I think Lucky was a nice person and easy to work with. I felt his pricing was ok as well. However after the job was completed, I was not satisfied with the workmanship. I brought up my concerns while they were working on the project and Lucky tried to fix it but the overall workmanship was still poor. To my fault, I didn't push any further after the initial attempt to fix the problem and I should have. I instead brought up my concerns later and he said he would have to charge a couple thousand more to fix it. I just wish that the workmanship was top notch to begin with and then I would not have to worry about bringing up any concerns. To clarify what I meant about poor workmanship, there were issues with bricks still having cement all over instead of being clean, the shape of the overall structure being built was out of proportion and it just didn't look good overall. read more

After having a really bad experience with a contractor this year, we felt really hesitant to get more work done on our home. Our first goal was to find someone who is licensed to work on laying new concrete in our backyard. Lucky was one of 7 cement businesses we had reached out to. Out of the seven contractors we reached out to, only him and another company actually came out to check out our space. When Lucky arrived for the estimate, he was really straight to the point. He did some measurements, looked at the layout, and gave us a quote. His prices are more than fair for the quality of work that he and his team provided (see the photos below). For our space, we laid about a 20x25' + 6x6' in our backyard. The process took two days to complete. On day 1, Lucky and his team removed all of the decomposed granite for our site, leveled, and prepared the land for cement. On day 2, Lucky and his team showed up bright and early to finish the job. His team was very respectful and were very professional. From the moment they started on site to the moment they left, they were kind to my daughter and I as we came in and out to take a look at the process. After cementing and finishing the slab that they poured out, they cleaned up EVERYTHING which was a huge sigh of relief especially as home remodeling and construction can get so exhausting with debris everywhere.
