On the other hand, this place is also a little more high end compared to your old fashion bowling/dive bar places. The location was very easy to find. We used Google Navigation and it lead us directly to the place. If you miss the entrance, it might be a little annoying to backtrack but no big issues. Parking was no issues and it is very big compared to the size of the building. We showed up on a busy Wednesday where it is penny pins so you only pay a penny per pin you knock down. Essentially...the worst you are, the cheaper your game will be. Inside the building is very nice and clean. There are two entrances..one is a "restaurant" and the other is the decent sized arcade and bowling. There is a self serving beer tap. And they do serve food. They do a little star less due to the prices of the food as well. It is better than your traditional bar/bowling food but it is a little more expensive. Also, I do enjoy the service of the self serving beer tap. They had a lot of selections of beer, 1-2 seltzers, 1 cider and ~5 wine selection. Also, they do have a "limit" of ~32 oz where the bartender can allow you or less depending on how you act. I do appreciate that so while you can drink feely, no one is getting drunk. I think we were paying ~.60 cents an oz and it does tell you how much your drink will cost as you are pouring. Also, they do have a small water station will is greatly appreciated. The arcade is decently sized. They do have a lot of selections of games but it is not a place where I would go just for the arcade. The size is good for after bowling or while you are waiting for your lane. Overall, I am very impressed with this location. Food, self serving beer tap, and arcades... I am fan of Twisted Pins and I would be back in the future.

Went here recently. It's been many years since I've been there and the whole place has been…read moremodernized. They changed names they've got all new lanes, got a pro shop, they got all sorts of crane games and video games etc. I did not bowl, but my kids all bowled with their cousins. What I didn't like, was we got there at 245 and the kids wanted to bowl for an hour, 3 games and there was really nobody on the main lanes except two of the lanes which were already in use and they didn't want to rent lanes to my kids because they said the Plainfield teachers group is coming in. And I'm sure they wouldn't be there till 4 o'clock but this is it like at 2:30 2:45 and so they made my kids rent a lane which cost more dollars an hour and the shoes were more and they had to rent a lane in the VIP section which had colored lights and video on the wall and because they're worried about taking care of this teachers group and school wasn't even close to being over yet but they just wanted to make money on whoever was there. So we got stiffed by having to pay a lot higher prices and I didn't like that. So of course my wife liked the fact that they had a pour your own beer area. With like 20 different beers, some wines, some seltzers etc. etc. And you give them your card upfront they give you a separate card which you wave over the selection that you want , and then it weighs by the ounce how much it pours for you and then charges you a fee. It was in the afternoon and I didn't feel like drinking although the wife drank with my nephew. That was a good thing but I'm really only gonna give them two & 1/2 stars because they were obviously didn't want to rent to us so they gave us the expensive lanes. I just didn't like the service so at our expense they made extra money which was wrong. I personally wouldn't go back.

Also…read moregreat for families just emphasizing adult fun bc it's so difficult to find anything like this! They're so much more than an arcade. Though it is pretty awesome with carnival games, old school and new age games, virtual reality games / motorcycles / cars, etc. There is a challenging, exiting go/cart track, huge slides, basketball and other courts, a maze with laser tag, and so much more. My favorites are the rides. They have a spinning, fast roller coaster. As well as an exciting giant drop that goes up and down instead of just one drop. My other favorite is the mini golf courses! Like the rides, they have two courses which are both so fun and completely different. One course is in the center of everything (similar to an outdoor course). The other course is in a separate area and is glow in the dark, which is always a fun change in my opinion. They have a full bar. Food is also served though unsure if it's plates, apps, tapas, or what exactly is served. Employees genuinely appear happy and are so polite, friendly, and considerate. We have already been three times in around 6-7 weeks so safe to say it's my new favorite spot. You know I'll be back and highly recommend to all ages and relationships looking for something fun and unique to do!

At least none of the men's size 10.5 do. On another note, the food here is pretty tasty, and the beer is very affordable. On the night I was here they had 16oz Old Styles for $2.50. Maybe I'm just used to the outrageous prices of the Bay Area, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a bill of $10 for the beers that accompanied my night of bowling. Also no one here looked at me weird when I bowled with the neon pink balls that I believe were crafted for children and weigh roughly 8lbs. So add judgement free to the list of 'pros' as well! Overall great place to kick back and have a good time with some friends while enjoying some favorably priced drinks. There are leagues here if you're into that sort of thing, but as you've probably already surmised from my review, I'm not quite at that level. But if you are, then check it out!

I informed them kindly that I don't need to rent shoes because as anyone could see I have my own. They told me I still had to pay for the shoes because they already marked everyone down as renting shoes. I asked if they could redo the payment so I wouldn't have to pay for shoes I wasn't using but apparently that was to much to ask for and I was FORCED to pay for them. I was given a card for free rental shoes for next time but I have own so it is completely useless to me. I should have only paid $10 that day but I paid $15 for non existent shoes. Do better training your employee.

The game floors were not over crowded and it wasn't too overwhelming inside. Lots of game options for any age or experience. The food was expensive for what it was. I have had worse, but the over priced for bowling alley items. Will give them points for having old fashioned nacho cheese from the machine and not the cups. The burgers were just ok. I feel like they could make a lot of improvements if they were not trying to be too many things. Are you a bowling alley? Are you a Japanese style arcade? Still more fun than DnB's.

Round1 does feel like how I remember DnB and GameWorks, and others...used to be when I grew up. And while there are a lot of arcades here, I also felt a little ripped off leaving the store. The prices for the games are a little high. My wife and I got a card for $120 which was the highest amount we saw at the card machine. There are a lot of claw machines here but the chances of winning are very low. I am normally very good at these machines, but I lost a lot on them. Every single machine, the claw would release the toy while it is being transported to the drop zone. And I have a closet full of stuffed animals from claw machines. The arcade selections were very impressive. However, a lot of the arcade machines were not working either. If they were, there was a chance it would not pay you out either. Downstairs has a bowling area. I did not check this location out. However, the bathrooms were filthy despite being open for a few hours. After playing for ~2 hours, our shared card was empty. And we barely accumulated any tickets. Normally, at other arcade places, we would have plenty of tickets. I feel like the games are against you at this store. There was nothing we could find for the tickets we won. In the end, I am very iffy if I would return here. The games all felt a little scammy. And the odds are in favor of the store and not the player. It's not a good system in the long run.

They said it had no balance, but i checked on the website and it stated I had the full balance. I had even tried to use it for bowling, but since i booked online i had to pay in full online with my credit card. They couldn't reverse the charge and charge my gift card instead. And now for the worst part, if you reserve online you could be paying 2x or more to bowl. I was told the cost per game was ~$8.50 a person per game. That is the price when you walk in without a reservation. I reserved for 10 people online at $35 a person. That is for two hours of play per person. They gave us two lanes. If i were to have had 3 people, it's still $35 a person for two hours. You literally get ripped off the more people you have. And if it's not enough for the crazy mark up with reserving online, they also charge you a $22 reservation fee to book online. And finally, if you book online you have to pay for shoes for everyone. We only needed 5 shoes but paid for 10. I figured they could refund some money back, but nope they just gave me additional credits to use for food. And so since my toddler typically eats burgers or pizza when bowling, it was even harder to use it. I know it's not the fault of the workers there, it's just corporate policy, but if you can I would 100% avoid this place because of their pricing structure.
