We had a beach getaway planned for early summer (booked a year in advance) and had no idea what to do with our (then 13 week old) kitten. I searched online and immediately found all of the glowing reviews for Cat's Pajamas - I'm so glad! I spoke with Patty on the phone and she eased all of my worries about leaving our baby Leo with her. We boarded Leo for the week we were away and he was the happiest boy when we picked him back up! He is a very needy kitten (needs lots of attention and cries if he doesn't get it), so I was worried about leaving him - but no need to worry with Patty! Patty made sure to have him out for playtime regularly and sent us lots of pictures to keep us updated. Leo absolutely loved her! Plus, Patty even allowed us to bring our non-clumping litter for her to use during the week, since Leo was still too young for regular clumping (if you've ever used it, you know non-clumping litter can be a pain, but Patty didn't even bat an eye at the inconvenience of it!). We left Leo with her again at the end of the summer for a last minute weekend trip and received the same 5-star treatment! We love Patty and can't recommend The Cat's Pajamas Inn highly enough!

Patty, the owner seemed lovely. I wasn't thrilled about the size of the crates 6x4, but figured we could do a trial run for 1 night before his actual stay. We agreed on a day and time for me to bring my cat and the day before she asked if I could come at 9:00am instead of 9:30am because she was heading out for 2 hours at 9:15!! WHAT?? She thought nothing of having me bring my cat who had never been there before, shove him in a crate and the leave right after he gets there for 2 hours? The whole point of me bringing him was for her to meet him, see how he does. When I asked if it might be better to bring him later that day when she would be around, she said no I'm having company!! Again WHAT?? How much attention and time was she planning on spending with my cat who would probably have been frightened as can be. I would NEVER bring my cat there and I'm so happy that I learned what she's truly all about beforehand. Looks can be deceiving!!

She even bought a bag of my dog's favorite treats just because she happened to be at a store where they had them for a good price! I could not ask for a better care-taker for my pooch. The moment I ask, "Do you want to go to school?" my dog is up and ready, heading straight for the door. It's such a joy to see her excitement as we drive down the street - she knows exactly where we're going and I can't contain her enthusiasm, bouncing from window to window. When we finally pull up, I have to brace myself because she drags me to the front door, eager to get inside. It's adorable how her whole-body wiggles like an "S" when she's excited - it never fails to make me laugh. Under the new ownership, which has been in place since 2023, Pet Companions Bed and Biscuit has only improved. The facility looks better than ever, with separate rooms for chilling out, enjoying treats, solving puzzles, and even taking nature walks with the staff. And that's just the tip of the iceberg! I got out of the car, brought Rusty with me, and all I had to do was see the smile on Lizz'a face when she saw Rusty and I. Everything melted away. She took Rusty and I in the back where he smelled EVERYTHING. Lizz could tell I was relieved of any tenacious nerves that I had. We stayed in the back yard and her husband brought out their dog, Zajka. She was so great to my Rusty! I've never ever felt more comfortable and connected with dog people before. The inside of the home is clean as well! Rusty still smelled out the whole place. (He's a Bloodhound) He had a look of peace on his face. I couldn't be happier. They have terrible customer service. Every time you call the person answering the phone has zero…read moreanswers and says someone will call you back when they can, but then we never get a call back. They don't pay attention to the dogs well-being nearly enough, for example we have been leaving our puppy there and have told them that he is having diarrhea but every time we pick him up and ask if his poop was normal they says, "oh yeah, everything was fine" or "I don't know, I didn't work with him" and then when he gets home he continues to have diarrhea. They don't interact with their clients at all, at the end of the day they are just telling you what you need to hear to leave them alone. The only positive thing I can say is that our puppy comes home looking happy and he is tired from playing. Edit: 3 days after posting this review, instead of reaching out to me they called and tried to bully my fiancee into changing it deleting this review. Rather than addressing the issues she just denied any problems and ended up just making my fiancee upset.

He's definitely a needy little man. Generally after a vacation, he expresses his displeasure that we left him by getting pretty moody - he has been so sweet and cuddly since we've been back! Obvious proof that he wasn't the least bit stressed out by our absence. She is obviously a cat person, which is what my two boys needed. They are pretty easy to take care of...no meds, no special diet or feeding schedule, and we have an auto litterbox. So what we really needed was someone to come in and give them lots of love and attention. She did that 10x over. :-) We requested a daily email just to make sure they were ok and she was kind enough to include a summary of the day's activities and lots of pictures. We looked forward to those emails every single day and did quite a bit of laughing. I would definitely recommend her!

I didn't just get someone- I got a whole team who took care of my pet. They explained the whole petting sitting process, did a home visit before petting sitting to get familiar with our pet and home. They provided daily updates and pictures when ninja kitty was visible. Kristen and Nicole are fabulous! Also they're website is so easy to use for scheduling and sending information.
