My friends and I went here thinking we were about to finally get some good Lobster while in Rocky Point. We were literally the only people in the restaurant and it took over an hour for our food to come out. The waitress never came back to check on us not one time after we placed our order. Despite all of this, everyone kept their cool. Then our $55 (US) Lobster comes out and we lost it. That thing was the smallest lobster we've ever seen in our lives. I've seen bigger crawfish tails than this. We were too hungry to send it back, so we ate it and it was terrible guys. I am usually very apologetic if I have to write a bad review, but not this time. We've been here maybe 4 times now. Food is excellent every time. Margaritas are excellent. It is isn't cheap but you get a good portion and excellent food. All of the different shrimps are HUGE and so good. All of the fish and seafood dishes were also very delicious. The inside is eclectically decorated but in a super fun and interesting way. Service is good. Not fast when busy but that's to be expected. We will return for sure!!! A favorite for our family. read more

We went to try this place based on reviews and pictures of food. Such a disappointment. Food is mediocre, or should I say more like bad. We wanted to sit outside and enjoy the view. Server was so committed to convince us to sit outside so she doesn't have to go "far" to serve us. She tried like "it's hot outside, better inside with AC". It didn't work. We don't care about AC. Bad service and they expect good tip. Problem is they got used to tips regardless of service. I don't tip at all unless I get great service. Otherwise you are just doing your job. Not worth your money! Went to tequila and mariachi 2 nights in a row and decided to switch it up for our last night and go somewhere with a view. We instantly regretted it. -service was all over the place...when I asked what their specialty was he offered to show me the whole restaurant and do a walkthrough. That is the only appeal the location, Mexican vibes and view. -asked for no salt on my margarita...they put tajin instead...by no salt I meant nothing on my glass please...but I'm not one to send stuff back. -not even 1 item was memorable everything was bland -orders came out incorrectly -I ordered bottled water with 3 glasses...3 glasses came out filled with no bottle, which seemed odd So I asked to make sure if the water was from the bottle and the guy said yes...at this point I don't believe him. I've been so sick my whole ride home today morning with stomach cramps and it's either the water or the food, but I barely touched anything cause it was just not worth the calories. -tortilla and cheese which was suppose to come out with the steak, came 30 min prior....by the time the steak came cheese got hard and cold and tortillas got crunchy....so had to wait and order more (took 10 min) so then steak got cold. Went tonight (Friday night) our waiter was Christian and it was the first time we tried this restaurant. Christian recommended some amazing plates and everything was AMAZING. We ate shrimp, lobster and shrimp cocktail, we also ordered the guacamole and it has to be some of the best guacamole we've ever eaten. The portions are huge. My brother found this place on Yelp and we decided to give it a shot. It was hands down the best meal we had while in Rocky Point!!! For a family of 7 we were attended promptly and service was just great. We all had different dishes (all amazing btw) but the ones that stood out the most were the tortilla soup, clam chowder bread bowl, and the mariscada gallega. If we had only tried this place sooner we would've been coming back all week, I'm sure. My only complaint would be the drinks. My dad had a sangria and I ordered a Cuba libre and both were very watered down. We even asked for an extra shot of rum and it was still all soda... no biggy though. We went here on our last day visiting Puerto Peñasco, it was delicious! We really enjoyed all of our food and the service was fantastic. Great views of the little port and the fishing ships, super interesting decor with lots of figures/small statues. Neat little courtyard patio as well. This spot is delicious! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp and Mexican combination platter, with White Russian and Mai Tai cocktails. The staff is very helpful and attentive. This was an excellent shit hole with minimal bar seating, overpriced everything and cash only (which you find out when you get your bill). He and I both loved the shrimps, they had cream cheese in them and raspberry sauce outside....so different yet so wonderful. Had a nice Tuesday lunch. Patio was full so we ate in the main dining room. No problem because it has large windows that provide a nice open air feel. We ordered four separate fish dishes. All of them were very good (see photos), and priced very good around $10.- each Mine had green chili sauce, and was cover with melted cheese. If I return, I would ask for no cheese as it made the dish a bit heavy and over power the fish. If you like cheese, you will love it. All entrees profile Sole filets, and I can confirm that they were fresh fish caught locally. Entrees came with rice and steamed vegetables, but I a few of us swapped our veggies for beans. Oh yes our meal came with excellent "REAL" Mexican chips (latee we walked the Malecon, saw some dinners eating round chips at a restaurant that clearly came straight out of a Lays bag. Really??. Thank goodness not here ) with excellent salsa. Kids loved the fresh squeezed lemonade. And we enjoyed our cold Negro Modelos. For dessert we shared a nice large piece of Tres Leches cake. Ups we ate it before I remember to snap a pix. But trust me it hit the spot and was big enough for two. This place is nice, clean and very reasonably priced. read more

