Such a shame because the ambiance is very nice but the service is very unprofessional. I got a 30 minute massage as a gift and the lady was begging me to do a 2 hour massage. When I said no she said 1 hour? I continued to say no. When my massage ended she suggested more time. Right after that I already felt uncomfortable. I asked the front desk if I was good to go and he said yes. As I'm leaving this women chases me out to the parking lot saying no tip? I didn't have any cash and asked if I could somehow leave a card tip. When leaving a tip she watched over my shoulder and I will never go back again. So uncomfortable!! Tipping is not required and if she hadn't begged me to pay for more time (or I had cash) I might've considered tipping before practically being forced to tip. read more

In A Nutshell: -Lucky Foot Spa in Syracuse is pretty good. -I opted for a foot massage and at most places you soak your feet in water. -Here you don't do that, you will immediately sit upright & get a nice back/neck massage. -After that you will lay down & they put gloves on so they can apply some nice lotion to massage your feet. -They really focus hard on your feet & apply just enough pressure to those tender spots, but it feels oh so good. I've gone to Lucky foot spa for a full body massage and foot massage twice before so I know what they're like and they're usually pretty good. This time around I went to get my feet massaged for an hour a gift certificate from my kids and it was the worst experience that I had there. I couldn't tell if he was falling asleep or if he was under the influence of something and or both. I wasn't sure but I was very uncomfortable and at the end I walked right out to talk to the lady and tell her how he was falling asleep or whatever his problem was.I wasn't sure if he was going to fall or fall on me or what was gonna happen. Once he was done I walked out to the desk and told her he was falling asleep and it was not a good foot massage. I wanted to have my full one hour body massage another time because he clearly wasn't able to do a good job the job that I have experienced before there.. I just wanted to get out of there after that experience. I don't know if she understood me,I think she did,or just didn't care. They had the nerve to ask me if I was going to give him a tip? I said no absolutely not! They didn't ask me if I wanted to have someone else do my full body massage or refund me for my foot massage NOTHING. So disappointing and a waste of my time. I have been going to Lucky Foot Spa for seven or eight years and looks so forward to each and every visit but lately things have been very haphazard and it does not seem managed very well. It's very noisy. with people walking in and out and talking loud enough so that it interrupts people who are getting a massage. Today, my sister and I went and we both noticed that something wasn't right with our foot and we opened up our both of our people were on their phones while they were doing the foot . My husband and I had a two-hour couples massage that started with a foot soak/massage with back massage (clothes on) for the first hour and we switched rooms for the oil massage (underwear only). I didn't catch the name of my masseur, but he knew exactly what places to target and what pressure to use. We came out feeling like two jello lumps, which was fantastic! I think my only not-entirely-positive comment would be that there isn't a total separation of rooms--the walls don't exactly go all the way to the top. It was an incredibly relaxing and lovely experience for an outstanding price. Tip the staff well because they do wonderful. I also bought a cool bamboo plant there for my dad who had surgery. It was different than the regular flowers. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Just a suggestion: please don't be one of those people that talks or asks questions to staff when you're in the massage area. It's rude. One lady began to but stopped. Be considerate. It's not a time for conversation, it's a peaceful and relaxing time. I give this place five stars because it really was excellent service with great pricing!!! I got a gift card for this spa for my birthday. It was for 1 hour full body massage worth $60 which quite reasonable. I had a mixed experience here. I had an afternoon appointment and was taken in for the massage on time. The staff was polite and gave me some instructions before the massage but they never asked me what pressure I preferred or if I was allergic to any component of oil/cream they might use. The massage itself was relaxing but I had to tell the masseuse a few times to apply less pressure. She did target all the right spots! I was surprised by the hot stones at the end. They were the best part! As pointed out before, you can hear people around you as there are no walls separating each room. But I just experienced some talking at the end of my massage. At the end of the day I did notice some light bruises on my back with some soreness but I am told that it's to be expected after a deep tissue massage or when you have too many knots. There is definitely scope for improvement when it comes to customer service but I would try them again. read more

