I was so scared to go on the 5 in 1 tour but my daughter made me so it.... The Bone Lady is great! She's a wonderful story teller and brought the history of New Orleans to life. Did we see any ghosts? Well not with our eyes but the pictures we took definitely have some orbs in them that we couldn't explain. Naysayers will come up with all the reasons the orbs are in the photos but I know what I see! Don't miss your opportunity to tour with The Bone Lady!

My girlfriend and I came down here for a ghost tour on 01/25/19. The tour was absolutely incredible!!! We would actually consider booking the same tour again because it was that good!! You meet up at a pre designated spot and leave promptly at the time you're supposed to. They do pickup at local hotels and you can sign in from your phone. The company is very professional /!: have been doing this for some time. There is a a bathroom break midway through and a chance to grab some adult beverages. Our tour guide was Brian and he was GREAT!!! He went out of his way to show up the city, tell us some great stories, and show us some really cool things. He was funny, knowledgeable, and did a really, really good job. I would absolutely want him to be our tour guide again. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!! Get a cocktail, take in some history and learn about the haunted side of NOLA!

Lots of evening tours to choose from, but the guide's theatrical story telling, depth of knowledge and more intimate sized group made this the best selection!

One of the things we wanted to do while visiting NOLA was a cemetery tour. We decided to book with the Bone Lady. We booked easily online for a 1pm walking tour. The cost was $25 + $1 service fee per person. Discover is an accepted form of payment. The tour lasts about 2 hours so prepare accordingly. It's super hot and about 10* hotter once you enter the cement cemetery. Bring enough water and wear your sunscreen or wide brimmed hats. Roughly 1 hour into the tour, a stop will be made to allow tourists a short bathroom break and bottled water purchase. The water is $1 each and cash only. During the first part of the tour the Bone Lady explains the unique architecture found in the French Quarter. From there the Bone Lady took us to Congo Park where she explained the somber history and joyful future of the African and Native Americans. Lastly we ended up at the St. Louis Cemetery #1 where we were able to view Marie Laveau and Nicholas Cage's tombs. The Bone Lady is prompt, passionate, knowledgeable and empathetic in her surroundings as well as in her history. Thank you Bone Lady for showing us a bit or insight into your colorful diverse city. Be sure to bring cash to tip your guide.

This was my favorite tour by far in New Orleans. The store is a definite location to check out. But I recommend doing this tour in the evening for the full effect ;)

We went on a tour for my birthday and had an excellent time! I was worried that it might be a bit boring, but Brian is amazing and the stories will entertain and spook you. I will remember this tour for as long as I live! Leave a few minutes early so you can find the place. We got lost on the way and the tour guide was kind enough to wait a few minutes for us, but we felt bad because it was a big group. Thank you for making my bday extra special!! Highly recommend this tour...AND BRIAN!

The Voodoo Bone Lady tour wasn't our first choice for my friends bachelorette party. We actually planned to do the boos and booze one, but that sold out and they couldn't accommodate our group. After searching I found Voodoo Bone Lady, the 5 in 1 sounded like a good deal so we went with it. Her tour was great from the stories to her kindness. I didn't give 5 stars because I thought we would be allowed access into these haunted places, unfortunately it was simply standing outside listening to her story and taking pictures. I would definitely recommend her tour. Just remember it is a walking tour and New Orleans is HOT!

We had the Voodoo nine lady herself for the tour and she was a great story teller. Engaging with the audience and had lots of interesting facts to share. We did the 5pm tour. Some good creepy story telling although would have been a bit better if later in the evening. She was very punctual which we appreciate and was very customer focused. The tour ends at her Voodoo shop and her husband brought out some cool "show and tell" while she shared information about voodoo of which she is a 5th generation practitioner. Everything seemed very factual (or at least historical ) which I liked. I would recommend and I would also recommend having voodoo daddy do a bones reading. It isn't cheap but it seems more like the real deal . Check it out

First of all I want to thank Michael and Brian for being such great tour guides! I highly recommend them! They were funny, animated, knowledgeable. We learned so much. I recon do the cemetery tour and the 5in 1 ghost tour.

Should you book ahead of time?

Absolutely you should!! These tours book up fast because they're a blast. We had a great time and it's a great tour. Enjoy!

