Escape Your Nightmares was a more interactive game experience which we prefer over rooms with mainly locks! Get ready for some jump scares though! Polly's Problematic Predicament had a lot of locks, but also a number of interactive games so it was a good balance. This is a room for open-minded people. It's full of toys, but not the kind that kids play with All of the rooms are fun, challenging but not impossibly difficult. The game masters are all friendly and helpful when you need them!

All of the different escapes are multi-room and have long entertainment. Other than that the employees are nice and the owner is too. Very friendly. I'd want to go there at least 1,000 times. They do birthday parties and you can rent rooms and make reservations without having to work together with strangers, very convenient. I had 2 birthday parties there. Great for children and if you want to eat cake there they have plenty of chairs and tables available for the children or adults, pretty sure they are free. Thank you.

The e-mails continued even beyond normal business hours to ensure we walked away as satisfied customers. The refund was returned the very next day. Even with the way things went on the premises in person, we are more than satisfied with their effort to make it right. Thank you, Escapology. We called on a Monday afternoon to inquire about availability, we were told they had openings and she would take our info over the phone and charge us for one person to hold a spot for us as we were twenty minutes away. When we asked about parking, the person on the phone instructed us that there was a parking garage on Cortez St, but she failed to mention that we could get parking validated by them for $15 and not have to pay the $21 parking fee. We only learned about the parking validation from the sign on the entry desk after we had already paid for parking in the garage around the block and we weren't going back down there to haggle for the $6 savings. There is also a sign as you enter the building that says to ask about the walk in discount. We asked about the discount four separate times, as we had two people paying for families, and each time Myesa ignored the question. It wasn't until she was asking for my payment that I stated she was ignoring our question and she told us we couldn't get the walk in discount because we called first. We asked how much the discount would have been and she said 20%, so with our group total of $280 that would have saved us $56 dollars. Note: it doesn't have any terms or conditions for the discount listed on the sign. After we stated it would have been nice to know that on the phone as well, Myesa was a bit smug, but showed us to our room. There are no bathrooms for paying customers, you must go downstairs one level to use the public restroom. For the price you pay at this location, which is the most expensive escape room we've ever done, for not any better quality or courteous staff, we won't be returning. The only bonus about this escape room is that it is right on the beach and close to many other restaurants and things to see and do. Find another escape room where they actually care about the customer.

I did some research and the location and reviews of Boxroom led me to try it. We're all so glad we did. For beginners and kids they recommended the Merlin Room - it's still challenging! Kids still need to go with adults and you probably cannot solo this one - it really encourages teamwork. This made for great, memorable family time and even team building! I loved the theme, It's hard to talk about it too much without giving away surprises, but I can safely say that you won't be disappointed. The Merlin room is filled with mystery, magic, and the staff is so friendly and good, they made for a great experience. A couple of times we needed just a slight nudge or clue, and they gave exactly that, it was perfect and kept us engaged. We finished the room and felt so great, it was an immersive experience and my stepson already wants to come back next weekend to do the Pirates Room. We'll definitely be back. There's parking available on the street, it's on Hollywood Boulevard, so there's plenty to walk around and enjoy before or after your Escape Room experience - lots of nice restaurants there too. It's also about a 10 minute drive from Hollywood Beach. Great place!

Thankfully this location provides you with a heavy duty, large sized flashlight to use! I wish that the rooms were illuminated at least a bit more so that you can see most things without using a flashlight. Process to get hints is not very accessible. There is one screen in the main room that will populate written hints, but not said aloud. There aren't any hint buttons in any other room so you have to wave your arms to signal the game master and wait for the clue to show on the screen. Decor and props kinda date could use an update. Axe throwing and escape rooms are located on the second floor. No elevator available. Our game host Mason was very nice! Will be back to check out another room!
