One of my absolute favorite things to do when I'm in town is visit the Hubbard public library, find a good book to read and then walk the short distance over to Ludlow coffee to indulge in a cafe au lait, and read my book in cozy comfort. Absolute heaven if I do say so myself. I don't know if they redid the menu, seems like they did as I saw a lot more options this time around and the prices seemed more reasonable as well. I got a medium sized cafe au lait for just under $4 delicious by the way. Snuggled into a cozy chair and began reading my novel. I pulled off the Mass Pike in search of coffee & found this lil place thanks to Yelp. It's cute, with lots of nearby parking available. I ordered their specialty latte (I think it was called honeybun? Honeybee? Honey something) & asked for it iced, half-sweet, with oat milk. It was still very, very sweet, so I'm glad I asked for half. There was absolutely nothing gluten-free available to eat, unfortch. I would not return if I was hungry in the area, but I might return for a fancy lil latte as a treat. Lots of windows, great natural light, nice staff. Overall sweet spot. read more

Every time I drive to western MA I plan to stop here. They have the most creative specials and delicious staples. Their social media a must follow, by the way. Their queen bee latte is a latte that a lot of cafes serve but they have the perfect ratio and the perfect amount of sweetness. Their espresso tastes so good. Their breakfast sandwiches are new and weekends only, and we were psyched that they had a non-pork choice. The sandwich was toasty and the aioli was perfect. They have tons of seating, and different types of seating. They have games, a bathroom, and extension cords. The service was great and they were very kind and quick! read more
