Well, I have definitely come here before to get a assorted dozen, this most recent time I came in was to grab food with protein because I was going to a long event and didn't know when the next time I would eat. They had so many amazing options with eggs from breakfast burritos to breakfast sandwiches. I went with a croissant with egg, ham, sausage, and cheese and this is such a hearty belly warming sandwich that totally hit the spot! Plus, I paired it with a small black coffee and I was fueled up for hours. Apparently there is a special that if I ordered a donut as well it saved a little I think. so I let her pick whichever one she wanted and she gave me a long vanilla frosted bar. Once she threw in a few extra donut holes, I swore my allegiance to return. As I was checking out, I saw that they do have some plant based food options, so I will definitely be back to try those. Name says it all. When I first started working in LA about 10 years ago I couldn't believe how many donut shops there were all over the place. And now that I've lived here for a few years, I realize there's a lot of conversations about favorite donuts. I stopped here today in between work stops, And was delighted to find out that they had cronuts. I had never had one and I didn't even know they existed on the West Coast. It's delightful. Really flaky and nice. I could see how they could become very addictive. Besides cronuts and donuts they have specialty donuts, Breakfast sandwiches, Some other baked goods, Really great coffee, Soft drinks, I'm even some vegan specials. Service is very fast and very friendly. And the pricing is really great for LA. You can get a coffee and a regular donut for about 5 bucks. Specialty donuts and cronuts are more. But not much more. My dad brought a box of 1 DZ donuts home and they were pretty delicious! I only gave 3 stars, because I don't know about the parking, service, and wait. The price was just okay. I ordered a #3 and #5 and they got my #3 wrong then took back my #5 and it was a slight hot mess but I honestly didn't mind. There was a lady in the front and another lady in the back making the food and omg when I ate it I was like OK I FORGIVE cause the food was so bomb and the ladies were nice. I am so glad I dropped by this place. Best Donuts is located in the Lazy Acres shopping center next to Mama D's. I was curious and tried their glazed raised donut, a crumb powdered sugar cake, a cinnamon sugar, chocolate, and matcha mochi donuts. The customer service was great and the cashier was very friendly. She said they are open 24 hours from Monday through Thursday. The glazed donut was average and not very chewy. The crumb powdered sugar cake was a little dry. I like cake donuts that taste like cake, and this was not it. However, I did find my favorite MOCHI DONUTS here, and they are the best!! They are $3 each. You have definitely got to come here to try them, and you will be addicted! I can't wait to come back. The mochi donuts are on the smaller side and do not look very appealing, but they are incredibly chewy and not greasy at all. My favorite shop for mochi donuts is Fill Bake Shop in Costa Mesa... but this place is truly the best for mochi donuts. They also sell croissants, burritos, and a variety of other items. I have to give it to Best Donuts for being open 24 hours. Not ever in my time that I've lived in the South Bay had I wanted donuts at non-morning hours but my boyfriend was craving donuts at 10pm and luckily this place was it. I'm used to donut shops in other rough neighborhoods so I did not expect much customer service as I think the shop owners would most likely be there in the morning. We walked in, no one at the counter and out comes a guy with a Steelers hat - no proper greeting. Which, hey, it's ok! I'm not there to make friends but it was out first time here and we wanted some donuts. We ordered a dozen donut balls and two chocolate twists. My boyfriend wanted to see if they had cronuts and he asked the guy and he looked at him and did not respond. I pointed at the big Cronuts poster behind him and he looked down, moved the 2 donuts that were in the cronuts section into a different section of the donuts available and said, "We sold out." While my boyfriend was deciding what else we wanted, the employee made an annoyed noise, placed his togs down uptop the display, and walked in the back of the shop. I looked at my boyfriend befuddled and tried to just get out of there. The guy made us feel like we were inconveniencing HIM because we wanted to buy donuts. I tried to make reason of it, he could have been prepping the dough in the back, he wasn't expecting anyone, etc. but the more I think about it, the more bothered I am by this interaction. When he came back out, we just wrapped up our order and didn't want to get anything else because he came off as if we were inconveniencing him. The shop was well lit - the upper sign was not on so we saw the neon sign on the window to ensure the store was open. Anyways, I appreciate this business for staying open 24/7 but the customer service aspect of it was not even 1 stars worth. The plain glaze are my go-to but only because the chocolate ones (including the donut holes) had that weird old oil aftertaste on my most recent visit (10/11/20). Service is nice. Fast. Patient with indecisive kiddos. Affordable place considering that it is after all a heavily sought after beach town with plenty of pretentious attitudes. Free parking in a shared lot. I was looking for mochi donuts but not from the typical chain mochi donut place and close to Hermosa Beach. Read reviews saying that this place had good ones so I decided to try it. I tried the regular glazed, blueberry, and vanilla. My favorite was the vanilla, and my friend really liked the glazed. The blueberry was good too, but the others were better. What really made the mochi donuts here great Was the texture and how well it held up after a few hours. It was just the right mochi texture without it being rubbery. I also got a breakfast sandwich from here and it was delicious. The next day, I tried the cronut, and it was flaky, just like it should be. There was only one flavor, glazed, but it was just as good as the original cronut in NYC'. Minus the long line and high price. i've lived here for almost 2 decades, and I can't believe I'm only discovering this place. Highly recommend! read more

4 amazing flavors of donut holes!!! Used to pick up the munchkins at Dunkin but these are better, fresher and bigger! 60 donut holes for $13! I think Dunkin is &15 for 50.
