He has a great way of telling you what you are doing is wrong, without making you feel dumb or embarrassed. He came to our house, showed us what his dogs can do, then worked with us on our new Border Collie puppy. Donnie doesn't read from a script like the big box store trainers do. He goes over the basics, then if an issue arises he stops and works with it right there. He has a great balance between firmness with the dog and fun. My puppy didn't get away with bad behavior, but he wasn't crying and hating it either. Through the whole session we picked his brain about questions and he had a solid answer for every one on how to fix. If you want a dog that will heel at your side, dance, roll over and do every trick in the book. Donnie can help you. If you just want a dog that doesn't bark or pull on the leash. Donnie can do that too. His prices depend on what you want and thats how it should be.

As I write this review mine has been in a Vet Clinic continuously since December 20. The cost of rehabilitation has reached thousands of dollars. Donnie has not offered to pay any part of my bills. Nor given a refund for the unfinished training. Beware. This could just as easily happen to your dog. RLB

In the five trainings, we had with him my dog has completely transformed. Once a dog with high anxiety and scared of everything and everyone, my dog is now much calmer, more confident, and much better dog over all. Mr. Kelley helped me learn how to be a better dog owner and provided me with so many tools to help my rescue dog adjust to life outside the shelter. I 100% recommend him!

I saw a flyer for in-home dog training and behavior modification and called Richard. We talked for 30 minutes and I was impressed. When he came for our free consultation, he demonstrated with his dog and I know if he could help train our dog to do half of what his did-he was hired. Our dog was pretty nervous at first with a stranger in the house but within the first 5 minutes he was walking on a lease without pulling and within 10 minutes my wife could actually walk him. He has progressed far more rapidly than I expected. He now will sit is his place in the entry way with the front door wide open. Max loves the praise he gets as he learns and is eager to learn more. Richard is very knowledgeable on how to train the owners and makes it look simple. Thanks for giving us a well behaved yet lovable horse of a dog. He comes with my highest recommendation!

It's clear the owners and trainers have a true passion for dogs and improving the connection between a dog and it's owner. My dog gets excited and leaps into the car when it's time to head for training. He loves Paul and runs to him like he would to greet me, which says it all. I trust Paul and his expertise. He's very patient and caring with my dog and offers tips whenever I need them. Paul and Brandi are both very friendly and never come across as anything but that. Paul is also one of the few people (including other dog trainers) that even knew the breed my dog is. Not only did he recognize his breed, he knew as much as I did about the breed and it's history and use. This was huge, as the breed is the most naturally aggressive and protective dog breed as well as the largest breed of dog. So, clearly, the proper training of this breed is imperative and that can only be accomplished with knowledge of the breed. I love how heavy the training focuses on positive reinforcement. It's easy to lose patience when training a puppy, but Paul has never wavered. The facility is also wonderful, large and clean. They offer dog boarding, which I plan on trying out for the first time this week! Boarding is also extremely affordable and cheaper than using Rover. They also sell shirts, dog food, beds, and other items on site. I highly recommend going here for all your training and boarding needs!

I had to pay a consultation fee before they would come out which wouldn't upset me if they had kept their appointment or at least called to tell me they would be late or needed to reschedule. I had to take off of work to meet them adding to what this is costing me. I've called them three times, left voicemails each time, and still no one has bothered to call me back. In addition, 10 minutes before the appointment I received a calendar notification that THEY had made as a reminder that they would be there at 10am. When i was finally contacted (around 11:30) it was to tell me that I called their office number and they werent in the office during their posted business hours. I was also told I should have called the cell phone number they sent to me in only 1 of the 16 emails I recieved from them. They also explained that the trainer who was supposed to meet us for the consultation had the wrong time in their calendar. As true as that might be, the only person who was qualified to work with the agression and behavior problems I was having with my dogs is the owner. Why someone else was being sent to consult I can't understand. Not only did they take my deposit, but they failed to show up and refuse to give a refund.

But we decided to leave him there. We didn't have an appointment but lucky us someone didn't show up. They were happy to take him in. They called us about 45 minutes later telling us that it would be hard to give him a lion cut because his hair on top was matted. It was nice that they called and gave us grooming options. When we picked him up. He was happy to see us of course. The report card stated he did really good. I inspected him and saw no irritation or red marks. When we paid, the cashier was great. She tried to give our dog a treat but he was more interested in his new squeaky toy. I'd come back!

The "groomer" cut her dew claw on her back foot almost completely off. This was after 2 hours of her being there and they hadn't even bathed her or anything. She had the surgery and then had to be recovered. What should have been a 2 hour max grooming appointment turned into 7 hours until she could be picked up at the vet. And they didn't even ask what vet we normally use! Then today she was nauseated and vomited 9 times in a hour which led to an overnight stay for dehydration. I will never ever take my dog back inside the doors of a PetSmart and I don't plan on ever shopping there again either.
