Chad who did the work was respectful of the property, clean in his work and finished as promises. With drywall cutting and wall obstruction the house was probably left cleaner then when he arrived. It was Friday afternoon, and we needed to head down the Hill when we lost power in part of the house. Two electricians (the other Steve and one of the Isaiahs) came, diagnosed the problem as a bad double breaker and had to do some fancy footwork in our panel, but they got it done and replaced an issue going back to the mid Eighties, when the house was built. Amazing service! Called Ludecke's because I purchased a chandelier that had reviews that said it took people 1-2 days to assemble and put up. Ludecke's has our new chandelier assembled, I stalled and the old removed in less than an hour! He even had to take a couple parts back to his shop to fix! Exceptional service! I moved to Big Bear City in the middle of this winter, literally early January. I converted a vacation home into daily living. Obviously, I had no necessary appliances, while the fridge and stove were from the '80s! Steve and Chad wired underneath (!) my house, and now I have a washer & dryer. Welcome to the civilized world! I cannot tell you how professional and perfect their work is! The washer & dryer work faultlessly with their wiring. Next I changed the stove, and Chad did a fantastic job - again, wiring underneath the house - converting my stove electric system from 110V to 220V. This is not something easy to do, yet Chad accomplished it effortlessly and clean. Again, I was welcomed to the civilized world. I own a vacation rental in Big Bear Lake and this past weekend I was notified by my tenants that our heating unit had stopped working. The weather was cold & rainy (snow was expected) so it was very important to get someone out right away. I called a few places prior to coming across Steve's company on Yelp but I was not able to get ahold of anyone. The one company that I was able to reach was just a dispatch. All they could do was pass along a message. They could not tell me when someone would call me back or if they could get out same day. Luckily, I did reach Steve. When I called his number, he answered his phone! He understood the importance of my call and said he could get there within 30 minutes. True to his word, he got to my house within the timeframe promised. Thankfully he found out that my wall unit just needed to be reset due to a safety button that was flipped for running too hot. Needless to say, I was very appreciative of his prompt service. It can be difficult owning a vacation rental, especially not living in town myself. I had called steve to come out to a sunday for a quote to get my cameras installed and have my electrical moved 20 ft since i needed to move the storage shed and the shed had lights inside it. He told me he'd send me a quote monday and i followed up the following tuesday and he said it was going to be the following monday. That monday came and still no quote, so i found someone else. Luckily i didnt go with steve, his plan to reroute my electrical was a short cut by cutting into my bedroom and using the power outlet there. I ended up hiring someone else from down the hill for half the price and he reran it from my electrical box to the back and added addtional gfci outlets for me for future use. Btw the quote finally came 3 weeks later..so glad i didnt go with them. read more

I called with an idea that I wanted to change a water heater and gas wall heater to take advantage of my solar electric. He patiently walked me through what would be needed and told me, 1- my sub panel in a secondary house was adequate, 2- the 15 year old gas water heater was working so why change it now? and 3- the electric wall heater I had in mind was not a good idea so he made other suggestions for the future.
