Stopped at Lucky's everyday I was staying in the North Shore! Vibes are great and drinks are fantastic. I even tried the açaí one of the days. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is always a wait - be prepared!!! I also really enjoyed their specialty banana swirl latte. read more

Lucky's Coffee is a must try when you're in the area! Upon arriving, we were greeted with a smile by the young lady at the front. Props to the lady with the pearl necklace, she made the whole experience feel welcoming. As for the food, it isn't bad at all! My friends tried the avocado toast which had a great crunch with pickled onions, avocado, feta and tomato. They ate it all so fast because of how good it was. For the drinks, I got a coconut cold foam cold brew and my friends got their own specialties that I can't quite recall. But needless to say they loved their lattes and finished them with no hesitation. It was that good. My cold brew was great too, though next time I'll skip the coconut cold foam. It ended up tasting more like cheese than coconut which was a bummer, but I still enjoyed it. Overall great ambiance, food, drinks and service. Everything came out on time and tasted amazing. We'll definitely be back to try more!!! read more

This was my favorite coffee spot in Hawaii. This coffee shack is literally in the middle of the most gorgeous garden and field, with a beautiful view of the mountains. There were chickens and even a little kitten running around, it genuinely felt like I was in heaven LOL. The worker was so nice and our drinks came out pretty fast. I got a Banana Latte and it was so yummy and didn't taste artificial at all. Can't recommend this place enough! read more

Cutest coffee stand! Parking on the street. Came around 8:30am on a weekday and ordered immediately but were a few people waiting already. Has some outdoor benches to sit on. I got the honey lilikoi matcha with almond milk and was definitely lilikoi forward, but not overly sweet and was refreshing. Literally the cutest little coffee shop I have ever seen. We got the banana barrel matcha and i love that it wasn't too sweet and the banana syrup tasted so organic and real not like syrupy you can actually taste the banana. Beautiful vibes! If you love matcha, this is the place to go! I recommend getting a large if ur a frequent matcha drinker because you will be done with the drink within minutes. It's just that good. They have a wide variety of menu arranging from lattes to acai bowls to breaky/lunch foods. They also sell plumeria and crown flower lei all made from the homegrown trees in the back! However, my favorites are the matchas (specifically the honey lilikoi and strawberry fields ones) and the Blue Hour smoothie. Came back to Oahu a month later because I didn't get to try Lucky's in North Shore, so now that I'm back and I get to try it - so worth it!!! The cafe itself is super cute and cozy. It was raining when I came and they also have umbrellas for guests to use while they wait / sit + sip on their drinks in their outdoor patio area. I don't believe there is a public restroom available. Parking can be tough but there's parking available right in front on the street by the beach entrance. Drinks we got were cold brew (for my husband) and white cap (iced latte with macadamia syrup and vanilla cold foam) for me. They were delicious!!! read more

fun find - didn't know Haleiwa extended that far out to where sharks cove was.... i was kinda wondering why we kept driving but my assumption was they were near haleiwa town but its actualy outside of it (i guess). The address listed takes you near the area, it is actually more ahead but you really have to go slow or you'll miss it completely like how i did. It's literally a hole in a bush... ha ha ha.... i literally had to make a left to housing area and i parked there cause i drove past it. Do be careful when crossing too if you do park that way, it's a very busy road. its a pretty small area with a mini lawn and bench seating. very cute vibes tho and the drinks were good and pretty average pricing. Love that it's dog friendly too! read more

This is a hidden gem café on the North Shore. It's located in a residential area about a 10-minute drive from Haleiwa Town. Street parking only. The café is very cute and surrounded by nature. I came here specifically to try their unique menu item, the Banana Barrel Latte, which I had never seen anywhere else. It's a latte with caramelized banana in it. The taste was okay, but the atmosphere really made it special. It's the perfect place to grab a drink after surfing and relax in a peaceful, natural setting. I have been here multiple times now and it is consistently delicious! Definitely the best coffee shop on the north shore that I have been to! I would even go so far to say that this is one of my favorite coffee shops in the world. Their honey lilikoi matcha is one of the best matchas that I have ever tried! It is not overly sweet and the matcha is high quality. Their lattes are also great! Their breakfast burrito is simple but delicious, especially with the creamy green sauce they serve it with. The service is great and the drinks come out fast, no matter how busy they are. Finally, the location can't be beat! We ordered a breakfast burrito and an acai bowl, and for the price, the portions were surprisingly small. The food was decent, but the serving sizes did not feel like a good value. Another downside was the lack of seating. Aside from a small patch of artificial grass, there was really nowhere comfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. Based on the reviews, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. With the portion sizes, limited seating, and overall value, we left disappointed and felt there are better options in the area. read more

I ended up getting the banana barrel drink. It was super delicious. The drive there was relatively easy to find. Parking is a bit limited but you can find some side roads to park alongside to get there. Service was great!! Coffee definitely worth getting if you are a coffee enthusiast. We tried this last Saturday. The lady who took my order was super nice and gave her recommendations. Drinks were ok. The banana barrel had a taste of unripe bananas. The wait for the drinks were long. Now why did I give 1 star, the petite Asian lady with an attitude rudely yelled at me to move my car as it is blocking the road. She already had spoken to my husband who was in the car. We were parked behind her car. So it is definitely not blocking the road. And she could've POLITELY asked me if I could please move my car. While she was yelling at me, everyone else who was there waiting looked at me and I was definitely embarrassed. I understand people have bad days but pls don't take it out on your customers. I don't think I'll be back. There's a lot more better coffee options around the island. read more

I can understand cause it might have just been really busy and a long day or something. I've had the food before which I remember as being ok. I just love the chocolate haupia pie. I hope it was just a one time bad day from the workers as well. Again, I don't normally go there so I'm not sure.

Ho'olana is the main coffee shop for the Ritz Carlton, meaning that you can expect a big line for that coffee rush in the morning. We got their iced strawberry matcha latte, which was really good, sweet, and had dairy substitutes available. We also got a banana bread and a muffin, both of which were okay, but not great. We came back the next day and got their banana bread latte was good, and has more of that caffeine kick if that's what you're looking for. We also ordered the açaí bowl, which was definitely pricey for the size, AND they ran out of strawberries, which was unfortunate. The açaí bowl was okay, but not worth the price for what it was. You can skip this one. The most notable thing, though, was the customer service. The ladies taking orders and preparing the pre-made food were very poor in customer service, help, and not willing to assist what-so-ever. They always seemed annoyed that people were ordering, and put a damper on the overall whole cafe experience. My grandma, who wanted to come here for her birthday in the morning, had additionally wanted to ask them what time they opened, as they had just closed, but instead of answering the question, or referring her online, they cut her off and said that they were closed, so they won't be assisting further.
