this food was INEDIBLE. we got chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice, and never in my life have i returned food to a restaurant but my fiancé and i both tried a single piece of chicken and had to spit it out. we went back to the restaurant to ask for a refund and she said she won't give us our money back and she has never had a complaint in 22 years. my fiancé said the chicken tasted boiled and was gray, and she said they STEAM their chicken. i've never heard of steamed teriyaki chicken. it tasted like literal rubber. read more

I want to start this out with saying the only positive thing that came from this experience, Lucky Panda delivered in a pretty awful snow storm which I really appreciated, but this was absolutely the only positive thing that came from this experience. When I opened my door it was like something hit me in the nostrils. The driver had THE WORST B.O. It was like this guy hadn't showered in weeks. After he left I started pulling my food out of the bag, and I noticed my house started smelling like he was still standing right in front of me. I know you're thinking it was the food, but there's a difference between food and b.o, and the food had hardly a scent to smell. It was like someone let off a stink bomb, and he didn't even come in. He was at the door no longer than a minute, just enough time for me to sign my receipt, and grab my food. My entire house literally wreaked. I had to spray a very generous amount of Lysol all over. I swear I am not even slightly over exaggerating. Worst b.o I have ever smelled. On top of it the food was beyond awful. The chicken was rubbery, flavorless, and cold. The hot and sour soup had an unidentifiable weird taste, and the almond chicken looked like cut up frozen chicken nuggets. The best part of the meal was the fortune cookie, and I barely like those. When I called to complain the lady who I spoke to was rude, didn't apologize, didn't offer me a refund, and hung up on me. She was also very rude, and short when I called to order in the first place. This place was also way overly priced to boot. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Worst food ever. Ew. I am only giving this place one star because of the snowy delivery, and because apparently you can't submit without one. UPDATE: So, today, which is the day after I ordered I decided that I was really upset, and wanted to call Lucky Panda back. I asked to speak to a manager because I got the same lady who hung up on me yesterday. She said she was the manager so I asked if I could have the corporate number which she wouldn't give me nor would she let me talk to another manager. She realized that I was the same person that called yesterday, and proceeded to start screaming at me about how I needed to dig through my garbage and pick out the food I threw away if I wanted a refund. More screaming continued that I couldn't really understand aside from telling me that no one has ever complained before about their food and there must be something wrong with me. I asked her to stop screaming at me, but she wouldn't and wouldn't let me talk without cutting me off, and interrupting me. I ended the call with saying I wanted my money back, and I was going to figure something out. I hung up, and went and did some research just to find out the place is privately owned. Later, I looked at my phone to find that this woman had called me twice while I was at work. When I called her back she proceeded screaming then started freaking out about this yelp review telling me that she was going to get a lawyer because I wrote this, and that I was insane for not liking their food, and that I was the only one who complained yesterday. She said they have been open for 14 years and they have never had a customer complaint. I work in food service, and I know for fact that it's impossible to be open for 14 years and never ever have a complaint. She said people get the same food that I ordered everyday and she never gets complaints. She called me a liar saying that the food was good and that the driver didn't smell. I told her I was just at a friends house telling them about my experience, and they were ALL telling me how much the food is low quality. I kept calmly asking her to stop yelling at me, but she wouldn't and she kept repeating to take a picture of the food in the garbage or to pick it out and bring it back, over and over. I kept trying to talk but she kept cutting me off to yell more. I tried explaining to her that it's Monday and the garbage is gone, and that you never tell a customer if they want their money back that they need to dig through the garbage and pick the food out. This is literally the worst food ever, the worst customer service I have every experienced, and all for a flipping ridiculous price. Please everyone who reads this. Save yourself and go somewhere else. I love Chinese food, and she told me I must hate it if I don't like theirs. But no, that's not what it is. It's that the place literally sucks. The food is very low quality, and the lady who I spoke to is literally the rudest most mean person I've ever dealt with when it comes to places I've eaten. I've never had anyone nearly as rude. Who calls back to threaten to call a lawyer because of a customer complaint on yelp? What establishment won't refund a customer when they are unhappy? Decent Chinese Food. There are only a couple of very small tables in the dining area, and the atmosphere does not lend itself to dine-in eating. Definitely get this food to go. The portions are generous and the veggies are good, more than the regular cabbage and carrots, they also give you broccoli and some other stuff. The Lo Mein noodles were a little too mushy for my liking, more like spaghetti noodles than the firmer ones I'm used to. All-in-all a perfectly acceptable place to get some chow. read more

