We first took her to another "kennel" in Lubbock and I cried the whole time she was there because it was dirty and I knew she was not happy. BUT after discovering Regal we have never taken our pets anywhere else! Todd and his family/staff are amazing and such great people. They love animals and you can tell by the way they run their business. We often took our lab for their "daycare" services so she could enteract with other dogs. They are great about getting information about your animal and careful to choose which other animals they can play with. She loved visiting her "friends" at regal and would get so excited when we got past 100th street because she knew where we were headed! Everytime I picked her up she was happy and tired! Which I SO appreciated! We use their weekend kennel services and it is fantastic. The prices are a little steep which is the only reason I gave them 4 stars. They are attentive when you bring in your animal and really get to know you and your animals. They always wrote down any notes I gave them for bones/treats/meds etc. I never worried about our dogs while they stayed at regal- I knew they were being well taken care of! Todd always knows our pups and us when we come in and is very patient with our sometimes hyper pups! They are also great about keeping records of the shots and such, Todd even called to remind me one week that our pup needed a second immunization for an upcoming stay! :) I can't say enough great things about Regal- they are truely a home away from home for our dogs and they love a trip to see Todd and the staff. My dog was at Regal Pet Resort for eight days. While in their care they reported that they ran out…read moreof food for him. I measure his food for each day so he should not have been out. They wanted to charge $8.00 / day for their food. I had my son take by food. When I picked him up he seemed fine. The next day he begin coughing and throwing up white, foamy, slimy liquid that continued all morning. Could not eat or drink without throwing up. Took him to the vet. All his shots and vaccines were updated even his BORDETELLA which had 2 months before expiration. I will never take my dog there again. They take in too many dogs and things are not communicated to owners. I believe they ran out of my dogs food because he was throwing up and it was not noted!

I spent two weeks trying to decide where to leave them, and I'm so glad we chose Tipton Pet Hotel. One of my favorite things was that the dogs have access to both indoor and outdoor spaces--it gave me so much peace of mind. The facility itself smelled amazing (which says a lot!), was very clean, and felt welcoming right away. The staff were warm, caring, and even let me check out their room with them, which I really appreciated. The absolute best part, though, was the communication. I truly felt like they cared about my girls. One of ours is a recent rescue, and I was a little nervous about how she would adjust, but they were so kind, patient, and genuine. I wish I had gotten the name of the person I spoke with because she was incredible. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Tipton, for taking such great care of our girls!

I took my dog to the grooming salon in December with his vaccinations that were done only three…read moredays prior in Dec 2024. He was groomed and the gal did a great job. Since it went so well I made another appointment. When I got there they said they didn't have his vaccinations on file. I explained that he was here four months ago and I left the paperwork. They apologized and I had my daughter run to the house and send me a pic of them. They then said they don't take handwritten vet notes. They didn't say that in December. She looked again and said she didn't notice which vet it was and that she does take handwritten notes from my vet only. Once that was settled she looked at my paperwork again and said since there wasn't an expiration date on the vaccines she couldn't groom my dog. She said that she had no way of knowing whether the rabies shot was a one year or three year shot. I tried to explain to her that it should really matter since these were way under one year old. She refused to budge on the matter. She called a manager and the only one available was one from the warehouse who had no idea about grooming and vaccinations. He refused to allow her to let my dog get groomed. So, after about 30 minutes, I left with my shaggy dog. Such a sad experience when a little common sense could have helped. In my opinion she didn't want to groom another dog. Mine is a small Yorkie who just needed a haircut.

Sis, did not have a car to get Sugar to a vet right away, so I took to yelp to find a reputable place to take her as soon I got back in town 2 days later. In the meantime, my Sister did her best to brace the leg, in case it was broken and made Sugar a comfortable as possible. I get home and take Sugar to her appointment with Dr. Linn. She takes one look at the leg, which his a little swollen, and states that she has no problem taking an X-ray of the leg, but to save me some money, she refers me to the Live Oak Animal Hospital down the road, since her in house orthopedic vet is actually on vacation. She basically did not want to charge me for an X-ray if it was possibly broken and there was no one that specialized in broken bones there to really help. She gave me the number to Live Oaks and explained that they were usually pretty busy but because they were a larger capacity animal hospital, with more orthopedic specialists on hand, they would be better equipped to help. Dr. Linn and her staff did not even charge me for the consult so that impressed me that they were not out to do a quick cash grab. I would certainly go back to this office again for regular vet needs for Sugar since they were so kind and empathetic.
