We had another contractor who we had worked with before and was supposed to start working on a job at our home on a Monday. My husband confirmed with him the start date a week before, we moved what we needed out of the way, and we each contacted him in the morning when he hadn't showed up by 8:30 am only to be sent to voicemail every time. Frustrated, I contacted a couple other contractors I found on Yelp. One wanted $100 just to come look at the job, another had a recording that started it had a very high minimum for any job, and then we spoke to Wesley from Aloha, who was meant to be our contractor all along! He said he had just been nearby and was heading to another job but would turn around and come to our house to see what work we were wanting to do. He arrived about 20 minutes later, walked around with my husband to see the work we wanted to do in our front and backyard, and gave us a quote. This was all on a Monday. By Wednesday, he came with his crew, did all the demo and laid the forms and gravel. By Friday, he was back with his guys and poured all the concrete. We absolutely love all the work Wesley and his Aloha crew did. He was such a blessing in disguise and we are so grateful he fit us in between the other jobs he had going. Wesley came out and we talked about the design.