I am trying to call to adjust a tour date we booked? No one answering the phone and email is bouncing back as full! Can someone please get in contact with me?

Their store was being remodeled when I was there at the end of June, so that's probably why they aren't answering phone calls. Good luck!

We meet up at the Voodoo Lounge, where there is a ticket office in the back room. We didn't live the bar--smelled a little bit like a sewer and the hurricanes were super sweet and kind of weak. But we did have but one get one, so wasn't that upset. The tour was great. We saw some interesting, haunted places and heard the history behind them. We didn't linger too long at any one place. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny, although he may have been a tad bit too heavy on the Catholic Church jokes. The tour ended at the LaLaurie house, and our guide shared a story about a little girl on who was recently on his tour who started crying and asked why there were dead people on the balcony. Spooky! I was so intrigued by what he said that I started looking up stories about Delphine LaLaurie and the haunting of the house. When I got home, I even started watching season 3 of American Horror Story, which has the character Delphine LaLaurie (accurate? No. Fun? Yes!). This was a fun way to spend the evening. There was an obnoxiously drunk guy on our tour, and our guide handled him well.

She came across like an overly dramatic theater kid who couldn't dial it back. Her mannerisms and constant theatrics were cringey, and while maybe one or two stories had potential, the delivery completely ruined them. She would randomly go off on personal tangents (where she lives, her parents, and other irrelevant details) that had absolutely nothing to do with ghosts or vampires and added nothing to the experience. The worst part was her points system, where she'd give out points if people followed instructions or answered questions. For example, when we stayed on the sidewalk instead of walking in the street, she'd shout "10 points!" and point at each person while repeating it. It wasn't quirky or fun, it was just annoying. I wouldn't recommend this tour based on her alone. After our awful experience we tried another company called Nola Ghost Riders and I'd highly recommend them. They are located at the Voodoo Lounge off Decatur St, while French Quarter Phantoms is at Voodoo Lounge off Rampart St.

Date of tour: December 21, 2024…read more After a wonderful food tour in Prague last year, we wanted to replicate the magic stateside while visiting New Orleans, a city with a rich food history and scene. As requested, I will keep the individual location names secret as to not spoil your potential food tour but also because the stops can change and I don't want to have you disappointed if you don't get the same places on your tour. Ty was a great guide, providing us with local history and culture as we ate our way down Magazine Street. The only complaint I have is that they didn't really interact with us during the food portions, standing or sitting off to the side, or running to the next location to make sure we were all set. To me, the guide should be not only the bridge between the locations and food with us, but also a bridge between the different groups on the tour. Ty told us before the tour started that the other folks joining us were from Michigan, but we found out from them later that they were actually from New York. Had these connections been made earlier, it would have enhanced the tour. On to the food, wonderful that it all was! Please note that I may make some errors in the actual names of the food, while I took pictures, I did not write down the names and there wasn't a post-tour recap to assist me! Stop #1: A local sandwich and a seafood side. Both quite good, especially since I don't like olives! Stop #2: An unusual meat that was shockingly good! Stop #3: Seafood options. I've had a different version of one of these items in Asheville, NC. This wasn't quite as good but still tasty. Stop #4: Southern favorites that were so good! I didn't think I would like these but I did. Stop #5: A peppermint fudge cupcake. Sadly, the weakest stop on the tour. Other that tried the gelato came away disappointed and my cupcake was neither overly fudgey or pepperminty. It looked pretty, though!

This is a small group experience, which is why I wanted to do this one. We met at the Tableau Restaurant and were offered the choice of an aperol spritz or a French 75. We chose the spritz. We were told some history and ghost lore before going up to the wine room for some more stories. Very cool. They showed us video of a ghostly incident that had occurred there before. Next we walked down the street where we were told about the haunting at Muriel's Restaurant, where they also set a ghost table. Our last stop was at a psychic shop where we did a tarot card reading and we're given a Pan Am cocktail. I highly recommend this tour. He wants that it can be disturbing and announced that if you didn't want to hear it, you can go to the dining room, as it isn't broadcasted in there. He is very candid, and I learned so much about the terrible way Hurricane Katrina was handled, as well as just how terrible the hurricane was. It was very, very sad. I highly recommend this tour.
