Blaring AC, beautiful local cafe, and lots of local artworks displayed on the walls. Perfect on any day to cozy up here and sip some drinks while doing some work or studying. The prices are very reasonable and the hot drinks are also very hot. The cups are so hot to touch so maybe using napkins is best to hold them. I had a hoodie on in here from how cool it was!!! Free wifi that worked very well. Staff were pretty attentive and friendly. We parked at the side of the streets, but there was also a lot and it wasn't too hard to find a spot!!! Lots of local businesses in the area, beautiful area to stroll through. Customer bathroom in the back. What more to ask for!!!

Tree lounge coffee is where you want to go to relax and enjoy a good coffee in Old Town. They have parking in the front, but it is a bust shopping area and you might have to park on a side street. It is worth the short walk. Inside they have pastries and a large selection of coffee and tea. Every coffee I have ordered here was amazing. There is ample seating inside and has a nice open feeling. I know they have a roof area to sit, but it was raining when I went. I had the Peppermint Mocha and so good, so smooth. It was delicious. Clean shop, lots of art on the wall to enjoy, or try your own with the supplies available.

Finally made it in, and so glad I did. Quaint local coffeeshop. It offers options from coffee to lattes to hot chocolate and chai. There is also a small selection of baked goods. Small but there are a few chairs inside. Local art on the walls. It's perfect if you're looking for a place to relax and catch up with a friend or treat yourself. To the weirdo who had to sit on top of my friend and I outside so you could suck up the WiFi, you're an a**hole. There was a reason that space had no tables or a chair! So tired of vapid people who purchase nothing and take up space to appease their needs.

Love this little hidden gem. I go here specifically for the Iced Kona with oatmilk. Delicious, creamy, and just the right amount of coconut syrup to make you feel like you're on the island! Service is quick, and friendly.

    A bit burnt tasting

Ordered the Kona and 2 beef potato empanadas. Ended up being out of the 2 beef empanadas and got 2 bacon potato instead. Waited about 20-25 minutes and the person forgot about the empanadas. He ran them through the oven again and came out burnt. Definitely would not order again. Overall, experience was not very great for how empty it was.

Stopped on my way back from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Coffee was good, place is cute. I asked the server for a recommendation - told her I liked sweet drinks- and she said most their drinks are not sweet and didn't really recommend anything. Anyway, I went with the Brown Bear Latte which was good. Cinnamon flavor was strong but not overpowering. I would come back.

My favorite place to grab a vanilla lavender latte. Vibes are good and the barista's are friendly.

Sure cute and artsy cafe. Love the art! I ordered a brown sugar latte which I enjoyed! Not too sweet and a refreshing coffee taste compared to the big chains. The place is a nice sit down to meet others or to even work alone. There is an outdoor and indoor section. Also have a few games available and crayons/ pencils to get creative. I just wasn't super thrilled about the customer service. I expected a bit more warmth from a local place like this. But they didn't seem friendly and more interesting in talking to each other. She rang up my order and didn't even ask if we wanted anything else. I could have but didn't even feel like it from this vibe. Wanted to buy a pastry for my kid. To be honest not very many options there anyway. Mostly looked like heavy sugar items. Overall, good coffee and overall vibe of the place. I'll come back to check it out again and see if the attitude of the people are truly that way or just my one experience

Brown bear latte 10/10 Not too sweet not too bitter just a perfect balance And This guava and cheese pastry is to die for

A hidden gem if I say so myself, the drink I ordered was amazing ( Brown Bear ) and the guava and cheese is amazing. It's also such a relaxing spot will definitely be coming back and recommending!

Been meaning to try this spot... absolutely love local coffee juice joints. Loved the local art displayed all over the place. My drink: I ordered the iced Matcha and Espresso shot. I had never seen this option before and I truly enjoyed it. I did add lavender to the drink which added a clear hint of calm to the espresso. The only suggestion I can think of is I hope they add a recycle option to the trash. Sitting enjoying my drink while staring at an over flowing small trash can was not appealing to the eyes. The amount of plastic wasted was sad. Hopefully this suggestion helps add another option for disposal of trash.