We had dinner here last week, and I have to bump the star shine up a bit to 5 stars. On our previous visit a month ago, we'd eaten a great dinner out on their terrace/balcony (marina and street view), but it had been a fairly steamy night, and the AC for the indoor dining wasn't on, but it was a decent experience, nonetheless. This visit was a little later in the evening, by design. This time around, we walked in, and the AC was on! But we still opted for the terrace for the marina view because it was a little cooler outside than the last visit. I can't say whether our seafood entrees were better than our last visit. It would have been like trying to pick my favorite parent. We ordered the Blue Coast Shrimp (stuffed GIANT shrimp with a mini-flight of 3 different sauces) and the Seafood Laffarga (topped with a white sauce). Both were delicious, decadent and rich, but the winners here were the BCS. Our service was also noteworthy because RAMON (sorry, Ramon) our food, beverage and now, entertainment provider sent over a musician to serenade partner for his birthday. He was embarrassed, but okay after he (we) ate his birthday flan. We did notice that this restaurant was busy every night (6 nights) we were in RP/PP, based on the cars on the street (leaving the Malecon) we traversed every night. TIP: Try to get there early, because next time, we'll likely have to do same to sit at a table of our choice. read more

This place is one of the best places to eat in Rocky Point! It is specialized in seafood and it is vegetarian friendly. Street parking was easy. They have a patio as well as two indoor areas to eat. My girlfriend and I went late in the evening and it was a bit chilly so we decided to eat inside. Their decoration is unique and their walls are full of pictures and decorative objects. From the very beginning, the staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered an incredibly tasty piña colada. At that point, we knew the place was good... They brought chips accompanied with a hot salsa that we enjoyed while waiting for the food to come. As a starter, we ordered a shrimp and a fish ceviche toasts. Both were extremely good. We additionally had a Galician seafood special and a Laffarga shrimp and fish. The Galician dish reminded me to the flavorful seafood dishes in Galicia (Spain). It contained shrimp, fish, octopus, clams, calamari soaked in a garlic, paprika and butter based sauce. The Laffarga shrimp and fish were baked and came with a green pepper and melted cheese sauce. It was probably their best dish, very flavorful and creamy! Both main dishes came with toasted bread, rice and veggies. Since we ate so well, we decided to finish our meal with a chocoflan. The Mexican food platter was really amazing. The waiter got tangled up in language issues: when I requested chicken taco (menu said beef or chicken) he brought an extra order of 2 chicken tacos. He politely took it back and when I discovered mine was beef I felt I had asked for enough. Oh well. The sampler was a good idea but next time I will order: Chile rellenos Burrito (not chimichanga) Taco (soft not crispy) Enchilada de camaron o pollo Not all at once of course. Not only was the food phenomenal but Daniel our waiter was so fantastic. I have some mobility issues and the real place to eat is on the outdoor patio overlooking the water upstairs, but he opened up the bottom part of the restaurant for just us so we could enjoy our dinner. After a few local places as it where recommend it and yelp we stumble across friendly dolphin. Very nice old pretty building, inside of the restaurant is very clean and the thin took was a lot of old Mexico decorations. Bathrooms are very clean which is very unusual for Mexico. Tables and chairs and booster seat for a child also very clean. A lot of variety of food meat fish and vegetarian option as pub Llano cheese pepper which was absolutely delicious.I highly recommend this place. read more
