Hi, my name is Tyson. I was an employee at Lubrication Station. There's a list of several disturbing and unprofessional things going on with this business, I was hired by Chris which is currently the manager of Lubrication Station. The owners are also Chris and Madison, different then the manager. My girlfriend and her sister are both Somali, and her sisters boyfriend is fully Somali and this place is very racist towards black people and others in those religion. Lubrication Station does a full service for $5 dollars more which includes topping off all the fluids in the engine bay, and filling the tires with air, then theres also the basic package which is just the oil filter and oil and the tire depth. I was told by the Manager Chris to not even explain anything to Somalis nor tell them if they're due for a tire rotation. The Managers response is "we cant understand them" "they're annoying" "they always have problem" "they come back every 2,000 miles", the list goes on. Discrimination is a big thing and nothing to joke about and it's not just Somalis, it's all black people. This place is very racist and discriminates against races, they also joke about stuff when customers leave and say very racist things about them. I started my first week here at Lubrication Station and they don't take anything serious and think everything is a game, behind the scenes this work environment is very toxic and not healthy at all. The Manager is a "CONVICTED" felon, who is also on probation and was sentenced to prison time. He swears at his employees if they do one little thing wrong, even for new people. Everything has to go his way or else you're fired and they always say you're replaceable. Week 1 a customer left with no oil in her car, which isn't a mistake, because you're supposed to check for leaks and check the dip stick after everything is done. Week 2, a young girl came in with a White Ford explorer which was fine before they entered the shop, they did an "oil' change on it, and she left and the back of the car where the exhaust is was spitting out white smoke. The Assistant Manager Kevin got into his truck and took off to catch the car and bring them back. They're hiding the truth on this and saying it's just the turbo and the customer was overdo for an oil change. The main thing is, she is 18 years old, she came in with a working car with no problems, no lights at all, and left with a car exploding with white smoke out of the back end. This is a Lawsuit awaiting to happen, Lubrication Station doesn't care, they claim it's the turbo which isn't true at all. My girlfriend came in for an Oil Change, her car had 13,000 miles on it and they told me they put 5W-30 in the engine which it's supposed to take 0W-20, after looking at the invoices they lied to me to cover themselves. They put 3 liters more than what was supposed to be in the car, she is now forced to go to Kia to fix all these problems. This place is Racist, Discriminatory, dishonest and asking for a lawsuit. For a family owned company that's been running for 30 years, this isn't okay at all. The work environment is toxic, they smoke in the bay, the Manager sits around and yells at his employees for nothing not only that, let's add on to the list. I started with another guy which they fired because they said his voice sounded like a "gay man" when he yelled down to the person draining the oil. They fired another guy who was there for 6-7 Months because his "Customer Service" was bad and he argued with the Manager, which never happened. My family has owned 12 childcare centers across Minnesota with over 300 kids and this is not how you run a business, this needs to be brought to peoples attention until something is done, this Manager needs to be fired, this place needs to be closed down. RACISM ISNT OKAY, DISHONESTY ISNT OKAY, DISCRIMINATION ISNT OKAY. Treat your employees better, treat your customers better, instead of firing hard working people and lying to customers about wrong doings that was caused by Lubrication Station.
