Most painful manicure I've had. Didn't realize how spoiled I was at my usual place. I went here because they open earlier than most and I was on a time crunch, but man, it wasn't great. When I walked in one lady was on the phone and no one else was in site. Eventually she got off the phone and helped me. I was not offered anything beyond just a plain mani - no upgrades at all, not even lotion, were even offered. Multiple times she hit my skin to the point of pain while taking off my current dip. Because of that it stung horribly when she applied the activator - something I don't normally feel at all. Positives - my nails are done and look decent - a little messy/sloppy. I chose this place because it is conveniently close to my work and am able to run this "errand" anytime during lunch and not wait for the weekend. It is located in a shopping center off Montfort with plenty of parking and easy access. The place is pretty standard size, not huge. They had a handful on staff when I visited therefore they are able to get to you quickly and out the door in a reasonable time frame. The place is organized and quite clean. The staff is nice but they are not overly chatty which is a plus for me. Their prices are low compared to others in this area. read more

I like oatmeal thick, my eyebrows thick, and thick football players. I dont however like my dip powder nails to be thick. It feels like a stack of Encyclopedias on top of my nail bed. When I put my hand at eye level you can see a huge mound that's looks completely unnatural. Also, there's so much residue underneath the nail on my skin. Definitely not coming back and will for sure be calling them on Monday to soak these bricks off. read more

Just moved to the neighborhood and needed a well needed mani & pedi. I got a pedi deluxe and powder nails. It was clean establishment and the ladies were fairly nice. However I was disappointed that they mixed up my nail colors and couldn't get me a powder to match my toes or vice versa.. but I end up liking the color. But my nails look nice I can't remember the women name that helped me but I might see if one of the younger girls can do what I was looking for. read more

I absolutely love the way the nail tech shaped my nails! This is the best coffin shape I've ever gotten in the DFW area. However, the gel polish started to chip on several nails 2 days after I got my nails refilled here which is a total waste of $45 in my opinion. Also, the customer service (or lack thereof) is terrible here. The employees are not friendly nor are they polite which sucks because I am in love with the shape of my nails but I won't spend $50 (after tip) with rude people and on polish that chips after 2 days because now my nails look raggedy and they aren't even a week old *sad face* read more

Didn't like the fact that an older man did my nails, first of all I've always gotten my nails done there and I liked the job they did on my full sets but this time they just made me feel like there's no absolute way in hell I should even go there. They had an older man do my nails, which was already uncomfortable for me personally. He was being very weird asking personal questions and seemed like he didn't know what he was doing. I've gone to this place on a couple different occasions for full sets, fills, polish changes, etc. The last time I went was literally the last time I will ever go there. I went in for a fill and I was serviced by one of the gentleman who works there. I asked that he cut the nails down as short as possible. He went through once and I didn't like them so I asked him to again. I could sense his attitude from there. Before he applied polish I asked him to fix a couple of the nails because they were clearly crooked. I shouldn't have to point this out as he should have taken the time to ensure they were even! He seemed mad that I pointed it out. The polish application was terrible as the coats weren't even. I could see the line of the second coat on top of the first because it was that thick. I can do a better job myself but I like being able to treat myself once in awhile. I went to pay (cash) and he gave me change. He looked at me like I was crazy since I wasn't hurrying to give him a tip. I handed him $2 and he rolled his eyes and walked away. The occasion before that I went in for a polish change and needed to get the nails cut down. The tech cut them down but did not clear the excess acrylic from under the nail or bother to smooth the acrylic down on the nail bed to ensure a smooth appearance. Just laziness. I will NEVER go back there again. There have just been too many times I've lest unsatisfied. There are too many techs that just don't care enough. read more

I like the manicure but they need to clean the place up. Bugs on floor and the sterile pouches aren't even sterile. My profession requires us to use a sterilizing machine and the bags they are in aren't even color coded to have been ran. And no one washes there hands and there is no hand sanitizer in sight. The tech went from doing someone's feet straight to my hands. I had to ask her to wash her hands. I'm pretty sure they would know better. I used to go get my eyebrows waxed there all the time because it was so convenient because I work down the street. I always had great customer service until one day I went and the bed I was going to lay on to get my eyebrows waxed looked messy and was dirty with hair from the previous person that got their eyebrows waxed. I asked the lady (don't know her name but she's older, dark complexion, dark curly hair and always has it up) if she can change the sheets. She got an attitude but did as I asked. I recently went back and she was rude, aggressively moving my head back and forth when waxing my eyebrows and even got wax on my hair because she put a whole glob of wax! I just got a $35 manicure that looks like my 4-year old niece gave me. Also, it's the wrong color, and when I pointed it out, she just shrugged. She'd already spent 25 mins on one hand and I didn't have time for her to start over. The top coat bottle she used was thick and stringy, getting all over my fingers, and even better, a long black hair was stuck to it. Go gross! Yessica was very nice and my nails looked nice when I left the shop. I went in and got a full set with a pedicure. Three days later three of my nails popped off due to lifting near the cuticle. The length of my nails were not long at all. A couple of days later more of my nails were lifting. I found this very odd as I just had gotten a new set less than three days ago. I reached out to Yessica to share my disappointment and got no response. As a customer, I feel it is important to be empathetic and show great customer service. Especially when you pay $50 of your hard earned money and entrust someone to do a great job. I expected my nails to last more than one week but that's what I got. I will probably not recommend anyone or return to this salon. I wish it would've been handled correctly when I reached out to Yessica. An apology would've sufficed. I've been to Cathy several times and loved her work and professionalism and believe the issue could've been resolved had I waited on her. read more

I have gone to LP nails for the past 2 years and the last couple of times have not been very satisfying for me. because the lady that normally does my nails have not been there i have to go with the guy (he is not easy to deal with) and he does a horrible job on fills and new set, he prefers to pull off the old acrylic than to file it off (pull off is painful alot quicker but painful) i prefer to take my time than to have my fingers hurt for a whole week after, so that pissed him off. well after the second time i decided to go somewhere else, that is a little cheaper but way better service and i am satisfied. it was a good place to go and was loyal for the 2 years but since he has been there not so good. read more
