A pineapple teriyaki burger. I pretty much always order specials when I see them. It was next level, seriously. The burger was built with love and a true understanding of what a burger is. It was crafted, not slapped together. The ingredients all worked so well together too to bottom. It had texture, depth of flavor, mess in the right way, and all around a great experience. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement. From now on, every time I visit Bloomington, This is the first place I'm coming for food.

The rest of the food includes the infamous Horseshoe sandwich, which is a big ass open faced sandwich covered in fries and cheese sauce, and that's about it. Go here to drink, eat, and play games. It has quite a few slots for a tiny ass place. The drinks are cheap and the food is the basic stuff.

Burger was good but on the smaller side. Service was not good, though I suspect it was because they were severely understaffed. A bartender has no business serving tables with a retirement party going on and a non stop line at the bar. No one was helping her whatsoever and it had to of been overwhelming. Not to mention one of the employees kept walking by and wiping his nose with his hand/forearm so that was pretty gross. All in all, I hear locals really like this place but also that the service seems to be the consistent negative on it. I'd try it again for sure, but honestly, between the water glass/nose wiping and lack of appropriate staffing - that's usually my trifecta to avoid...so it would be a last choice for me.

Shortly after, a food runner picked it up and brought it to our table, which I immediately returned. Other than running food, no server ever checked on us or took responsibility for our table. The lack of service combined with the food-handling issue was extremely concerning and unacceptable. Unfortunately, this experience makes it hard to recommend or return to this restaurant.

How times have changed. Not sure if joining UnTapped had anything to do with it, but they now have 16 taps - mostly craft beer always incl a cider and Guinness. They have a plethora of sports, etc. on a plethora of TVs, darts and gaming, an expansive food menu.
