They always made us feel welcome, and I especially appreciated how they made my wife feel special every time we visited. In the past, walking through the door meant hearing warm greetings from nearly every staff member. It felt like coming home. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was completely different. We didn't recognize anyone, the warm atmosphere we had grown to love was gone, and the service felt impersonal. Instead of feeling like valued longtime customers, it felt as though it was our very first visit. Change is inevitable, but the sense of family that made Casa Ramos so special seems to have disappeared. Sadly, after more than 20 years of loyal patronage, I don't think we'll be returning. My son ordered a carnitas burrito and it was huge. He's a big eater and he even had leftovers. Also ordered were the fish tacos and chili verde, served with warm tortillas. Dinner is started with warm tortilla chips with mild and regular salsa. Both times here have been a good experience, I'll be back next visit.

All that to say, Casa Rios didn't disappoint. My friend got the chili relleno with cream sauce, one word, FANTASTIC. I like that it had a bit of char to it and that it wasn't super eggy. It had a nice crisp to it. For desert (it being my bday week and all lol) was their coconut tres leches cake with strawberries. Another smash out of the park. I will definitely be back.
