Jennifer made all our landscape dreams come true! We had completed the house remodel and were ready for a thorough makeover of our front yard. We had some ideas for some zoning and an overall feel but no clue how to make it all come together. After a couple of other bids I called Jennifer. She came, along with her head installer, Enrique, and walked the grounds listening to my rough outline of what we would like. I was inspired by her feedback and ideas and loved that she's a Master Gardener. She's an encyclopedia of horticulture and has a wonderful eye for balance and style. ln no time we had signed a contract and were on our way. Working with her was a pleasure. She understood our desire to have a "Monterey" feel and ran many plant suggestions by us before providing a sketch. As plans moved along she provided great referrals for the electrical and hardscape work we needed. With her guidance we incorporated some unique plants that truly bring me joy every day! Our completed landscape is now 9 months old and has established beautifully! Plants are growing incredibly and we are in love with the grid they installed below the sod to stop our recurring gopher problem. Jennifer is great! So knowledgeable and creative. Me, I know just enough about plants and gardening to be dangerous. I decided to go out on a limb (no pun intended) and buy some dahlia bulbs and ranunculus corms to plant. They're my favorite flowers, and the amount I end up spending on bouquets of them every year is embarrassing. I got as far as removing the mishmash of plants that were accidentally growing in my flowerbed and turning the soil before deciding I wanted to give my plants a better shot at success by having a pro plant them. Glad I did. Jennifer responded to my request promptly and was easy to schedule with. Before our appointment she even contacted me with helpful info. She arrived on time and ready to work. She talked me through what she was seeing in the space I planned to use for planting. She even removed the (very stubborn) blackberry plants I couldn't get to the bottom of. She planted and mulched my dahlias and ranunculus, and gave me good advice on how to try to rescue the potted peony I bought from Costco a couple of weeks prior that was already falling victim to my lack of skill. Before she left, she gave me a walk-through of what she planted where (and put the labels in the flowerbed so I wouldn't have to remember), told me what I needed to do as far as watering, recommended tools like the cool hose nozzle I now have and love, and answered my questions about what else I could plant so that I can have flowers year-round. I'd definitely hire Jennifer again, and will recommend her to others. read more

Our back yard needed a big refresh, it was looking tired, haphazard and unkept. Jennifer designed a beautiful new look that incorporated all our wishes. First, our sprinkler system and valves were 27 years old, so that was redone and now we have fantastic water coverage everywhere it needs to be. Second, she made sense of the good plants and trees we had (moving some) and incorporated new plants and trees with them to achieve a great look. We wanted fruit trees added into the mix, and those are already producing delicious fruit. We added lighting that just gives our yard a beautiful and elegant look at night. Finally, she brought our overgrown large slope back to life with new soil, mulch, plants, trees and lighting. Outside of her direct project responsibilities , she also recommended quality vendors that we used to trim our 5 large pine trees and to repaint our wrought iron fence. We had ivy that had been in our yard since the 60s! We also had bamboo that we could not get rid of in our backyard. The yard looked terrible. We tried working with other "landscaping" people and the yard still looked terrible. Jennifer was the nicest person and she made me believe in customer service again. After tirelessly looking for a great Landscape designer that wasn't an absolute fortune , and was willing to give me their time, I found an exceptional one. Jennifer is the person everyone is looking for.. she has a talent for plant design, very knowledgeable , creates an amazing plan with plants that you choose together, plants everything with her team and also follows up continuously to make sure plants are healthy and/or in need of pruning. Not to mention she's affordable, super friendly and willing to go out of her way to help. We have a large corner lot that looks amazing, due to her visions. If there were 10 stars allowed, I would have given a 10!. Jennifer designed my front yard when I took out my grass and put in native plants. It looks fantastic.
