The fried rice was a little different from what we are used to, but delicious and the orange chicken was slightly less spicy than we prefer, but well made, the sweet and sour was so good we used some of the extra sauce for the crab rangoon and the egg rolls. We stopped in for lunch. It was about 2:30 and there were two tables of guests. The owner and chef were both available and very nice to chat with. I had hot and sour soup and stir fried shrimp and veggies with white rice. The meal presentation was way above average for a Chinese restaurant! The food was delicious too, my veggies and large shrimp were cooked perfectly. My husband had an egg roll and kung pao chicken with fried rice. He enjoyed his as well. Ordered their lunch specials online via Seamless and my partner and I were seriously so impressed we wanted to share on another platform as well to recommend this place to others! Our food was fresh and delicious - really balanced and flavorful, and not overly salty at all. We found the portions to be very generous, especially for the lunch special. Our main criticism/suggestion is that we wish there were more vegetarian options, using tofu/bean curd as the protein, such as "kung pao tofu" or "genersal tsa tofu" etc but that's really it. Be careful, last night, Friday I placed a $60 order. Told it would be ready 20-30 min. I arrived and waited 1 hour and 15 min. I am not sure when it was actually ready since I left. Add milling around outside with several others with out masks and one who was helping sister with Covid, she had also had it, was unnerving. Medically I cannot be mixing because of lung issues. Really great NY Style Chinese. I love that it's sit down as opposed to all the other buffet restaurants around. It's the same menu as any other take-out, BUT there's actually a good-sized, nice dining area. The food is better than all the other take-out we've been to and came out piping hot.
