Went there for the first time for a take out order and I Must say Erica, the hostess was extremely nice and accommodating to what we wanted. This restaurant is owned and operated by Chinese and not Mexicans as some are. The egg rolls were delicious and the chicken garlic dish was amazing. We met John the delivery guy who was so nice and friendly too. Very clean and organized. My husband and I will definitely be a regular customer. We love Chinese food and so glad we found this gem of a restaurant. The inside was nice quiet atmosphere with a lovely bar to have a drink while waiting. I feel like 3 stars is too harsh but can't rate this place with 4 stars. The space is very nice. It's a large place with plenty of booths. The service was excellent - we never had to go without an extra glass of water or beer or napkins. It was the food that was disappointing. Previous yelpers seemed to like the food here so maybe we ordered the wrong items? We started with chicken wing appetizers and they were enormous and crispy fried. Actually, they were good but I wouldn't have called them Asian. I had moo shu pork which was beautifully presented, the pancakes were folded on a plate, but the moo shu was dry and tasteless. I had to heap on the plum paste. The pancakes were also a bit stale. Don had the Hunan chicken which he found satisfying but not great. I had a bite and didn't like it at all. Very good! We work in the area and it's a great place to stop quickly. The food is fresh. They use fresh mushrooms and fresh veggies in their dishes. I ordered the moo goo gai pan and it's is very good. It was very good with all the fresh veggies! One of the best! The wonton soup is very good lots of wontons. The food was delicious. We ordered 4 combo platters, 1 qt of noodles and extra egg rolls... But, I ordered online and when I got my confirmation email it did not include an estimated delivery time. I called to check, and even though I said "I just placed an order, I want to check the wait time," they were hateful that I had called "right after placing an order." Then they called me back to ask questions about our delivery location, again, very hateful. When our food arrived over a fourth of the food was missing. Took forever to get them, but once they got to the table, were piping hot and worth the wait. Kids had the lo Mein, they were happy with it and it looked good. I had the Hunan Beef which was very good, but could be spicier for my taste, but that's just me. Kids mom had beef fried rice which was very delicious, buttery and creamy (not dry), and the beef in all the dishes was tender and juicy. The fried rice could use some egg, but just our preference. The prices were extremely reasonable. For two appetizers and four dishes and drinks it came to $53! We were the lucky ones at Lucky Panda this evening. We were a party of four and had two different soups and four different entrees. The Hot and Sour Soup was hearty and delicious, and the Egg Drop Soup was one of the best ever tasted. All the entrees featured fresh ingredients, skillful preparation and attractive presentation. First time there we ordered food got drinks there was only 2 other customers in the place took over 50 minutes to get food. They where slow about filling drinks back up. Food was very good but service was not if they get better with service they could have every seat filled. What a great place to enjoy Chinese food at the beach. Very nice decor and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. We arrived shortly before closing time and our food was delicious.
