I'm a huge chicken, it took me forever to work up the courage to even call for a consultation. I was nervous back when i got the tattoo, but it didn't even compare to how nervous i was for this. I called and wanted to just book a consultation and the receptionist couldn't have been more nice and helpful. She was actually able to book me in later that same day and said if i decided to go forward with the removal after talking with Ben, he could even do my first session right then and there (Pretty sure my heart stopped, i wasn't prepared for that lol) But i went in later that afternoon and ended up having my first treatment! Ben was SUPER calming and and awesome. Explained everything and was honest with me. Said it wasn't going to be fun, but that he guaranteed it wouldn't be as bad as i was probably making it out to be. And he was right. He even gave me a sucker right before he went to town lol. I was really surprised how quick it was. My tattoo isn't big by any means, but i'd say it was about a minute tops. It feels and sounds EXACTLY like an elastic band being snapped on your skin. Mixed with a really warm sensation. He uses a cold air machine which REALLY helps with the pain. I'll be back for at least another 3-5 sessions i'd say, but having gone through it now, i'm not nervous at all. I highly highly recommend this place if you're looking to remove a tattoo. Its very clean and tidy, and Ben is really great at what he does. You can tell he takes his business very seriously and knows what he's doing.

WELL, fast forward, I discovered this week, payments were being deducted from my credit card still. (Card that I don't use often so I didn't notice and my receipts were sent to my junk folder) I then wrote to Lucere explaining the payments and asked for a reimbursement of the incorrectly taken funds. Finally after 4 emails and 2 voicemails, I received a response and was told that my in person cancellation didn't count and because I didn't write an email I'm still liable for payments. WHY WOULD I SEND AN EMAIL WHEN IT WAS CANCELLED IN PERSON, and WHERE I WAS TOLD IT WAS ALL TAKEN CARE OF!!!!! Especially when I was told there wasn't anything further I needed to do after confirming with the receptionist. This is utter BS and I feel after my loyalty this is a huge slap in the face and that my money has been stolen. I am being told that I have store credit.... that I literally can not use or even want as I have no reason to ever come to Edmonton anymore. I had previously gotten my Botox for migraines Rx from here and after my injection nurse moved to another place, who I trust with this delicate procedure, I stayed with her. I got an injection in February and need it every 11 weeks to stay functional without debilitating migraines. I knew my Rx needed renewal and so for 11 weeks, I left voicemails, texts, and finally got one call back more than a month after initially trying. The nurse said, yep, not a problem, have shoppers fax over the request. I did this TWICE. Left more messages and nothing. Finally I called the cosmetic side and they went over and got the explanation of why it had not been filled. Since I was not getting injected there, they would not fill it. OK FINE, BUT DON'T TELL ME YEAH NO PROBLEM AND THEN IGNORE ME SO I HAVE TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR LAST MINUTE. I was 3 weeks behind my treatment and can't work because I am in so much pain. Nice to know I am treated as a dollar sign and not cared for as a patient. Take your money somewhere else, this staff doesn't give a hoot about your well being - you are merely a cash grab.
