She's the kind of bartender who remembers your drink, actually listens when you talk, and somehow makes the entire place feel like your local spot - even if it's your first time there. She was friendly, fast, and genuinely fun to talk to. You can tell she loves what she does, and it completely changes the vibe. Drinks were perfect, service was on point, and Amanda made the night way better than we expected. Highly recommend Bottles - but especially recommend Amanda. She's the reason I'll be back. read more

Imagine your bar is packed because a band is playing in your parking lot and a fundraiser is doing a pub crawl in the town and your bartenders and their friends are harassing patrons and so irritated because they are busy. I've never experienced anything like this. I went in with kindness and was immediately given a nasty attitude. Someone lied about being the owner and I have them on video and then proceeded to harass me as I was trying to tell them that their bartender and their friends were harassing me and theier so-called bouncer put their hands on us while another bartender was trying to give us drinks on the house for being so inappropriately treated. The Lemont police department even confirmed that there was problem at this establishment but there was nothing they can do and apologize to us for the mistreatment. read more

Parking can be a hassle to get here but once you're inside, it's a great place to come in, relax and have a fun time. Me and my wife we're here to visit a few colleagues for a get together and had a fun time here. It's pretty loud on the weekend. They even had a DJ. I give this place props for having at least 5 selections to choose from of Hard Cider options. Prices are a bit high but the atmosphere is worth is experiencing. Friendly staff! I enjoy going to Bottles, as it allows all my friends the option to venture to Pollyanna Brewing next door or grab beer/seltzer/wine on site. We tend to meet in the outdoor seating to enjoy our drinks and a pizza together. Pretty good wine and canned drink selection, and the price across the board is pretty reasonable. A bottle of Resiling is about $20. That's reasonable for a few friends on a night out. read more

Do not waste your time at this bar unless you want to be greeted by the most unprofessional and rude bartender, Amanda. We arrived with a group and were immediately told to leave for no reason. There was no manager or security around to address her awful behavior. It's concerning to see employees here just do whatever they want considering how intoxicated they looked. We tried to contact the manager several times afterwards but received no response. As new residents, we will not be coming back and will be sure to warn others about this appalling experience. read more

Real chill vibe with an awesome staff. It's also super close to just about everything - incredibly convenient for downtown area. They also sell booze you can bring home with you, so if you're only wanting to grab just one obligatory drink with friends then maybe a sixer to bring home to share with your partner or self or friends, whatever - they've got you covered! They have outdoor spots as well and the music is right up our alley, so there's really nothing negative I could come up with. read more

Not one to ever write a bad review but truly had a horrible experience at this place. Bartender was incredibly rude upon entry, didn't make the correct drink for me and then overheard her boasting to another staff member about making the incorrect drink. Patrons were clearly over-served to the point where we left because of an offensive conversation between patron and bartender regarding our party. Pro tip when working in the service industry bartenders - respect boundaries, treat people with kindness, and withhold the integrity of your job! We came in from out of town and heard great things about this place, but we're incredibly disappointed that this was our experience and will most definitely not be coming back. Learn how to make a Midori sour and treat paying customers with kindness and respect. And to the owners, I highly recommend having a conversation about boundaries with your bartenders. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I went in. What I got was a great surprise. It's a laid-back place to buy a beer (huge selection) and just hang out. The guy working the front desk was a nice guy as well. Not overcrowded and cool tunes. While I was there, I dropped a $20 into the video poker and turned it into $100. Bottles is awesome. There aren't many places that you have such a choice of beverages, in such a low-pressure atmosphere. You are free to browse as much as you want, and, hey, if you're me, you just choose things that have the prettiest labels. :) The people working here are always friendly, and for the last few months they have had $1 shots! Not always amazing stuff, but for awhile they had Courvoisier. That was amazing. They have video poker and bands on the weekend. The decor is stylish and makes you want to stick around for ONE MORE DRINK. Which usually turns into at least two more. Bottles is a great destination for drinking in downtown Lemont. read more

I went to their Beer Tasting today, they charged $ 10.00 dollars for "four tastings of warm beer served to you in a 1/2 filled shot glass." Really !!!. RIP OFF for a sip of warm beer and if you wanted to purcase a "full beer" you were pointed to their coolers, when I asked "where would one of the 4 beers I tasted be located. I got a "shrug" and was told by 3 different bartenders , I do not know , just look for it in the 3 coolers ????? With a line a people trying to search for their beer, To Andrea or Andre " the owner as I was told by a bartender, get help that know's your product Shame on you for such poor customer service, in my opinion ! read more

Fantastic liquor store lounge ! But, as Ruthie H. stated, its so much more. The staff was extremely helpful and the environment is unique, both inside and out. It's a very casual atmosphere with rustic benches in the interior and bistro tables outside. The strip of stores near their location make the area a destination. We LOVE Bottles! I returned to bottles after hearing that they expanded to include a place for people to hang out. This was my go to liquor store if I was in the downtown area or if I was in the mood for a nice craft beer. We decided to check out the new location after dinner one night and fell in love with the place. We hand picked a bottle of Arrogant Bastard, checked out, and sat in a super comfy leather couch in the corner. There was a couple playing video poker and a couple dudes watching sports on TV. I almost immediately decided that I was going to go get a card game. We were able to quietly enjoy conversation, a few hands of Skip-Bo, a few bottles of craft beer, all in the comfort of a living room environment. The gentleman working that night was super friendly and helpful. He also had good taste in music, it was his iPod that was hooked up all night. I was so grateful to not have to listen to '80s glam rock, or country. It was the perfect end to a perfect evening. We've returned several times since and have even included it as a stop on downtown Lemont pub crawls. Bottles sells bottles of wine, booze, and beer by the pack or single bottles. You choose, check out with the cashier, and hang out (or leave). It's not a bar, but it's an awesome place to relax. read more

This past weekend I was in Chicago visiting some family and my cousins took me on a pub crawl with them in downtown Lemont for St. Patrick's Day. Our meeting spot, or home base, was Bottles. It's not a big place, but it was really nice inside. The whole back wall were coolers of beer, and you could purchase individual bottles of beer. They also had a whole wall and rows of wine. My FAVORITE find though here was the alcohol infused whip cream. YES you read that right, alcohol infused whip cream!! I live in Pittsburgh, and you cannot get this here yet. I grabbed a couple of bottles and I cannot wait to share it with all of my friends. I hope to visit this spot when I'm back in town for a visit - great place for a low-key bottle of beer, glass of wine, or a pre-game before hitting some other spots in the area. read more

This place is sweet. Not really a bar but not really a liquor store. They sell individual bottles of beer or create your own 6 packs. I'm not a wine person but they have a large selection. this bar is more like a home than a place to forget your worries at and regret every decision you made the day after. everyone who works there is above friendly and VERY knowledgable about their product. if you like a certain drink that they don't have, they will recommend something akin to or better than what you wanted. there's no food but they do offer snacks, and you can order any delivery there no problem. this is definitely worth checking out, and Tom is definitely worth talking to. read more

Bottles is a very cool little place. Like others have mentioned its a liquor store/lounge. They just expanded and have a bunch more tables and couches. But they have a great selection of craft brew. The prices are great with beer from 2.50-4.00 max. It is a very laid back place, so its a great way to off a night with quality beer and then move on to some of the more rowdy places. They also have some nice cigars that you can enjoy outside with your drink. I love this place as they can order beer for me as well. The only thing that could push it to 6 stars is they dont have any draft beer. But the quantity and quality of the bottles they do have still get it to a 5 for me. read more
