Red bean dip was a new one for our group, I wonder if it would do better with the beans smashed or mashed. Calamari 4/5 Saganaki 6/5 The flaming cheese was the photo worthy experience while the flavors with roasted fennel and grapes on top complemented the beautifully charred cheese. Service is fantastic with everyone knowing the menu and their craft. The covered patio with ceiling fans is wonderful for a nice summer day when you dont want to be out in the sun but dont want air conditioning either.

We were able to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday night and enjoyed sitting at our outdoor table and chatting, but were unimpressed with the service and value of food and drinks. I was with three friends and we were not overly hungry so we decided to order one order of chicken souvlaki (skewers) and one order of steak skewers ($28 and $29). We were shocked when the order came out and each order came with one single skewer with three pieces of meat (three steak tips, three pieces of chicken) and one skewer with 6 vegetable pieces around an inch in size. Very surprised with the amount of food for the price and we were not incredibly impressed with the taste of the food either. It seemed that those around us were ordering pasta dishes and fish dishes, and maybe those are better options to try, but we expected a skewer plate with rice to be a classic and safe bet.

It was creative and delish. we had Calamari with a basil olio and of course I asked for more lemon, hey I'm Greek. It was tender and very yummy, we had a salad as well and that was delishious as well. We ordered the lamb chops with greens (horta) and potatoes. the lamb was from upstate Maine and was very fresh and cooked perfectly, the potatoes were crispy. The restuarant was in a nice homey neighborhood and we found street parking no problem. The restaurant is lovely inside, light and airy with an island feel. the waitstaff was very nice and friendly and our meals and drinks came out in perfect time. we met Nancy the owner who we became fast friends. she smart dedicated and creative. If you want a great meal, in a lovely cool place go to Magessa, the word means witch and you will be bewitched by this place and its food, you'll want to go back.

I ordered the greek shakshuka and it was delicious! perfect runny egg and a great dish with the naan addition. I got a glass of the house white and the house red wine and both were divine! I hope they continue to do these fun brunches, the staff was amazing and it was such a great time.

I have strong opinions and I know what I'm used to eating when it comes to the "food of the Gods" as I call Greek cuisine. For that reason, I have waited a long time to eat at the Greeks of Peaks. I just did not want to be disappointed. Well, to be honest, I was NOT disappointed!!! The Greeks of Peaks serves up some really good Greek food with the requisite amount of lemon, oregano and familiar Greek deliciousness!!! Bravo to the other Greeks of Peaks!!! I will be back and I give it a strong recommendation indeed without any native Greek reservation! The customer service was friendly and good as well. Those women keep a smile on their faces while turning out some very good food! And all in a truck too! It is mind boggling to me that only 3 people can cook up such good food, serve it up in a friendly and fast way and create a happy dining experience, all while working in a small truck in an outside dining room. Okay okay since I am reviewing this establishment AND since I am Greek, I will have some thoughts on some things. The serving containers are too flimsy. They should be sturdier and, I think, larger. For the prices, I did want more food. But the cardboard containers soaked up too much of the dressing and the delicious oils - I was worried they wouldn't last through my meal. Also I did not like the forks at all. Please - parakalo - give me better utensils for my next meal with you! I look forward to many more great Greek meals with the Greeks of Peaks!!! And I encourage you to visit this very special place too!