Have always enjoyed their food until today. We ordered 3 meals to b delivered at our job first they were 20 mins late then two of the orders were wrong which we told the delivery guy and he just left didn't apologize or anything. The orders were so wrong we didn't eat them nothing close to what we ordered I just had to call to tell them, I have never ever been talked to so rude before by the lady that answered the phone. I never asked for my money back or anything actually I was far from rude myself but this lady was yelling at ME arguing with me telling me It's my fault. I've worked in customer service for 19 yrs I have never been treated so poorly it's unbelievable. I work at a hotel I will not send our guests that way ever nor will I ever spend my money there again. I would've been content with an im sorry but I didn't get that at all. I had high hopes of finding some good Chinese takeout in Bellingham, and was really hopeful this would be the place! The woman was friendly, it seemed family-owned and operated, and I like that. However, we were disappointed. We ordered the sesame chicken and the Mongolian beef as well as an order of fried dumplings. It was helpful to have the pictures next to the menu, since the menu had no descriptions. I thought the sesame chicken was good, although it had very little sauce, but my husband did not like it. I got all of the Mongolian beef to myself because he thought that was terrible and I thought it was "okay", although it was mostly onions. The dumplings seemed overstuffed (which I wouldn't have thought would be a problem, but it just seemed wrong) and undercooked. While I thought it was just okay, we will not be going back and will continue our hunt for some good Chinese takeout in Bellingham. read more

This place was recommended by a friend. It was a Friday night around 6:30 and there were no customers in there. That should have been my first clue. The kitchen and overall appearance of this place was dirty & depressing. We got the food home and could barely eat it. No flavor, greasy and it did not look appetizing. Imperial Wok in Bothell, WA is hands down the BEST chinese food in washington state. After moving to Bellingham, trying to find a decent chinese joint has been a challenge. We've tried Asian Bistro (yuck-wouldn't even call it 'chinese'), the chinese place on Sunset Drive (yuck) and we tried lucky panda today for lunch and it was really bad. Burnt spring rolls, soggy sweet & sour chicken (even after she made it in front of us), the egg drop soup was all water, the sweet and sour sauce was flavorless and straight from a can, even the rice was bad. We will still drive the 70 miles to Imperial Wok in Bothell for the outstanding service and amazing quality chinese food. We went there at least once a week when we lived in Bothell, and the owners know us by name. You just can't compete with the level of quality. It's amazing. Go there now! read more

I ended up with a migraine and throwing up after my meal. While the food was GREAT while it stayed down. After calling the owner she said "You never asked if we used MSG, so its not my problem." After paying $50 for dinner for two(Very not worth what we paid), and only receiving part of our order, my wife called and asked if they'd forgotten a bag, our fried rice and egg roll were missing the lady that answered started yelling at my wife. After a little while my wife hands the phone to me and the woman started yelling at me. Bleh. Ordered takeout last week and was not at all impressed. Everything was rather bland with small portions of meat. The only dish that had a fair portion of meat (beef and brocoli) was like chewing on pieces of fat. The lady who was working the counter was not very friendly. I will not go here again. My favorite place for Chinese take out in the bellingham.The Mongolian beef ,general tao's chicken and Singapore noodle are all good here.

My Husband and I call this place the "yucky panda". We ordered 4 dishes and three of them tasted exactly the same! I think they are unaware of spices other than MSG and soy sauce. The lo mein was mostly noodles hardly any veggies and maybe three peices of chicken that were rubbery. Plus it wasn't even the right type of noodles! They do use lots of fresh veggies in the other dishes we had but again the meat was rubbery. the fried rice was not fried just rice with some soy sauce added, I can do that! The egg rolls were so gross! Filling was maybe one tablespoon and then there was half an inch of roll all the way around it was so oily and rubbery I couldn't even finish one. The pork used for the Sweet and sour pork was like dry pork loin deep fried it was not right. The sweet and sour sauce was mostly sour and made a burny sensation in your mouth. We threw away everything and had pb&j sandwiches instead. What a waste of $42.00!! I do not recommend this place. read more