Tree Lounge is the absolute best coffee in Camarillo. I come here almost daily and the Dark Mocha and Dirty Chai make my day. The cinnamon rolls are ridiculous and the staff are the kind of friendly where daily conversations are a pleasure. The art on the walls makes the environment fun and exciting. Mia is a great server and provides a kind experience, rounding out a lovely shop.

Updating my review of Tree Lounge as this place has only improved with time. They have some stellar coffees and treats here that keep me coming back. Tree Lounge has one of my favorite iced lattes in the 805. The Kona is my go to! Love the coconut and hazelnut flavors, really transports me away to being in Hawaii. It's delicious and not too strong. It's definitely my favorite drink here. Another second solid choice is their Iced Ube Latte. It's visually fun and the perfect amount of sweet for me. Always a good backup choice. I continue to be a fan of their sweet treats. Love the Ube options that they have on rotation. I was also super pumped to see that they support some other local bakery and fitness bites in their refrigerated section behind where the customers pay. Service has definitely improved since my last review a year ago. When I go now in the mornings there is usually a gentlemen working behind the counter and he is always very nice. He is friendly and inviting. I also appreciate on the days he is alone he takes and order and then makes the drink immediately. I think customers would prefer that then someone taking 4 orders and then everyone waits for their drinks to then get made. He has a good system and I appreciate the thoughtfulness. Only sorry I haven't caught his name (I'll work on that). A great little local coffee shop. Fun artist decor and I love the new mural that's outside. It's a perfect representation of Camarillo. Very lovely. Definitely keep this spot on my rotation for when I'm craving a good coffee and snack.

Small Brown Bear iced latte with almond milk
    Adam F.

I tried this place and got things to go. It was all really good. Got a small brown bear iced latte with almond milk also a square slice of the ube cake(heated). And 1 pandan cookie(green with powdered sugar). The girl behind the counter was doing everything and doing it well. It was a learning and fantastic experience. There is a lot of Lion pieces on the walls. You can sit inside or out(which is covered). I took things to go. But if you stay there they have ceramic plates for your food. And I can't remember, maybe mugs for your drinks. All in all the music, seats, and "counter intelligence" seemed great. The vibe was nice. I recommend this pleasant spot. Good drinks and tasty food.

BREAKFAST CREPE: A fluffy crepe filled with soft, melty brie, eggs, bacon, arugula and tomatoes, absolutely delicious and so well balanced. I'd get this again in a heartbeat. 10/10 ICED MATCHA: Washed it all down with a sweet iced matcha, just how I like it...lightly sweet, a little creamy, and still packing that earthy matcha flavor. 8/10. I felt like the prices were very reasonable, the large drinks seem to run about $7 give or take, but it depends what you get. Definitely will be coming back!

There were 2 families in the building, I stood and waited patiently, drink after drink I saw everyone receive their drink. My order was to be ready at 732pm, it was now 739pm. All good no rush, nothing to do, I then noticed everyone had their drink and the barista, slender guy with no personality w/a beanie, deleted the last order from the screen and begin to clean his space. This is when I approached him and asked if he could check on my order, I wanted to be sure I wasn't at the wrong location, he asked for name on order so I gave it to him and told him it was an app order. He said app orders are on the other side (big long counter and I don't recall a sign that says orders or app orders or anything) so I felt dumb, naturally (I was not upset at all) so we walk over and I see my drinks and I said "oh sorry, my first time here, thank you" still feeling stupid. This is where he could've helped me not feel dumb and it all would've been fine and 100% on me, maybe even shared a laugh over my stupidity, BUT To my surprise he just walked away, he didn't even acknowledge my comment, nothing not a word, so I said "thanks" loudly since he was already 10-15 feet away and this time I was sure to be clear that I did not mean it. As I walked out feeling dumb, the other guy running the register cool dude with long hair and beard, asks the barista "do you not ask them?" He saw the opportunity! And that's my whole point!! Anything that would indicate that he would give a rats butt about a customer who just waited patiently!! I manage retail so I understand long days and all but I can also not accept or understand how someone can just disregard a long time loyal customer of this brand, knowing there are no more drinks in queue, no one in line, nothing and just leave me standing there. I will NEVER return here, a waste of a drive, I will continue going to Gabriel in Oxnard. It's a causal scene and easy to soak in the live music, sunlight/moonlight, and neighborly banter.
