I had talked to the lady at the front desk about getting a last-minute appointment that day, and she pulled through. She was also super kind! So I came back a few hours later. I pulled up 10 minutes early, and I was met by Rosa and seated within two minutes of walking through the front door. I told Rosa the whole situation and asked if she would be able to get it close to the original inspo photo. She said she could, but we would have to cut a little bit off the ends, and I agreed that it needed to be done. She was so fast at cutting--it was insane. The final cut was sooooo good. I only did a cut and wash package, so there was no styling but I was able to tell right off the bat that this haircut is good. I didn't walk in with high expectations considering the amount of random layers and short hair I had, but I genuinely couldn't be happier with how it turned out. I'm so happy I went to this salon. Everyone was so nice and made me feel comfortable. This is definitely going to be my go-to salon!

My request took Rosa about 6 minutes to do: only one side of my head, a quick trim to the top portion of my long hair. I cash-tipped Rosa nicely, then we discussed my charge. Rosa said she barely touched me and we both agreed it should be a minimal charge. I was SHOCKED when I was ring up for $32.00, which I understand is your customary charge for a bang trim. IF I received a "bang trim", I would have paid that most willingly-----BUT $32.00 for a 6-minute one-sided bang trim???? REALLY?????? I've been a customer for about 12-15 years and I promise you, I shall NEVER return. With a $5.00 tip to Rosa, I spent a total of $37.00. For a 6-minute one-sided trim. In my mind, this is reportable to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I shall be doing so. Rosa, as I said in my earlier Review Post, was sensational and deserves to be highly applauded. When I told you she should've charge more is an understatement. She went above and beyond with me. Such a personable experience- she never rushed me, addressed my concerns, gave honest feedback and recommended sincere results. The salon itself is so cute and clean, in a great location and even surprised me with a product that'll help me at home for the damage another salon owner caused my hair. We had great conversations, she was very gentle, knew exactly what was wrong with my hair before I even told her my horror story, and was knowledgeable about how to solve the problem without sounding repetitive (I've heard the k18 thing all before). She was wonderful, cannot recommend her and her salon enough.. will be back as discussed in our plan of action to make my hair healthy like it used to be!!! I met her once, and I feel like I can truly trust a hairstylist again. The cut itself also is SO CUTE and exactly what I was hoping for, and I can see a huge difference in my hair already.

She is able to take out some of the weight without compromising the shape or movement. I've also started sending my boyfriend to Lily (so she does a great job with men's hair too!). For men it's $55 for wash and cut, and she will do $35 trims between cuts if needed. Not only is Lily a talented stylist, she is responsive, professional and personable too. I would recommend Lily's Salon to any other West Village residents!

It's been exhausting so now that it's long I've been so hesitant to get it cut. (Every strand is like gold to me! Haha) but when I met Patty and explained what I was looking for (to trim/ connect all the unintentional layers i had from it burning off) I knew I was in the right hands. She listened super carefully to what I wanted and how I wanted the front shaped. I didn't have to worry about asking for a inch and her taking 3! She also went longer and asked if she should cut more making sure I was comfortable on the way and in the process- after she was done I had that 90s blowout look that I wanted and never even showed her a picture of! Not only is she amazingly talented - she truly listened and walked me through. Her personality is just the best. You feel like you're with an old friend in the most relaxing environment- a little space of tranquility in the busy city. She has also thought of EVERYTHING. Truth is, I've known Isaac for about eight years but mostly got haircuts from an associate. When one day the associate was on vacation, I got Isaac. And wow! Who knew? And friends noticed. A lot of them. I felt twenty years younger, more self-confident. And all at a non-movie star price. Yes, I knew that Isaac's father was a barber - Isaac has a black and white photo at his station.
