    Chicken tacos with shredded cabbage
    Tecora J.

Let me start with the positive and share that the view is amazing and our waiter was very nice. Sadly I now have nothing else nice to say. We ordered chicken and shrimp tacos and it took about 45 minutes for them to arrive and when they did arrive they were lukewarm. At this point we were very hungry and didn't want to risk sending food back and waiting another 45 minutes. I was a bit confused on why the food took so long as it was literally meat and cabbage with a side of pico de Gallo. I was extremely disappointed

Whenever you are visiting Rocky Point and thinking of where to eat at fisherman port , Lucky's is the traditional spot for us to have dinner! There menu has from seafood to pizza! I always go for the fried large fish. I love how the fish is straight from the local water in the Gulf of Mexico(Sea of Cortez). The fresh just out of the water fish is amazing and very affordable compared to seafood in the US. I do recommend sitting on the second floor in there large patio area overlooking the beach! Service was outstanding ! See you soon!

    Fish platter-half eaten

Was looking so forward to coming here- from all the billboards and signage- stepped in for early dinner- had a shrimp taco to start...it was delicious, ordered the fish platters. Was so disappointed! It was dry as hell, tasted like it was from the freezer section of my local grocery store, generic brand. The baked potatoes were half back just smothered in butter so you couldn't tell that they were half cooked- and cold in the middle! The only good tasting item on this plate was the steamed vegetables that I dipped in the mountain of butter. They spent their budget on build boards and certainly not in the fish. Waiter was nice, there were only us three in the place with the exception of who ever was reheating fish and pulling half baked potatoes out of the fridge

Great views, good service typical bar food right in the center of the malecon. The location in the views are what really makes this place.

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. Hubby got a Michelada & added a shot of Tito's since there was no alcohol in the tomato juice part of the drink. He said it was really good. My sangria was good. It's made with pineapple juice. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. The refried beans were excellent! I don't know what they do, but the texture & flavor was the best we have ever had. I loved them. We will definitely make this place are go to when we come down again. Please note tips are cash only in case you don't carry cash!

Our service was excellent: timely and efficient. The chef/cook must have prepared all the courses on-site because everything was prepared and cooked perfectly, and the plates reflected the expertise. $39 for the meal before the tip. As mentioned in a prior post, the restaurant is on Calle 13 across the the Hotel Señorial. After having driven past this block at least a hundred times, I'm amazed we just now tried this restaurant. We'll be back, repeatedly.

We ordered the Vampiro with papas (285 pesos), a carne asada taco (40 pesos), and a quesadilla with carne (70 pesos) and 2, 12-ounce Mexican Cokes (60 pesos). Altogether, we spent $22.22 for lunch. We noticed on this trip that Rocky Point prices were very similar to what we were spending in the United States. This place is very clean and we sat at the inside dining. Note: they only take cash here, DO NOT order assuming you can use a debit card. They are generous with the topping tray, which includes: lettuce, 2 salsa, an avocado sauce, limes, and cucumbers. To be honest, these are large portions and we would have been full with just the Vampiro with potatoes. The Cokes with real cane sugar are always better than our American ones with high fructose corn syrup. A small portion of the beef was a little grisly with fat. I subtracted one star for this and the fact that they ONLY take cash. This is a decent, clean eatery. They offer their entire menu with either corn or flour tortillas.
