This place is clean and big and well-lit. It's also next to a brewery with patio seating (safe beer during covid times) so you can read and drink a beer while you wait for your laundry. Their card machine is toward the back of the shop. Washer load capacity is printed on the floor beneath the units. Price was not bad and they have HUGE washers available. Like, 8 load capacity! They also have hand sanitizer available in multiple spots, which is helpful. I will be coming back here to wash comforters and such. Try it out! read more

They do a good job with their fluff and fold service at a reasonable price. My son's sweatpants were missing and they credited the value of the pants towards my account. No attitude, no rudeness. They know how to treat their customers. read more

I'll give them a star for cleanliness but beware they only want you to use their reloadable card wich you have to purchase $1 for it and when you use it for the machine it seems it charges you some hidden fees because for how much money I loaded and how much they charge seems like the their machine charges more than what it says and plus $1 for the dryer for 24 min when other laundromats are for $.25 read more

I wish I could give this place 0 stars AND get this business shut down! I went here to do my laundry today, May 10th, 2023 at 3:00 pm and unfortunately found THE worst laundromat in all of Orange County. No.... California. No..... America!! Not only was the cheapest washer $3.09 and extremely tiny (like even smaller than a regular washer) but the dryer was also $1.99 for 20 min. That's okay though, it's a little on the expensive side but oh well. So after my husband and I finish folding our laundry we go to use the restroom and are greeted with a slot to put your laundry card! It was $0.26 to use the bathroom but I had to pee bad enough I was fine paying it. So my husband and I go into the bathroom we just payed to use and not 3 minutes later someone pounds on the door and says "you guys can't both be in there! One of you come out or we're calling the cops on you guys!!" Okay I'm sorry but what exactly did we do that was illegal there? After paying to use the bathroom we went in to use it. Why in the fuck we were threatened to have the cops called on us is beyond me but I would not recommend anyone go to this laundromat! They have weird, rude, and just completely uneducated and unprofessional people working there. Take your money and go to any other laundromat in CM! You can thank me later lol read more

If you want to get a brief summarization of this places it's WOW. I came to Costa Mesa to buy some snow boots and I also needed to wash clothes. I live in Anaheim. I looked up this place and thought this looks really nice. It totally is!!!! It's amazing!!! It is clean, state of the art, lots of machine availability and they use a charge card (way cleaner than coins or dollars). i prefer your brookhurst & adams location in huntington beach. much more stuff to do there while waiting for laundry to be done. i could grocery shop at stater bros., go have lunch at woodys or pollys pies or any number of mom & pop lunch shops in cvs shopping center, or across street in kohls shopping center or in target shopping center. your in an unsafe industrial area now. i will.not be going there very often any more if at all. move back to your brookhurst & adams b4 the vdt moves in.!!! read more

The machines only accept credit cards, but they wouldn't accept my VISA, AMEX or VISA debit cards! I tried all 3 cards in 3 different machines. Wasted liquid detergent and my time. Don't bother coming to this place....go to a good old fashioned coin-operated business instead. read more

As far as laundromats go, this one is the best in the neighborhood. There are lots of washers and driers, comfortable sitting areas with cool books, nice ambience, washers and driers worked well, easy system for loading money onto your laundry card. Lots to like about this place. One thing that would take it to the next level is some vending machines for laundry items and drinks/snacks. A few things that I disliked were how dirty the couches were, the overflowing trash cans, and the fact that I couldn't get a cart. I counted only eight carts total. For such a large facility, it's hard to imagine they expect only eight people to need carts all at once. Regarding the trash cans, it seemed like nobody was on staff, but it could be helpful to have somebody swing by and replace the trash bags throughout the day. Overall, the next time I need to use a laundromat, it'll be this one, but I definitely look forward to improvements since I think they've got a good idea going that just needs some refinement. :) read more

I've been here a couple dozen times since they opened. The place is usually fairly clean, and the machines seem reliable. The washers are overpriced by about 25-30% compared to other nearby laundromats, but it's nice to be able to use a card rather than quarters. The owners have put effort into making the waiting area nice, with seats and tables, and there's even a micro brewery next door to enjoy a beer while you're waiting. When it's busy, there's nowhere near enough laundry carts/baskets available, but my biggest complaint is that this is the only laundromat I've ever been to that doesn't have ANY vending machines or any way to buy detergent, dryer sheets, a water, or soda or anything. read more

They will come and pick up my husband's dry cleaning from the house and return it to our front door when it's finished. It's a huge help to our family! definitely super nice & clean laundromat but pricey.. normal small washer machine is $3.99 so $4 basically. & dryer is $1.69... & you also have to pay $0.30c to use the bathroom. the only reasonable machine & price i understand is the one that holds 6-8loads for $7.00-$8.00 because you can fit so much in there. read more

