tequila shots! They also do catering. They provide house fresh guacamole but I was not impressed. The chicken flautas were tantilizing as well as the chicken fajitas. I heard they make house tortillas as well and you will receive a complimentary basket of house made chips and salsa to your table before 2 pm- so tasty I took a doggie bag home! Otherwise, after 2 pm they are only $1.00. Everything here seems to be made from scratch and the staff was attentive. Unfortunately, due to their generous portions, I was unable to to try their fried ice cream or fried oreo's!
