11/11/2025. I POSTED A NEGATIVE REVIEW ABOUT Lucy's laundry 2 days ago. It was not good. I did mention that the employees were friendly and helpful. They burned a brand new throw and other damage to my clothing when I used their fluff and fold. Usually I try to get my laundry done myself. My complaint was turned around and blamed on me ( triangulation) because I didn't tell them what temperature for them to dry this item on. When you get a oil change on your car does the mechanic ask where the oil goes? TREVOR offered to replace it but still has not happened and stated his had withdrawn that offer out of spite. He called ME three times with an confrontational and very angry attitude after reading my review.I DID NOT CALL HIM OR BOTHER HIM IN ANY WAY. I had to hang up on him then texting him not to call me again. He was set on intimidating me and blowing this situation out of proportion, which he did and has stating disrespect, tone and behavior for his punishment to teach me a lesson. I have not been rude or nasty to any employee EVER! If stating the truth angers him this much watch out people! He also states the is audio (voice) recording and video. Video is legal but audio is unlawful and illegal in every state! Sounds like a lot of smoke and mirrors. Stating the owner had issue with me. I told him to give the owner wanted to call me to give him or her my number. Of course, that didn't happen. I received several hostile voice mail messages from him and those are saved as well as his texts to me. The bottom line in his own words due to my review and the burning throw I'm now banned from Lucy's locations. Seems like a bad case of retaliation period. I am a 71 yr old using a walker I doubt that I can be much trouble and go there to do just get my laundry done never realizing how toxic 6 the reaction is for complaints. I REFUSE TO BACK DOWN. This is angry retalation on Trevor's part..I wish he could or would release all he claims to has against me Video, audio computer notes etc. I say bring it!! Free speech and honest reviews are our rights. If this situation ever happens to you there is CRFA, CONSUMER REVIEW FAIRNESS ACT THAT PROTECTS CUSTOMERS ABILITY TO POST HONEST AND STRAIGHT FORWARD REVIEWS WITHOUT BEING PENELIZED FOR DOING SO. YOU CAN FILE REPORTS WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE AND THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION. This not only applies to Lucy's Laundry in Costa Mesa but and other business you leave a review for. read more

This is in reflection of both the laundromat and the fluff and fold staff. The laundromat staff have been talking to me about the fluff and fold offerings for months now. I am a complainer about having to do laundry and they tolerate me lol. A shorter male with dark hair often reminds me that I could drop off laundry and be doing something I want instead. Well I finally ran into a situation where I just couldn't get it done due to obligations and so I gave it a try. Whoever did my order, kudos to you! You put my (lack of) laundry folding to shame - - 6 feet under and covered in dirt. THANK YOU! I had a great weekend because of you all! read more

Speaking of... They named their machines to have CA Cities on them!!! Such a cute touch. Bet it'll put a feather in your cap to keep you coming back. If the life this place radiates doesn't do it, maybe the friendly staff will. Cash only accepted at the machine for a laundry card. Apple Pay, Debit/ CC welcome at both machine and dry cleaner. This Friday was my third time coming to this laundry place loved it the first time ! And kept coming honestly one of the best laundry places very spatious and absolutely clean! Anyone needing a quick wash of clothes or multiple huge loads like me are welcomed here very lovely big enough machines of all sizes great staff Sophia ! I checked this place out while visiting the bewery BRC next door and waiting for food from Vikings food truck and wow... this place is big, clean, and actually has staff. I'm from the area but have washer/dryer combo at home. I may have to make the excuse to use this place! read more

Was there last weekend honestly great staff very helpful helping me try to get in to wash when not told that the last wash is at 10pm Sophia helped and went above and beyond to help be able to make it in before the washer card readers shut off even tho it said closes 11pm read more
