I really hate to write this. I have been a very happy customer of this place for several years. The past 2 times were not very good. The latest being Friday night, 6/2. I called in an order. Beef teriyaki sticks, shrimp and broccoli, and steamed dumplings. 28.00. Fair price. However, the beef sticks were like shoe leather, so overcooked the ends were burnt. The dumplings were half their normal size and shriveled and dry. The shrimp and broccoli was good. But 3 shrimp in the entire order? :( Yes. 3. Very disappointed. I live in the area and had ordered from the Lucky Panda a few times over the years and it was okay to good every time. We decided on chinese again on a Friday night and didn't want to go far so we called and ordered from lucky Panda at 6:30PM. We ordered Beef and Broccoli with steamed rice and egg roll and also ordered a second dinner which was general Tso's chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. We also ordered hot ad sour soup. They told me that it would be at least 50 minutes before i could pick up and although that to me was exceptionally long for a pickup order I agreed and planned on giving them an hour at least before i showed up. I showed up at 7:10 trying to go through the drive thru to pick up put they were taking someones order through the windos (it's a pickup window and not an order window) and after waiting for about 10 minutes the guy was told he can't wait at the window for the food and he pulled to a parking stall. i got to the window and they said it would be a few more minutes and i was next (at this point it has been an hour and 20 minutes since i ordered.) I waited 5 minutes and couldn't get the attention of the employees inside so i went inside and they said my order was coming up next but the funny thing was that there were people walking in and ordering and i am sure they were not told there was an hour plus wait. They offered no explaination except they had been so busy and were behind in the kitchen. after waiting 5 more minutes i said that i was leaving and the employee said that it was ready. So i paid for the food really pissed off about how indifferent the staff was ( not trained in customer service and poor handling of the situation!!) And left to get home. I was getting over how upset i was in the 5 minute drive home. When we opened up the food the first thing that stood out is that they gave my wife pork fried rice instead of steamed. My dinner, general tso chicken with pork fried rice looked fine. We shared the Hot and sour soup and it was okay. Nothing special but nothing to complain about. I then started on my general tso chicken. Well it looks like they screwed up mine too because it had no heat and really tasted like a glazed chicken except for the fact there was very little chicken in the deep fried doe covered chicken. i tore the so called general tso chicken balls up with my hands and i may of yielded one oz. of real chicken. It was more like glazed doe balls with no heat!! Threw most of it away. The pork fried rice that came with it tasted like it had been mad yesterday and was dry and very bland. My wifes Beef and broccoli was as she put it okay but devoid of any flavor and of course she couldn't eat the rice as it was not what she had ordered. The last thing we ate was the egg roll which was tough to bite in to and was about 80 percent thick heavy dough with no flavor. No amount of duck sauce could save it so after a couple of bites, I through mine away and for my wife it was 1 bite. Very disappointed to say the least!! From extremely long waits to poor customer service to terrible quality of food sold this will definitely be the last time I order food from there again. There are too many choices in my area including Panda Express which cooks the food fresh in front of you and serves you within minutes of arriving or ordering take out. I will just have to endure an extra 10 minute drive when i want a quality food product!! I am truly sorry to see this restaurant slip like this. read more
