It was pure luck that I discovered Lucky's Donuts in downtown El Segundo :). I was waiting for a local lunch spot to open up and was on Yelp checking out what other places were nearby when I spotted a picture of a yummy looking cinnamon donut. This led me to discovering Lucky's Donuts. I ended up visiting Lucky's Donuts after lunch and got the following: Bavarian cream donut holes ($1.75 for 6) Tigers Tail donut ($1.80) Butterfly Cinnamon ($2.50). The Bavarian cream donuts were melt in your mouth perfection. They were so soft and fluffy and were definitely quite the treat! I also enjoyed the Tigers Tail donut. It was also very soft. The sweetness was just right. Last but not least was the Butterfly Cinnamon. It was the photo of this delightful donut that got me here in the first place. The yummy picture definitely did not lie because this was such a yummy donut. I loved the hint of cinnamon and was pleasantly surprised to find some apple bits inside. I would definitely get this again. I feel like a lucky foodie to have found Lucky Donuts in downtown El Segundo!

The worst donuts I've had. The customer service from the two owners was so rude as well. They were both snappy and acted like they wanted every customer gone. The environment is very unwelcoming and the place looks outdated. The food is far far below average. The apple fritter tasted like it was frozen and days old. It had a weird after taste like cinnamon, plastic, freezer burn. The regular donuts were bland and felt like they were also a day old and not fresh. Lastly, the prices are really high for no reason. Please avoid this place and go to the other donut shop around the corner.

Good donuts!! Fresh. Cute interior. I got jelly filled rolls, glazed donuts, and strawberry frosted. They have milk and water too. Heck yeah.

This review will be short and sweet! FOOD: Great doughnut variety and everything tasted fresh. AMBIANCE: This is a hole-in-the-wall shop for grab and go. There is no seating. SERVICE: The cashier was pleasant and helped us quickly (no line when I visited around 9am on a weekday) PARKING: It is a small parking lot but a lot of people are going in and out. I will keep coming back to this establishment for the taste and value!

Making donut hole day happen at my work!!!

I have visited this location few times in early mornings. Average quality donuts and extremely poor customer service. Not recommended.

If you like blueberry donuts, get this one. Butter & Salt is the perfect sweet+salty donut with a brown butter glaze. Maple Bacon is one of the few raised yeast donuts and the sweet+savory combo is the best! The Apple Fritter is really good, but only available on Fridays. I highly recommend trying at least one of their seasonal donuts too. They are very unique and delicious. What I recently discovered is that their coffee is quite good and reasonably priced for the Manhattan Beach area. If you still can't decide what to purchase, the staff is always very nice and helpful. They always seem to be in a really good mood. The donuts are presented in nice, branded boxes if you purchase 3 or more. The store is located in the Manhattan Village, right near the entrance, so there is plenty of parking. Definitely check it out!

The flavors are great and really unique which i like. They have a seasonal weekly flavor and the service is always nice. It has plenty of parking and there's seating on the inside. I also really like how there are samples if you go in the morning which has persuaded me to try some new flavors I wouldn't have gotten. Yes its a bit pricey, but definitely worth it as the taste is amazing. My only feedback is on Too Good to Go orders. PLEASE allow there to be a separate non-meat/vegetarian option. Since if you order through the app, sometimes they may have a maple bacon donut which I don't eat meat so anything that donut is touching I also throw out which is a waste.

You doughnut know how much I love croissants!…read more King's Donuts of Hawthorne is my home for the flakey, buttery heaven known as a croissant! Yes, their title does lead one to the shop for their awesome donuts but, for my French pastry loving heart, it's the croissants that bring me back again and again. Both plain AND stuffed croissants are located at this shop, with plain being my go-to favorite. The crescent-shaped, golden-brown pastry has so many delicate layers of bread and butter that I find myself licking my fingers as to not miss a single crumb. They open at 5am which allows me to pick up goodies while they are still warm on my way to run around town. The cost is also lower than several other local spots, making this a double win in my opinion. Staff is kind and dedicated to making your visit an enjoyable one. Greeting customers with a friendly smile seems to always be on the menu! Ambiance is that of a mom & pop bakery which makes me feel welcome at any point in the day. Handicap parking is located just outside the front door, but with a smaller, more limited parking lot. The front door is left open most mornings, allowing for morning bakery smells & aromas to waft through the air. This also helps those who may have trouble opening a heavy door.

After I sat down, ate, and finished, I asked for my receipt -- and they said they couldn't print it anymore, even though it had only been a few minutes since the purchase. That's completely unacceptable. I also asked the person who made my croissant why there was only one thin slice of cheese and one thin slice of ham, and they told me it's because the owner instructs them to make it that way. That's ridiculous. For reference, I usually go to Yum Yum Donuts (Winchell's Donut House in Redondo Beach) -- a very similar type of shop, but their croissants are delicious, full, and generous. I always ask them to make mine fresh, not one of those pre-made ones sitting in the display. They cut the croissant, add the deli slices, and make it right there -- and it's always worth it. If they do this to 70 customers a day, that's $70 every single day, or about $2,100 a month. That's not a mistake -- that's stealing. I decided to try Wancho's for the first time today, and honestly... never again. This place needs to learn what honesty and quality mean. Customers deserve fair change and decent food, not to be shorted in both.
