6 month late review from November 2025 (thought I posted) OH MY SOUL!!! We were recommended to stop here for banana bread while we were on our honeymoon by my in laws. AND IT WAS WORTH THE HOUR LONG DRIVE We stayed in Waikiki but let me tell you I would do it again just for their soft, thick, bread. You can feel the quality in every bite. Such a cute shop located along the north shore! It was easy to spot from the road and looked like a little garage with adorable decorations. We were immediately greeted by a girl who was beyond friendly. She explained that the bread comes from apple banana's which are a tropical fruit. They had buy 3 get 1 free bread so we got 3 loaves and 1 sticker. $13 for a good quality loaf is a great deal we thought. Their stand is tucked on the side of the street and there is super cute merch like bags, shirts, and stickers for purchase. Made a quick stop at this place to try their infamous banana bread before heading off to the beach in North Shore! Parking is a bit tough. There's a parking lot across the street that you can park at that has a few spots. When we arrived, they had 3 options: regular, chocolate chip, or mochi. We asked the lady that was at the front which she recommended and she said the mochi one. I've never had mochi banana bread so my husband and I wanted to give it a try (we were fans of mochi anyways). The mochi banana bread was a $1 extra ($14) for a loaf vs the usual $13 (regular or choc chip). We were def huge fans of it! The texture was a perfect mochi texture and the banana flavor complimented it so well. Since it was a thicker texture, it took us a bit longer to finish than the regular banana bread. Decided to make a stop here because of how everyone raves about the banana bread. It's a very small shop so be careful because you may miss it while driving! The loaves were $13/each & they had original, chocolate chip & mochi. They were also doing a buy 3 get 1 free, so of course..I got 4 -- 2 chocolate chip bb, 1 original & 1 mochi which came out to around $44 after a tip. A little pricey, but I learned they use local ingredients so the pricing makes sense. The chocolate chip bb was my favorite!! The loaves are so dense & the chocolate chip one had so many chocolate chips throughout. Yeah okay this is my favorite banana bread I've ever had, and I have a lot of banana bread and it's the only thing I bake. It's not made with butter -- I think no dairy, but check with them on eggs if you have an allergy. I really liked the mochi banana bread. I think it's $13/ loaf. A loaf is about a lb, which sounds like a lot but isn't too big so you can probably get two loaves, or all three?? I would like to get the chocolate chip and original banana bread too! It was fun chewing into this loaf at the beach on North Shore and also slicing it into cute little slices later. If only this was half an ocean closer to me.
