I had a relatively small patio paver project that I needed to have completed for an upcoming baby shower my home. Some of the pavers became very uneven over time and became a serious tripping hazard...ask me how I know! I contacted 3 different companies to offer a bid. Posting some pix that were not included earlier. I didn't post a ton, just enough to help you make your decision to use someone else After getting a few estimates and meeting with Shaun, we decided to use this company to pour a new pad in the back yard and a new driveway. What a complete waste of money!!! Here is what I'm dealing with even after they've come back three times to fix stuff. At this point they are just making it worse. They cracked a section in an area that was not going to be worked on so they poured a new pad. When they poured it, they broke the drain pipe and irrigation. Additionally, the new pad was framed up with bad measurements so it's over an inch off in front. it was also not leveled so it is too high so now my gate rubs. A mow curb was cut away when to pour this new pad but it was cut too short and not fixed so now there is a gap in the curb. They removed a block wall and left rebar attached. Rather than cut it they just bent it and buried it in the lawn for my landscaper to "find" with his rototiller. Driveway poured unevenly...even an untrained eye can see low spots and high spots. Overall poor quality finish and not sharp joint lines. A new mow curb was poured (on the other side ) with an odd hump instead of following the line of the driveway. Steps left with very rough uneven edges and lots of over pour. Back yard: Area where a drain was placed must have been stepped on so it sunk in several inches. They had to jack hammer it out which caused cracks in my original concrete. Many Low spots in back which pool water. Side: They cut a small section in order for an electrician to lay conduit but it was cut unevenly. Also when they cut it, they also cut into the wall of my house. Also, instead of moving or covering an area of the garden with polished rocks and a drain, the concrete saw dust covered everything. Now the polished rocks are ruined. The concrete was poured too high and it did not have the same finish as the old concrete. When they came back to fix, they chipped the old concrete, and had to cut more of the original concrete away. The workers were super disrespectful which was obvious by all of the Peanut shells thrown around the yard, the fact that they picked all the oranges off my tree and threw the peels all around the yard. They tromped through the planter and broke all the irrigation lines. They left debris in both neighbors lawns. If that wasn't enough, we actually saw one of the workers pee in the garden TWICE. I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed. The first day after the concrete was poured I reached out to Shaun and asked him to come see the poor workmanship. He did ask what he could do to make it right but I honestly didn't want them to ruin anything else so they just fixed the area with the sunk in drain. But after they came to clean up (which I actually had to ask for) they cracked some concrete so they had to come fix that. So kudos to Shaun for trying to make it right but it's unfortunate that it could not be done correctly from the beginning. FIND SOME OTHER COMPANY TO WORK WITH. read more

We had PVM come out and help us with our project, they gave us a few options and we went with what they said. They came this morning and 3 guys demolished, removed the old concrete and brick, dug down the required inches and removed the dirt, happily enough I had a raisedbed planter that needed filling, the dirt went right in there, laid down the rear and wheeled barrowed all 30 loads of cement,finished it and cleaned up the WHOLE area. The wife is so happy, there were many trip hazards out there and now none, alot safer for us senior citizens. Can't say enough about Paul, Jose and Willie, all worked there tails off to finish in one day also Dale was very friendly and helpful . We recommend them totally. Excellent work! This review is long overdue. I hired PVM concrete to add pavers to my backyard, front yard and side of my house. Darrell came and was friendly, professional and patient, very patient. Lol I had a bunch of design ideas and he helped me narrow it down to one. We added installation of pavers in the front yard and doorstep and side of the house with drainage. Im so glad I agreed to the additional work, I only thought I wanted the back patio. Here I am, 3.5 years later, to tell you how much I love the work that was done and how beautiful the pavers look. PVM provided quality work and delivered what they promised. One of my sprinklers broke and water was spraying a few days after installation. We had a positive experience with the work done, but have been dealing with a mechanics lien because they haven't paid for the concrete. The work was completed at the end of August and now there is a lien on our home. We called the first time we got a notice/warning and were told it would be taken care of. We received a second notice and were told again they would take care of it. We shouldn't have to deal with this, especially considering the cost of the concrete is a small part compared to the total project. read more

Just had Joe and his team fix my bock retaining wall at my Fullerton home. The wall had been raised years ago by two layers and it was not done correctly leaving loose blocks that did not have support to the lower layers. My next door neighbors lost the top two layers of their block wall during an earthquake 5 years ago and we didn't want the same thing to happen to us. The repair work included rebar and concrete reinforcement, replacement blocks and mortar that matched very well and the work was done quickly, and professionally and on budget as promised. Original owner did not do it correctly. All my problems solved. 2nd Job: had to tear up driveway pavers for sewer work. PVM quickly and professionally relaid all pavers. Fast, professional work that impressed my plumbers. 3rd job (I must be jinxed) Had a front irrigation line issue that forced me to tear up 10 feet of perimeter pavers laid in concrete. 10ft?! Such a small job most companies would decline and suggest a handyman. PVM said no problem, got me on the schedule. The results are perfect. Their cleanup of the jobsite is impeccable.
