While nothing is blooming right now as it's still February, you can still quietly walk around and take in the seasonal nature. There are plenty of benches spread about so you can sit and take a break if needed. The grounds are very clean and clear of debris. I look forward to going once things bloom and brighten up a bit.

In the meantime, someone else came out and promised an estimate the next day. Three days later he hadn't sent and estimate and when I called to ask about it, he told me that he just couldn't do the work. So, I called Todd again. He had hired more help and came out to see what needed to be done. He listened to everything that Mom wanted done and started the next week. I've texted him several times with questions or comments and he always replies. A sprinkler head was broken by his crew; but when I alerted him to the problem he was out having it fixed within a day. My 96-year-old mother is very pleased as she loves her yard although she can't work in it any longer.

Every interaction I had with Kamairea felt dismissive, unhelpful, and downright disrespectful. I even spoke with several of my neighbors just to make sure it wasn't only me and it turns out many residents have had similar negative experiences with her. When multiple people are saying the same thing, it's clearly not an isolated issue. I'm not sure why she's still employed here. The building might look nice on the outside, but the way residents are treated is awful. Management needs a serious overhaul. I would not recommend living here to anyone.

I enjoyed how she encouraged individualism and creativity. Each of us started with the same supplies but had varied end products while learning the same sustainable skills of wreath making! Kyla also taught us a tucking method, so that we could repurpose our decorations and the wreath for other seasons! This further added to the value of the workshop. But there were hot glue guns available for permanent designs as well.

Of course, there we're plant things (watering cans, gloves, seeds, etc.) but there was also home decor items, candles, pillows, swings... I could go on and on! It was actually pretty organized and everything was presented well. When we got outside, to actually shop for what we came for, there were endless amounts of sections and row of flowers. Just beautiful! We were looking for plants on my front patio, which gets full sun. When we were just walking around, an employee asked if we needed his assistance and he helped us find the perfect plants for my house. Checkout seemed chaotic, but it went pretty fast. The line was backed up into the plant section, and we were worried that it would take years to checkout, but to our surprise, very fast! A small gem located inside Baker for nature lovers that free…read more If you are looking for a place to walk and just enjoy the beauty of nature and hear the birds chirping this is a beautiful spot. There are a handful of different trails. It's a beautiful spot to take pictures it's quite stunning . There is a small greenhouse you can tour for free. It's a good place to just soak in nature and maybe read a good novel. I will definitely be going back !

Stumbled upon this gem of a museum and garden. We enjoyed the displays from earlier settlers and…read morethe tools used to survive the rural areas of Louisiana. The reconstruction of the homes that were actually at the those properties were done with care and accuracy. Seeing the plantation area along with the displays on daily life showed some truths and acknowledgement on what life was like for both owners and slaves. I was amazed to see that most of the cabins were multiple generations, sharecroppers and later school houses. This museum has many items that all Louisianan's need to experience and explore. The gardens are well kept and beautiful. We save various birds, bugs and snakes to keep an eye out while exploring. Bug spray, water and sunscreen should all be brought if planning a trip.

I feel that they should've had music at this event and more food booths. Music would have enhanced the experience. Uber and Lyft both struggled to find this place for pick up and drop off, which was a little frustrating.
