I should not have to keep fighting to stop charges for a service I am not using. I also feel that I have been taken advantage of and treated differently because I am Spanish/Hispanic. Based on the way I have been treated and how my concerns have been handled, I feel there has been discriminatory treatment toward me. No customer should be made to feel that their background or ethnicity affects how seriously they are treated. I understand that businesses have policies, but laughing at a customer asking for help, continuing to charge their account, and refusing to address legitimate concerns is unacceptable. Customer service should be respectful and fair to everyone, regardless of their background. I am extremely disappointed with how this situation has been handled. Think twice before joining, and if you do, document everything--your payments, cancellation requests, and every conversation you have with staff.

Fitness, and Pro-Fit, but PF is hands down my favorite health club to go to before work. This location (West Babylon) is clean, and there are plenty of machines, most of which are well maintained. There are also plenty of TVs to watch while I workout. I also use the Functional Training Room to do my physical therapy (PT) exercises. It resembles a PT office, so I feel comfortable doing them in front of the other patrons. Personal training is free, and one trainer (I forgot his name. He works behind the front desk) recently assisted me with a few of the strength training exercises that my physical therapist taught me. Importantly, the rest rooms are always clean. The front desk staff is friendly and jovial, too. I highly recommend the Planet Fitness in West Babylon.

He still charged my card, he is not a man of his words. we never even got the 30 minutes free session coz he was always busy and I had told him that you let me know when you're available so all 3 of us will do the session together so you don't have to remove time separately for each one of us, he never bothered to advise. and then he pulls this trick. I was immediately welcomed by the friendly and encouraging staff and felt so at home! I've taken 6 classes so far and I'm hooked. If you're a Bikram practitioner of any level, I recommend Ash - they have a variety of teachers, but they're all versed in the Bikram dialogue. Colleen, Heatherly, Marissa - whether you like the 60 minute express or if you brave the 90 minutes, they've got you covered and you'll leave sweaty and rejuvenated. The studio is well heated and there's plenty of space - I've felt amazing from the very first class! They have a ton of other heated and non-heated classes too which I'm excited to try (but I am a bit of a Bikram loyalist at the moment). Only critique would be that they don't provide towels or mats so you have to bring your own, and the shower situation isn't great - the bathroom is small so there's nowhere to comfortably get changed unless you're standing in the shower. I'm coming from Brooklyn where I'm used to towels and mats being provided and the showers being really great, but that's Brooklyn where no one has a car and everyone has to take the train after class, so it's different. I'm adjusting to the Long Island life, so this isn't turning into as much of a hassle as I thought it would be. Getting in my car sweaty isn't so bad so I've been showering at home after and it's fine! I love Ash Hot Yoga, the teachers, the other students, the atmosphere, the availability of classes, and the you-are-family, everyone-is-welcome-here vibes.