I've been there about 10 times so far. Very clean and seemed professional. Great body massages. During my last massage, I was offered a handjob by one of the female massage therapists, which I declined. It was very disappointing. I thought they were legit because they have excellent reviews, have gift certificates available, both male and female staff and clients, very clean space, etc. Nothing seemed sketchy until now but I would not recommend them anymore. I received a gift certificate from a friend for my birthday. I went in with friends. I was never introduced to the therapist. There was no health history or intake of any kind. I was told to get on the table face down, keeping only my underwear on, before the therapist entered. He didn't ask me my name or anything about myself. Not even what kind of pressure I liked. He was very rough. I asked him to go lighter several times, but he didn't. He used coconut oil and didn't even ask if I was allergic to anything. This place is super cute. It's newish, and never busy but it should be. $32.99 for an hour foot massage is a fantastic price. They start with your feet in bucket of hot water and tea (I think) while you soak. They give you a shoulder massage while they're soaking (about 10 mins). Then they dry you off and go to town on your feet. The rooms aren't private, they are separated by bamboo curtains. It's cute though. I've been twice. For the price I'll come often. Super impressed with my experience here with the one hour body massage. Got a FULL 60 minutes, which I notice more and more is not the case with other massage therapists in the area. And tons of extras - hot stones, hot towels, and even some accupressure, as well as some face and scalp massage included. Nice firm pressure without being painful. Dollar for dollar this is a much better massage than other places in and around Syracuse, which are charging $70 or even $80 for a "hour." They were very accommodating as we changed the appt time twice, they stayed open past closing hours to complete our hour and 1/2 massage. I was visiting from out of town and found this place on Groupon. Well, $24 for a 60 min foot massage sounded awesome! We easily booked an appointment over the phone. The atmosphere is very relaxing and quite beautiful- the lights are very, very dim and each room is separated by a beaded curtain. The rooms for foot massages have a two seat couch and foot rest (which is why it's so perfect to go with someone!). There is soft music playing. The receptionist was very friendly and I didn't find her too pushy like some others did! Once we were in the massage room, we were instantly relaxed. The large couch was comfy and clean. Our masseuses asked us to sit on the foot rests while our feet soaked in warm water. They gave us a wonderful 10 min back and shoulder massage. Next, we moved to the couch and started the foot massage. It was great! Certainly not the best foot massage (it was pretty gentle), but great for the price. They also finish off with hot stones and hot towels! Yes, the curtains make the rooms less private and you can hear the noises of the reception. To be honest, my mother and I brought headphones and listened to music the whole time (not sure if this is rude or not, though!). The place wasn't too busy and the other people were not distracting to us. When we left, we didn't feel the pressure to give a large tip, as other reviewers have. This was the WORST foot massage experience ever. I used my groupon for a 90-minute foot reflexology. The masseuse was NOT professional at all. I could not feel ANY pressure on my calves or my feet. Not that I was happy with my first hour, after the first hour, the masseuse just started tapping her hands and towels on my skin! THIS IS NOT MASSAGE. THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. I felt very uncomfortable and as if she was expressing how tired and unhappy it was to be massaging me. I was very excited when i found out that lucky foot spa was reopening.I made an 11:00 appointment yesterday for today,whem i arrived i was told that the website was old and not used anymore so they asked me to come back in an hour.I left and returned to my car within a few minutes they called me into their place of business that had someone to massage me.I paid for a two hour massage and was shown to a room and told to disrobe and lay on the table which is a normal procedure.I waited 15 min for my therapist to come to my room. she started my massage which was very good for the most part for the first hour. Starting my second hour she starting looking at the clock every 5 minutes like she wanted this to end, some of the time that she massaged me she was only using one hand. I ended up only getting one hour and thirty five minutes.I've used this place before and was very happy but not this time .very dissapointed.Started massage at 11:15 and it ended at 12:50. read more
