The sales folks were really attentive and made me feel welcome. I specifically remembered Cherry B who helped me look for shoes. She went above and beyond to find me a pair and even went through J Crew online store to find my size and color. It was great to see all the sales people work as a team because not only did Cherry help me but her colleague assisted with getting me a dressing room as the store was pretty busy. The staff were incredibly understanding (after one wear my jeans stretched enormously) and advised me to go a size down for this particular style. They brought me to where the jeans were located in the store and helped me find the colors in my desired size/length (which was fantastic as the shelving goes quite high, and I am quite short). I was off to a good start and requested further input from another staffer who was happy to share her favorite style. As my size was about as close to the ceiling as they could get the employee gladly snagged a ladder and headed on up to those jeans. There were lots of sales going on in the store (50% off items already on sale - score!) so my friend and I both left with lots of great new jeans. Now for the exchange. I've noted that their computer system seems to prefer a straight return rather than an exchange. As one of the jeans I brought in was on sale I was refunded more than I paid (which the employee highlighted to me). They seemed genuinely happy to share this with me which I loved ("bargains" should have been my middle name). I then purchased my favorite jeans in new sizes and added on a pair of fun summer jeans with some sassy rips. The employees made sure to mention that there's a 20% off coupon available if I'd like to sign up for their emails. Um, of course I would! Sign up I did, and apply the 20% off to this order they did! So, that being said for less than $2 more (than what I was refunded) I left Levi's with not 2, but 3 pairs of new jeans!

We didn't realize this when we walked into the Columbia store at 6:50 on a Thursday, but the male worker let us know with the quickness that we had less than 10 minutes to go before they closed! We made a beeline to the clearance area and scored a great deal on a pullover fleece and a four pack of socks. I think the manager felt bad for his emphasis on the store closing time as he really pushed the benefits of the rewards program and encouraged us to sign up as we were checking out, which I did appreciate. The warranty on the zippers is a nice offering so you should do the same if you stop in and purchase something.

Hopefully this will be as warm as it feels this winter. Overland doesn't usually put much on sale and rarely if ever, coats. Typically an accessory or two will be reduced but I've watched for too many years to know sheepskin and leather coats never go on sale even in the post-winter period. With shops primarily in Colorado we are lucky to have one in NYC! Highly recommended for customer experience service quality and most importantly product craftsmanship.

Buyer beware: check the tags underneath the sale stickers before you check out…read more I walked into this location fully intending to spend about $300 - $600 on apparel, but I ended up leaving it all on the counter and walking out. While browsing, I found a shirt on the "sale" rack marked with a sale price of $69. Out of curiosity, I peeled back the sticker to see the original price, and the tag underneath said $68. They were fictitiously marketing a shirt on the sale rack for more than the actual retail price. At checkout, I pointed this out and asked for a discount since the item was presented on the sale rack, but they refused. I asked a second time, and they refused again. Instead of apologizing for the misleading pricing, one of the girls at the register made a snarky comment, telling me I could just "pay one dollar less" because that was the sale price--completely ignoring that $68 was just the standard retail price, not a markdown. Because of the deceptive pricing tactics and the rude, dismissive attitude from the staff, I refused to complete my $300 purchase and walked out. Very disappointed with how this store operates. The stock price is leaving franchise owners desperate to keep margins, such as the example above, and I'll be buying Alo out of spite to this transaction. Spending the same amount on Alo, even if I look like a fool, will make me feel better than putting my money towards a company that has a stock price ~50% less a year from today ($118 today - $245 one year ago). You think that stock price is going up being out of style and overpriced? Syke. The desperation shows by the franchise owners is showing, and it's truly sad. I've worn LuLu Lemon for years. No more.

I found a thermal "waffle" crew neck shirt for just over $15 with tax and the staffer at the register was friendly and efficient. I've noticed that not all UA stores are good about asking if you are a loyalty member, but he did and even got my friend to sign up, so overall a great experience!

They have more sizing options now for women with plenty of availability in L, XL and even some 2X. I didn't love how a lot of the women's shirts were cropped, even sweatshirts...weird IMO, so I didn't buy anything. Great prices on socks and outerwear too. Regular prices are high but score a sale like today and get some good deals!
