I take my cat to get her nails trimmed, she won't let me do it. They are all really good with her. She doesn't like having it done, but they take their time and talk to her while they're trimming. I've been very happy with their work. read more

My dog has been coming here and we always ask for a teddy bear look. the one time I say I want everything the same just a little longer on his hair they ended up not doing a teddy bear face and left all the hair on his his ears even his little matted spot he had before I took him. His face looks so skinny because they took off all the hair around it. read more

My dog is very protective and shy! Meaning she barks a whole lot! The staff was very nice and welcoming which surprisingly kept her from barking. Very satisfied with their work! Will most def keep bringing her here for bath and deshedding since she throws hair all around the house. They seem to have brushed her good isn't shedding all over the place read more

I took my two very large dogs to get groomed. They had gone there for over two years and have always been satisfied. That morning there was a new person there and I explained that I wanted my dogs backside shaven because he would get it pretty messy. I told her that I wanted the normal cut for both my dogs. When I went to pick up my dog they made me pay first, which is not what they usually would do. After I paid they brought my first dog which she looked beautiful. After that they brought another dog and I looked at him and said who is this, what happened. They had shaven my dog completely. He is a two coated dog and I know for a fact you do not shave them. They told me that she misunderstood what I said when I asked her to shave his behind and thought I said to shave him completely. I was very upset, my dog was seriously depressed. I went back the next day to complain and told her that the weather was cold and he would be cold, so she said here and gave me a sweater. She never addressed the mistake they made and never offered to refund me my 120 I had to pay for him. I will never return to that place and recommend that anyone find another place to take your babies to. That was pathetic. read more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place. I used to go to Resa's pet grooming but they would keep my dog for too long. Patchy loves coming here and comes home happy and not aggressive like at Resa's. She has the same groomer and comes home happy and clean. Love this place and I highly recommend it to anyone. read more

Back in April I took both my dogs to this groomer. I've been taking them here for years. I got a phone call the day I dropped them off saying my eldest dog's eye has been cut "due to him jumping into the razor" anyways my boyfriend and I took him to VetEr which they had to stitch his eyelid back together. The bill was 400.00 we took the medical bill back to the groomers and the owner was not there at the time, so my boyfriend went back to the groomers to discuss the matter a couple of days later, and she agreed to pay half the bill of ER visit. 2 weeks later my dog had to get another surgery due to his eye creating an ulcer which was another 400.00. June 08 comes around my dogs eye looks horrible, oozing and bleeding. took him back to the Vet ER cause he was in lots of pain. For the 3rd and final time, he had to get his eye removed. That bill was 1300.00. June 9 I went to pick up my dog and we went to the groomers to show them what they have done.The owner said they can't do anything because "it's been months ago, its the Vets fault for not taking proper care of him". because a waiver was involved (pretty much saying leave your animal at your own risk), she then told me another animal's foot was cut off and they couldn't do anything about it either. All I got back was a lousy sorry. I will never take my dogs or any animal here again along with my coworkers who took their fur babies here before this dreadful incident. read more

These people RUINED MY DOG. You definitely get what you pay for...this place is cheap because they are clearly unprofessional and inexperienced. I asked them to get rid of a few knots he had and trim him a little shorter. THEY SHAVED HIM COMPLETELY BALD. For no reason at all. They also scraped him with the shaver in several places - he had scabs and blood spots. He looks terrible and has been shivering cold ever since because he has thick curly hair naturally. They also cut several of his nails WAY too short and he was bleeding on a couple of them. To top it off, they don't have any sort of health or sanitary practices. They didn't even verify his rabies vaccination. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They will not take care of your baby :( read more

My experiences have always been positive. I have a maltese and they do a good job with her. They have her 'cut' on file so she looks the same every time I pick her up. One time they did accidentally cut her with the shavers, but they showed it to me and explained what happened when I picked her up. It was small and healed quickly. She is very attached to me and nervous when I leave her places (she's a rescue) but she has gotten used to Lubbock Pet Grooming and knows that I'll be back to pick her up. I used to take my precious pomeranians to this place when it was owned by another owner. Sadly he passed and trusting my dogs would still be taken care of I was sooooo wrong. I took my babies in and received a call shortly after I left them letting me know my male pom was bleeding and they could not stop the bleeding.I raced over to this groomer and my dog had a seizure and instead of caring for him until I arrived he was shoved in a cage while seizing and bashed his head against the cage so hard it knocked his tooth loose and that is where the bleeding came from. The groomer went to the back when i arrived and said OH he is standing now. I rushed him to my vet yet having left my two other babies there because they were not finished and i was in a panic. i rushed back angry as hell at this point to get my babies,paid and took all of them home.I had later found a huge nick in one of my females ears and all 3 of my babies whined and scooted around on their behinds for days because of raw butchered rectums.It not only angers me but has caused me not to take my babies back to a groomer for months now.I pray I can find a truly warm and caring groomer I can trust to care for my sweet babies as well as all other dog owners. I can only share my story with you and I hope your babies are taken better care of if you choose to take them there. Thank you and be cautious please. read more
