For Red Bluff this place is great! Don't judge the outside. It's family owned, it's clean, and the food is good.

LOVE this place, it's very clean, the staff is super nice and the food is delicious! We got veggie chow mien sweet and sour tofu and general chicken.

Very good! Best in town so far for me. If you loved the old Peking this is better or just as good. I'm normally not a big fan of broccoli but I just finished of every bite this morning my left overs! Still bright green cooked perfectly. The fried shrimp were big and just the right amount of breading. My brother had the beef egg foo young. And he enjoyed it

    Beef chow fun.

Stopped on the way passing through Red Bluff. Ordered the beef chow fun and pot stickers. Chow fun was delicious. The noodles were fried just right and the beef was tasty. Pot stickers were a little bland but good.

Great chicken chow mein and the cutest cheese puffs we've ever eaten. The tea was delicious and my son enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken.

Way to over priced. Honey pecan prawns were good. But cream cheese wontons taste stale. Pretty disappointed.

Just not very good american chinese food. Pro: veggies were fresh, con: dish very oily, chow mein/fried rice just made with soy sauce.

Maple Garden here is still my most fave Chinese restaurant for take out in Red Bluff. They have all the usual dishes, already made up in steam strays like at a buffet, it's just not all you can eat! The inside is not the fanciest joint, but hey it's cheap! You pay for each dish individually. They'll dish you out the food and the portions are super generous, they stuff the box all the way. I you don't see what you want, they can probably custom make the dish for you, like curry noodles, or chow fun noodles. That's what I did, just ask and they'll make fresh food for you and the prices are cheaper than any sit down restaurant these days. Better to bring cash here. We had the cook make a fresh batch of General's Chicken, along with some Curry thin rice noodles and my friend wanted a side of the regular chow mien. The bag they packed it all in weighed a ton! When we got it back to my house we opened the boxes and were surprised by the super generous portions. The food was so dang tasty and still all hot when we got back to the house. There a reason Maple Garden is my most fave fast Chinese place in Red Bluff.

Everything I got was freshly prepared to order and came surprisingly quickly. Broccoli with garlic sauce was just how I like it: crisp with a lot of garlic! I ordered it with the plain white rice, which was not too sticky or too dry. A huge amount of food for the price! I also ordered popcorn chicken, egg rolls, and the spring rolls - again, perfectly fried to order. The sweet/sour sauce that accompanied was not too sweet - well balanced. The service was excellent- the counter server was pleasant and patient with me. The cook had a 1000 watt smile. I was so pleasantly surprised! I will definitely come again.

I liked the cream cheese egg roll and sweet & sour sauce. It's like a Rangoon, but roll shaped, no crab or anything, just cream cheese. I ordered combo plate w/orange chicken (just ok) & sesame chicken-I thought the sauce tasted ketchup-y. The chow mein is ok, basic,no vege, no meat. The fried rice is Very plain. No meat, just like 2 peas. No flavor. Mongolian beef is ok, not much beef and mostly consists of white onions! Didn't like the green bell pepper beef- no flavor, not enough beef ratio. The only thing I might ever come back for would be the cream cheese egg rolls & sweet n sour sauce.

The place is clean and everybody was friendly. The food is on a cafeteria type line, you just pick out what you want, and then they serve it to you and you take it to your table. I can't speak to the main dishes, themselves, as I just came in for a Boba tea. I did see that they also had wontons on the line, so I also did an order of wontons as a snack. The wontons were wonderfully crispy, and not greasy at all, and they were very generous with the portion. I liked the sweet-and-sour sauce, it was sweet and just a little bit tangy. I had the Matcha milk tea, it was creamy and had a wonderful flavor. It's hard to describe the flavor of Matcha, but I do like it. It was a bit sweet, and just a bit savory. They asked me if I wanted the Boba pearls, which I did because I like them a lot, and they were very generous with them. A milk tea and an order of wontons was only nine bucks. Extremely reasonable. Thank you for a nice stop.

It was 100 outside and just humidity and hot inside as well. Very uncomfortable. -Ordered 2 boba milk teas. It was like drinking watered down milk with a slightly toxic weird flavor. It did not taste good. -Ordered 2 shrimp fried rice bowls. The rice was old and seemed like it'd been reheated. (My husband is Filipino. I know what fresh rice and fried rice tastes and looks like. This was NOT) The shrimp had been boiled. Not fried. -Also ordered a thing of the crab wontons. They were very rubbery and stale. Overall it was very disappointing. Will not be eating there on our way back home. Side note: I probably would have gotten a combo but all the food on their food line was dried out and looked like it had been sitting all day. I threw out what I had left. Which from the pic I didn't even eat half.
