Fantastic massage. Got the couples beach side package and was brought to a cute thatch lean to and given time to change. The masseuses involved were very experienced in lomi lomi and I was even able to learn a bit from them. The only downside is that it was completely silent in there. While you could hear the waves, it wasn't necessarily close enough to fully enjoy them. I left feeling refreshed and energized. I recommend having a shower first before hitting the town as the coconut oil is not only everywhere, but it makes you burn quickly in the Hawaiian sun. read more

I've had many many massages, and it's truly an art, so I don't know if my masseuse was inexperienced or just not into it. If you want a massage but don't want to go into your typical spa Lana is for you! After doing some research online I contacted Lana to see if she could do a couples massage for my husband and I on our honeymoon. She had a special running on yelp which made the price unbeatable. She and another woman drove out to the Westin where we were staying and brought along all of their stuff (tables, blankets for draping, etc.). I had called to tell them we both had gotten sunburns (ugh) and she made a special spray with aloe in it to use. The hour was totally relaxing, very helpful on our sore muscles from swimming all week, and all the scented lotions and sprays were so great. I would highly recommend going to Lana if you are in Kauai! Its a great way to relax without leaving your room!! She makes you feel very comfortable and she's persistent in working out your knots. Also, the massage is really affordable - only $70 for 1 hour. Folks, you'll pay $60 for 1 hour on the mainland from a commercial establishment and they will not give you anywhere near such a great massage. I've been trying to remember when I had a better, more effective massage and I honestly think the one I had with Lana is the one by which I will now measure all others. Based on Yelp reviews and prices we decided to go with Lana for a couples massage on our recent trip to Kauai. We were staying next door at the Hanalei Colony Resort and their spa was nearly double the price as Lana's (350$ vs $200 for a 75 minute couples massage). She slaughters resort massage prices. My wife had Lana and I had Genica (sp). Both massages were terrific and we almost went back before the end of our trip but couldn't squeeze it in in the last couple days we had left. If we come back to the north shore we will be back! Note: It is in the front foyer of her house, but there's plenty of space for 2 people as long as you don't mind being in the same room. It's very tranquil, and no worse than any other massage space in my opinion. Lana knows how to make you very comfortable. read more

This was one of the best massages I have ever had hands down. Lana came to where I was staying due to recent floods (only residents are allowed on certain roads, so I was not able to drive to her). She was very sweet and listened to my areas of concern. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant and she gave me the gift of being able to lay on my stomach with some extra pillows and props!
