The entrance to the Cielo Farms had white double barnyard doors and a high squared archway bearing the Cielo Farms name which was impressive but common in Southwest Ranches. Drove down the long black top road with beautiful white dual pagoda light fixtures mounted on cast aluminum posts on both sides. There was a kids event going on at the center of the nursery with a bunch of vehicles parked in the vacant grassy field. The plant nursery was strictly on an appointment basis only. This nursery rents out the 5 acre area for venues.

Today, the Town of SW Ranches hosted the annual SO FLO Chili Fest and Car Show with several food trucks, petting zoo and trinket booths. The $10.00 chili tasting and voting fee is a donation toward the SW Ranches Parks Foundation. I entered my famous chili properly named "Chili Master" which is a sweet & spicy blend. I proudly defended my 3x championship titles by easily sweeping the event to win another 1st place trophy.

However, they do have other Haitian food as well. It's every 3rd Friday. The place is pretty big and decorated simply and nicely. The large bathroom was clean. There's even a VIP section in which someone was celebrating a bday. The Bouyon was good. Not too salty. But, I have tasted better. The service was good and the servers polite. There was a good crowd. However, the DJ wasn't good. He would stop between songs instead of mixing them one into the other. Or after a really good song he'd play something slow. Many times the crowd expressed their displeasure. Would I go back? Absolutely! I've heard different DJs go there and it's awesome. Next time I'm in town I will try to go back.