I would normally be giving a 5 stars as i've been here a few times and no issues but today I arrived to wash one big load of clothes. the machine is fine no signs on it Threw all my clothes in put my soap and softener in the machine went to pay then once I push start & the machine says (not ready to start) or something similar. Went ahead called their number about 4 times got no kind of response said no customer service is available. Went to Ring the RING 3x as well and no kind of answer either. If you want to run a laundromat I would suggest having a staff member on site otherwise people will have issues and no one to resolve anything. Waste of my time as I had to leave my clothes in the washer and drive down the street to go buy more soap and softener. Check yourself Lucy's Laundromat. I came here last week with a friend and we just loved the ambiance here, it's very chill vibes all the way. First of all opened from 4am-11! Like what that's so convenient! Another coin laundry I love in Costa Mesa closed at 5pm and although I loved them, I had to stop going because I'm off work at 5pm and the days I'm off I'm usually busy in the day and can't make it at 4 to do laundry for last wash. So the hours here are probably gonna keep me coming! Love the couches, love the free WiFi, love how they have charging stations for your phone! I'm literally sitting at one of them rn waiting for my laundry. Love how it's clean inside here, I grew up going to coin laundry's and they're always dingy and dirty and there's always too many people, here I never feel stressed or like someone's gonna take my laundry out and stick them somewhere else. I give it 4 stars because it is a little pricy I spent almost 50 bucks on laundry the other day, and today for 1 1/2 loads of clothes and for 1 load with a blanket and a few towels ab 20 bucks all together. I used two of the bigger washers to fit it all in. Paid 4-5 bucks per washer and the dryers are 1.69 but I did put my card in twice for one for extra time! Idk maybe I just need to figure out a more efficient way to use my money wisely, and pick my washers wisely but I'll learn! I will keep coming back for the vibes! I do wish they had nice vending machines for snacks and beverages or soaps and product, but there's a shopping area right next door with so much food and a target so I'll live! I go there when waiting for my clothes to wash! I love it here and I'm glad I found it! Also for the owner I noticed one of the charging stations behind the couch isn't working! I used to go to the Lucy's on Adams when they were fairly new. Back then it was the nicest place in town and worth the premium prices, but over the years they let the place become filthy and run down. When I saw they were opening this new location I had high hopes. The place was gorgeous, with nice machines, and once again appeared to be worth the premium prices. I hoped they would make sure to keep this one in good condition. I started coming here as soon as they opened, which wasn't that long ago, and little by little I see them letting it go. On my last visit, there were several machines out of service, tons of trash all over the floor, and filthy counters. My family business has been using Lucy's Fluff and Fold laundry service since we started operating two Airbnb units in 2019. We have been very pleased with the price and excellent customer service that we have received. We can really count on Lucy's to deliver our laundry when we need to have it and we know that it will be done right. When Lucy's opened a new store in Costa Mesa we were excited because that location was more convenient. But we were not sure that we would receive the same level of service that we had been receiving at the Huntington Beach store. Serrena made our transition so much easier. She does such great work and provides superb customer service that we only want her to do our laundry as well as interface with her. Serrena has been so pleasant and friendly that is a real joy to take our laundry in to be washed. She has made sure that the back door is open when we come in so we do not have to lug our laundry all the way from the front of the store to the back service area. She has even called us to let us know that our laundry would be late. We can't say enough good things about Serrena. We certainly hope that Lucy's does whatever they have to do to keep Serrena on because she is truly a gem! read more

At least other laundry places give you the price up front! This pace SUCKS. I'm not from this area. I don't have a car at the moment. I needed to do laundry so I looked for the nearest place and walked there. I should have continued walking another mile up the road. The only price I found was the $1.67 you get charged to load money onto their card which incidentally is also extra ($1.00) wash loads are $6.00. If you want to use cash to put money on their card, the machine does not accept $1.00 dollar bills so you are forced to put at least $5.00 on the card. The washer and dryer machines do not accept bills or coins. I packed my wet clothes into my laundry bag and hiked the mile to the next laundromat. Don't ever go here unless you don't mind being taken advantage of. read more

When I walked in I was so impressed of all the options. Easy to use, self serve. Very CLEAN! This place was built for social-distance in mind. I came to check out this laundromat on a Friday night because my regular laundry place closed at 8:30 PM & was happy to find this place open. The laundromat stands out, it's very modern, clean and spacious. I love how there's wifi, chairs to sit & couch to sit meanwhile you're waiting on your laundry. Today, I felt unsatisfied with customer service though ,because I ran my Laundry card on one of the machines and it wasn't starting till it finally started up ,but it ended up charging me double. I went to speak to the attendant and I don't know if she is deaf or what and Pardon me if she is ,but her customer service sucked!! She didn't acknowledge me when I went to the counter, didn't say hi or how can I help you or nothing!!! I explained what happened and she came out checked my card and went back inside , checked something in the computer and handed me my card back. NOT A SINGLE WORD WAS SAID. HOW RUDE!!! so maybe they need to hire people with better customer service. read more
