This park offers tennis courts, man made track, a baseball field (with enough grass space for football and other activities), a playground, mini-library, and a covered picnic area. There is a good bit of free parking on the street, directly in front of the park. There is also a parking lot next to the community center if the street spots are taken. I'm not sure about during the week, but be sure to use the restroom BEFORE coming to this park on the weekend. I'm not sure if there's a restroom in the community center, but if there is, it's closed and there's no restroom available outside, unless you walk into the establishments across the street. We've been coming out to celebrate a friend's birthday here for three years in a row and it gets better every year.

This park is ruled by your four legged buddies. We live right behind (or in front of, depending on your perspective) the park, and on a daily basis, at all hours of the day, dogs and owners can be seen running about. In addition to pet wonderland, sports of all kinds are played here, from softball to flag football. At the edges of the park at Peachtree Hills avenue, there's a couple of tennis courts, and to the left, there's also a little rec center. This is a park that thrives on activity If you're not really into the sports options or four legged friends, there is a community garden, also along Peachtree hills ave, and if you have children, they also have benefit at this park with a children's play area, swing sets and the like. What I like about the park is the very active community behind it with the friends of Peachtree hills park. From community BBQs to goat petting, and all things in between. Parking has never been an issue with us, because we literally just walk to the park from our apartment, but there is street parking available, and a very small lot. There is a small trail that meanders over and along a small creek. While the park trail officially continues on in a loop, it unofficially branches off near the fence and goes onto the property of a nearby apartment. I like this park, get tremendous value out of it with dog watching, and come here whenever I can. Is it worth driving out of the way to visit this park? Nope, I don't think so, but if you live closeish, I think this may be a good place for you to spend a weekend.

Highlights of this park are public restrooms, dogs are allowed and picnic tables available. I go here for our sand volleyball tounaments or open plays. The amenities are excellent, including a covered picnic area and two well-maintained sand beach volleyball courts, often used by friendly and active groups from Meetup. Roswell has done a great job with park development. I would highly recommend to visit. The surrounding area is very walkable, with scenic paths along the river that make it a worthwhile stop for anyone visiting and looking for a relaxing stroll. Whether you're here to play, picnic, or just enjoy the peaceful setting, this park delivers. Wonderful place to kayak or tubing. Plenty of parking and I can go in either direction for a long run. Some days parking is challenging to try to car pool or use uber. I love to stretch afterwards by the water and watch the row teams go by. Although the park closes after sunset but I planning to come here for Stargazing.

We took our dog and had a wonderful time! The paths are really wide and paved, well marked and there's a stunning "natural" playground and lots of green space. So much to see and we appreciated the emergency posts scattered throughout the paths, which made us feel more confident in being alone in such a big city.

Dresden Park has reopened after a few years of renovation and even though I hadn't been here before…read morethat, I have to believe that it's back and better than ever. There's now a dog park which is super convenient for us on days that we don't feel like driving the additional 10 minutes to Brookhaven Park. The only downside is the parking... on a busy Sunday midday on a temperate winters' day all of the fields, tennis courts, playground, etc. were in full use. We had to park in the neighborhood and do a short walk, but at least there was a sidewalk. The nearby street that connects Dresden to Buford Highway had clearly posted No Parking signs. The dog park is a short walk from the parking lot. The paths around the park were all recently paved. There are divided sections for large and small dogs (30 lbs and under). While it isn't nearly as big as Brookhaven, and doesn't have grass (it's mostly concrete, soft mulch, and pine straw), it's still enough room for dogs to run and play. There's a little tunnel/obstacle, a few metal benches to sit on, and a really nice sun shade that will be perfect for summer or rain, and a drinking fountain. Now it's time to get more dogs there! The concession stand was also open today.

PCG is full of amenities that you wouldn't expect scattered throughout the trail. There's a soccer field (open green space), slides for kids, hammocks, swinging benches, regular benches, and easy access to the emergency services if necessary. I was there for a morning walk and there really wasn't much foot traffic. It's generally very peaceful and full of pleasant pedestrians, some who live in the apartments along the trail and others who drove into the three main trailheads. The design of the trail was really well-done and thoughtful of all potential pedestrians, pups included. Be mindful that there isn't a public bathroom available as of yet.

I'm new to the area and I go here to play basketball. There are indoor and outdoor courts, and can…read moreget busy at times. The indoor courts cost $2 to go in when theres open gym. The gym is great, great backboards, and would be perfect if it wasn't for the floors. It's hard to plant or change direction/do any type of movement without having your feet slip, so this feels really dangerous at times if you're trying to play a game. I would recommend just shooting around or playing very casually if playing indoors. There are 2 outdoor full courts with 10' rims on one end and about 9'6" on the other end. These courts would have also been perfect if it wasn't for the short hoops at one end. I'm really not sure why it was made this way, but I usually go here to play halfcourt. Other than that, there are really good single rims and above average backboards (especially for an outdoor court). The flooring here is nothing like I have ever seen before and it grips really well! It also feels a little easier on the knees than a traditional outdoor court. On a nice day it can get REALLY packed so you might have to wait for a court or try to play pick-up. There are also 2 public tennis courts in the area that can also get busy. They are really well maintained, but it can also get busy on a nice day!

Because I couldn't find any open parking spaces and people were lined up outside the recreation center, I ended up leaving to go to another polling place. Lynwood Park is on Osborne Road, and you either know exactly where it is, or just accidentally stumble upon it because you're completely lost. It's definitely in an out of the way location, but that's what makes it nice. The second time I came to this park, it was to practice my tennis serves. The park has two tennis courts that are well maintained, especially for being in a public park. The courts are first-come, first served. Tennis players are generally polite and will not hog the tennis courts. While I was there for a little over an hour, I noticed that there were playground equipment for kids to climb on, a covered picnic area with tables, two full sized basketball courts, a swimming pool and a multi-use grass field. I didn't go into the recreation center, so I have no idea what's in it. I haven't been to Lynwood Park often enough to get a better feel of the vibe, but I'm sure I'd be using most of the facilities constantly if I lived nearby. My picture didn't actually do any justice to the appearance of the park because the park looks much nicer in person. Drop me a note if you want to hit some tennis balls with me!

There are also gaggles of geese who frequent this spot and one of them has a broken beak. If you see him, please feed him for me and tell him I said hello! Not sure if there's another entrance I missed, the park looked fairly large on the map but I walked around the area by the pool and didn't find much structure. The trails I did come across didn't seem very well maintained and I honestly felt uncomfortable being out there alone while halfway through a pregnancy, too many fallen branches, stumps, steep inclines and very, very narrow passageways. The pool itself looks a bit gross, dirty and uncovered with broken cement and dirt around from some sort of construction or renovation. They are building a playground at another far end of the park, so maybe it'll be in better shape one day.. but there's not much to it now.

Facilities Include: walking trails (that connect to the Mid city district) dog park a full-size adult softball field tee-ball field soccer field multi-purpose field two tennis court outdoor basketball court Our playground facilities are ADA accessible playgrounds. 3,500 square foot community building Keswick is a true neighborhood park, because we visited the entryway at the park sign and only saw a couple of fields, walking trial and a playground. It wasn't until we continued driving did we see the park expanding and reaching into different corners of the neighborhood. If I lived in the area i'd visit this park daily, and the fact that you can take a trail to the city is kinda awesome. Clean park with lots to do as well as a community building with restrooms makes Keswick Park a neighborhood park hidden to all but those who live here. Pay this hidden gem a visit.
