Having been into this shop on multiple occasions I feel fully confident in giving them this rating. The space is small, but well-laid out and very welcoming. While I'm mostly there for the boba, there's no doubt their other offerings are quite nice and varied as well. I'm a sucker for Taro so while that's my "go-to" I've also had wonderful experiences with their other flavors, foremost among them is their horchata which pairs really nicely with the tapioca pearls. The popping boba options are great, too! With a pretty regular selection and a few that come and go (I think) seasonally. Being so far North, there aren't many options for less common treats like this, but still they do everything very well. The employees are very friendly and attentive, a couple of them even recognize me and know my order, which makes it feel just like my favorite spot in Seattle. Normally I would go the extra distance for my boba tea but this time I decided to give this place a shot. I decided to order my favorite flavor. The looks of this place certainly has a nicer feel to the other. Feels more like a gaming center rather than a boba tea shop. The employees seem very nice when ordering and there are a selection of board games to play. The tea I got was a Thai milk tea with boba. When I got to taste the tea I noticed that the straw was too small for the bobas that I got. And for some reason the tea had this weird tobacco aftertaste to it that made me not want the drink with each sip. Now if you like popping bobas then you won't get that here unless you had three stamps on your rewards card. Definitely something to think about for next time I drive by. read more

I got the jumbo sized (32 oz $5.99) original milk tea, this flavor is my go-to and I thought the flavor was well made. Not too sweat and not too bitter from the tea, it was perfectly made! The staff was really kind and nice. They also have games that you could play if you wanted to hang around there. Would come again! I ordered the milk tea upon the owner's recommendation. She was so kind to us while we were there, and I could tell she cares about her business very much. I am from the West coast and am very picky about my milk tea, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the tea (I like mine sweet, if you don't, you may want to order at 75% sweetness). The owner said that they drive to California to buy their tea products to ensure the quality is up to their standard! In all of Tuscon, this is easily the best boba place by far! Living in Southern California in a high asian populated area, the expectations are definitely high for boba, but it shocked me by how delicious the drinks are here! I'm writing this review after trying their various options of milk tea, slushes, snows, even Vietnamese coffee! The boba was consistently chewy and sweetened, the popping boba variety is amazing and delicious, and the jelly has the perfect texture and flavors! Furthermore, there's lot of different snacks to choose from like the classic popcorn chicken, but there's also lots of sweets by the cashier like cakes! Not to mention, even when the shop is packed with customers, the bobaristas work swiftly to get the drinks out ASAP! When you get your drink, there's a variety of games in the shop that makes it the perfect hangout spot for friends and family, as well as large table spaces for studying or working. Yaaaassss!!! This tea shop is a gem! It's tucked back in a corner of a shopping complex so it's easy to miss but make sure you go! They have so many different flavors and add-in options. It's very family friendly and they have plenty of seating. There are games on the tables and it is a place designed for people to relax and enjoy themselves. Excited to try Lucky's Boba Tea due to other shops being closed. Decided to order two tai teas one with extra boba and the one with extra boba tasted terrible! My boyfriends (on left in picture) wasn't bad it was definitely better than mine. Mine (on the right in picture)tasted like they ran out of milk and used dirty dish water to make the drink, I also noticed a color difference in both of them. First things first, Lucky's has OPTIONS. The staff is knowledgeable and can answer basically any question. I'm a hugeeee boba fan and I've been to many boba places around town but nothing beats Lucky's atmosphere and staff. This place will be a little more expensive than a boba chain but that's bc it's LOCALLY OWNED. That being said, prices aren't outrageous and by your third visit, the staff will likely have your order memorized. I visit Lucky's at least twice a week and I'm never disappointed. read more

We are from San Diego we were just passing through Marana for work. My fiance is a HUGE boba fan and coming from San Diego where boba is plentiful, our hopes weren't too high. With all of the hype around Lucky's, I decided to give it a try. I've been there twice now and have had equally bad experiences there. While everyone is nice, the boba itself is terrible. The first time I came here it was awful and tasted like a sponge. I took one sip and didn't drink the rest. The second time I visited, the boba was so hard, my boyfriend and I were spitting it out of our car. It was hard and painful to chew because it was downright as firm as a Tylenol. What kind of boba place does not know how to properly make boba pearls? Do yourself a favor and drive into Tucson for better boba. read more

This place is good. It is pricey though. 6 dollars for large boba drink. Girl at register always asks if she can sign for you if you use your card. That is very annoying. They also offer receipt.
