    New Orleans. French Quarter house.
    Peter T.

Peak did an amazing job on the French Quarter walking tour. Great cadence with lots of information that was informative and interesting. She showed us things we never would have seen without a guide. The tour was small, only 8 people and that made for a very nice time. Looking forward to our Garden District tour today!

We booked the tour the day before as everything else was sold out. Renee was great and reached out before the tour to provide her contact information. She also offered me an extra jacket which was very kind. We were a pretty small group with only six people, so it wasn't hard to hear Renée or follow along. All the other groups I saw were much bigger. The tour was interesting and we learned a lot about the Garden District and the various celebrities who own houses there. It was a great way to will away an afternoon in Orleans and you'll be well positioned to visit the Commander's Place or Magazine Street afterwards.

We had a walking tour of St Louis 1 and 2 Cemeteries in NOLA. Eliot contacted me prior to the tour and answered questions promptly via text. We were fortunate to be in a very small group (just the four of us). Eliot gave a very thorough and informative tour. His presentation style allowed time for questions and interesting sidebars. I left the tour with so much more information and still wanting more time with our entertaining guide!

I recently visited New Orleans for the first time and, because my friend had visited the city several times and wasn't arriving until much later in the day, I did a walking tour of the French Quarter. Our tour guide, Libby, was engaging and friendly (4 stars). While I enjoyed the tour and learned several interesting things, I wished that we walked more (3 stars). Since I had never been to New Orleans, I wished that the content was more structured. So, I'd give Lucky Bean 3.5 stars overall.

Joos was our tour guide. He knows a lot about Jazz, architecture and history. He enjoyed our questions and comments. I highly recommend the tour

Libby holds a wealth of information who merges history with pop culture and humor allowing the tour to be very entertaining but very relatable to the younger generation. New Orleans is full with rich history and Libby does an excellent job in her tour. I learned so much from Libby especially Lafayette Cemetery and the Garden District.

We had James show us around the Garden District. Small group tour - two couples. Fun day, great weather in mid April. Highly recommend.

We meet up at the Voodoo Lounge, where there is a ticket office in the back room. We didn't live the bar--smelled a little bit like a sewer and the hurricanes were super sweet and kind of weak. But we did have but one get one, so wasn't that upset. The tour was great. We saw some interesting, haunted places and heard the history behind them. We didn't linger too long at any one place. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny, although he may have been a tad bit too heavy on the Catholic Church jokes. The tour ended at the LaLaurie house, and our guide shared a story about a little girl on who was recently on his tour who started crying and asked why there were dead people on the balcony. Spooky! I was so intrigued by what he said that I started looking up stories about Delphine LaLaurie and the haunting of the house. When I got home, I even started watching season 3 of American Horror Story, which has the character Delphine LaLaurie (accurate? No. Fun? Yes!). This was a fun way to spend the evening. There was an obnoxiously drunk guy on our tour, and our guide handled him well.

She came across like an overly dramatic theater kid who couldn't dial it back. Her mannerisms and constant theatrics were cringey, and while maybe one or two stories had potential, the delivery completely ruined them. She would randomly go off on personal tangents (where she lives, her parents, and other irrelevant details) that had absolutely nothing to do with ghosts or vampires and added nothing to the experience. The worst part was her points system, where she'd give out points if people followed instructions or answered questions. For example, when we stayed on the sidewalk instead of walking in the street, she'd shout "10 points!" and point at each person while repeating it. It wasn't quirky or fun, it was just annoying. I wouldn't recommend this tour based on her alone. After our awful experience we tried another company called Nola Ghost Riders and I'd highly recommend them. They are located at the Voodoo Lounge off Decatur St, while French Quarter Phantoms is at Voodoo Lounge off Rampart St.

All the reviews I read noted it wasn't spooky so we went for it and I'm so glad we did! The meeting spot was easy to find. Our tour guide was Ashley. She was phenomenal. She was great with the kids and kept them engaged. She told us all kinds of things about the history of New Orleans especially Jackson Square. I thoroughly enjoyed the information! The tour was a little short of two hours and the time flies by. Nothing was scary that was shared other than light ghost debauchery. Nothing gory was shared and vocabulary was carefully chosen. Parents learned of stories that they could google later for the information. I highly recommend this tour if you're on the fence! I'm in town for a forensics conference and when I registered, I paid for two spots on the Unique NOLA True Crime Tour that was scheduled for Sunday. My fiancé and I ended up booking a later flight and would not be able to make the Sunday tour, so I called ahead to see if we could be rescheduled. Chris answered the phone and fixed us up without issue; we'd be on the 7pm tour the following day. Carlo texted the group ahead of time as a reminder with the address we would meet him at. At first we were concerned that maybe the tour would cover all the same spots as the usual ghost and vampire tours--my fiancé called that hypothetical "same tour, different flavor"--but I am happy to report that there was only one stop that we had seen before, and Carlo actually mentioned that it's the most famous stop and that it's featured in the other tours. He offered to take us to a different stop instead, but one of our group members was looking forward to seeing the famous one so we did that (you know the one, from AHS). But even there, Carlo stuck to the facts of previous owners of the house, and he told us specifically when an element here or there was a local tale of haunting. All throughout the tour, Carlo was informative, comedic, and didn't claim to know more than he does. We love a factual, history-based tour! At the end, Carlo gave us Mardi Gras tips and directions back to the places we were trying to get to. He grew up in New Orleans, and he's dabbled in a wide range of jobs, so he really knows his stuff. We appreciated every bit of the tour, and would definitely book with them for another tour in the future.

You can immediately tell he doesn't just *recite* stories--he has deeply researched them. Every detail was accurate, thoughtfully sourced, and presented with care and integrity. In a city where true crime can easily slip into sensationalism, Drew handled each story with respect, depth, and historical context. That matters, and it showed. What truly sets Drew apart is how he performs the stories. His delivery was engaging without being theatrical for the sake of it. He told each case with genuine love and passion, making the history feel alive while honoring the real people involved. He kept the group fully engaged from start to finish--thorough, entertaining, and never rushed. Drew is the kind of guide who elevates the entire experience and reflects incredibly well on your company. He's not just knowledgeable--he's a storyteller, a historian, and a professional who clearly takes pride in what he does. A true gem, and absolutely someone you want representing your tours. Highly recommend--especially if you're lucky enough to get Drew as your guide.
