Great experience with Lufthansa. The stewards came a few times with drinks, water and tea. First they gave us nuts for snack. Then they came around with drinks, I got two Becks beer. Later they came around with dinner, which was curry chicken or rigatoni. An hour later, they gave out bottle of water. Later on, they came around with tea. Lastly, before we landed, they handed out a light breakfast empanada eggs with coffee. The flight was smooth with no turbulence! Also, I had extra leg space on both flights. Especially, when I was seating on the emergency exit row!

Nice once you get off the ground. Always seems to be delays but they seem to make it up most of the time. Decent service.

I did not have a good flight with Lufthansa. The departing gate at Frankfurt airport wasn't the best experience. There no organization when lining up for your group number, it's basically everyone just standing around instead of being in an organize line. They also don't put on the TV what group number they are boarding so everyone just have to listen to the PA system with their low volume. The plane itself was not comfortable for long flights. The entertainment system is very slow and not reactive on the touchscreen. The window seat doesn't have a lot of leg room because there was a metal box there.

Flew out of Frankfurt via Lufthansa Cityliner on the CRJ900 and it was a decent experience. Since I was transiting within the Schengen there was no security check, just a bus ride, a long walk underneath the terminal, and another elevator ride. As my incoming plane was delayed, our flight was slightly delayed. Counter agents walked by the departure gate to gate check carry-ons since the CRJ900 is a tiny plane. The inflight service consisted of a bottle of water, along with a piece of Lindt milk chocolate. There was no wifi for the 1 hour flight into Amsterdam. Cabin crew were available and seemed German. Once we landed in Amsterdam, we walked down the plane and walked back up to the terminal.

We spent over $2,000 on tickets with Lufthansa for the most important trip of our lives--our honeymoon--and they managed to damage not just our luggage, but the entire experience. Our suitcase didn't arrive "damaged." It arrived destroyed--like it had been dragged across a runway or run over by equipment. The shell was torn apart, deeply gouged, and covered in grime. Inside? Clothes crushed and stained, gifts ruined, and items missing entirely. Let that sink in. But somehow, the worst part wasn't even the destruction--it was what came after. We spent over 3 hours trying to get help, both on the phone and in person, only to be: Passed from one department to another Given completely different answers Sent in circles over and over Every single interaction felt the same: No ownership. No urgency. No real help. Just people who either didn't know what they were doing--or didn't care enough to figure it out. At some point, it stops feeling like disorganization and starts feeling like a system designed to wear you down until you give up. Imagine arriving for your honeymoon after 12+ hours of travel, only to deal with destroyed belongings, missing items, and hours of being bounced around like your situation doesn't matter. That's the reality of this experience. We've filed a formal claim and EVEN AFTER ONE MONTH have yet to hear back from an actual person to resolve our issue. For a $2,000+ trip, for a once-in-a-lifetime moment--this level of negligence and complete lack of accountability is unacceptable.

The boarding process and service on the flight earns 5 stars. It was the unboarding to a bus that packed us in like sardines that lowered the rating. Other than that, it was a very good flight from Kraków to Frankfurt. Everything went well from check-in to boarding at the airport. We were initially concerned that our carry-on luggage was too big. Lufthansa is usually very strict on size and weight. The young lady at the counter said it's not a full flight. All was good in the world from that point on. Thankfully she was right. She was also the same person who boarded us at the gate. I recalled a childhood memory while watching the flight attendant giving a child passenger a pin and some chocolate. The same thing happened to me when I was visiting my brother in Germany at the age of 12. I fondly remember receiving a chocolate egg with a miniature Lufthansa airplane inside of it. It was cool to see that they still do that today. It's the no frills type of Business Class seating that is standard on smaller aircraft. The middle seat is left unoccupied. Actually, there were a lot of open seats since the flight wasn't full. It made it more comfortable. We were served a light meal. We weren't expecting that. It was probably the best unexpected meal that I've ever had on an airplane. A Caprese burrata, fresh brötchen, and a Portuguese egg tart. The brötchen had a cheese topping. It was all very good. At the end of the flight, we were all given a mini sized Rizzati Ferrara Nocciola chocolate praline. It made my day. Honestly, I wish the US airlines would do something similar to set them apart. It's those little things that give lasting memories. The service was great! As I mentioned earlier, the schengen shuttle to Terminal 1 was a cluster. That was the only thing that dampened the experience. It's Frankfurt Airport. What can I say?

LUFTHANSA- Lisbon vacation was really great especially because we flew Lufthansa! Our flights were really smooth and on time . We flew from San Francisco to Frankfurt to Lisbon and then back . German engineering is definitely the best and we were treated very well. Discovered some German Rose that was really good too. Movie and Music selection was amazing ! And customer service was top tier . Look forward to our next flight !! Danke shun Lufthansa!!

This flight was my first flight on Lufthansa. I've been waiting for months to take this flight, as I have decided I couldn't handle the abuse from United Airlines any longer. With that, and both my eyes looking forward, new adventures and experiences await me. I took the long way from Los Angeles to Brussels via Vancouver and Munich on July 20th. The combination of being in seat 1-G, and a newer, A-350-900 with 3 camera views and a GPS guidance tracking was more than I could handle. BOARDING - The boarding was great. Business Class receives their own jetway which makes you feel very special, and brought the "boarding chaos" to level zero. Something American carriers have yet to figure out. SERVICE - I told my flight attendant that it was my first flight on both the aircraft, and Lufthansa, and I probably shouldn't have done that. She wanted to give me perfect service, in which the more she tried, the more frustrated she became. Service was excellent anyways, with only small mistakes that happens to newbies. QUALITY - The food and beverage quality were excellent. By the sounds of the menu, Lufthansa was going to go out of my safe zones in what I like and what I will try. They reined it in, and though the menus read more complicatedly than they were, everything was delicious. The classiest items I noticed were proper salt and pepper dispensers, and butter in a proper butter plate. Details keeps you in the dream, and one cheap short-cut could ruin it all. I think Lufthansa did an excellent job, and if the bean-counters try to change things at Lufthansa, Service Mangers, stand your ground. Anyone can be United, or American. WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE - For your intercontinental flights, fresh, heated rolls and cookies through First and Business Class would be a great idea. The smell would be incredible. When flying into a particular country, select a brand or two of whiskey or wine from that country. For example, from Canada, perhaps Crown Royal. Going to Mexico, you are already bringing Tequila. I am a whiskey drinker, and I was disappointed that they didn't carry Crown Royal Whiskey from a Canadian/German flight. This was an EXCELLENT first flight with Lufthansa, and it was a quick 11 hours over Greenland and down into Europe. The Europeans have made it all very easy. No need for forms or pens, and there were no exceptionally long lines. read more

I wish I could give this flight a 0 rating. Never ever booking with them again. No refunds, no vouchers, no help, and the customer service really sucks. Someone should cancel this airlines. Please cancel airlines so no one else gets scammed. They are big scammers, the worst in ever! read more

Worst airline and worst customer service . Lufthansa managed to lose my checked bag on two separate trips in a span of four weeks. After waiting on the phone for over 30 minutes and telling the customer service agent about my situation, he then tells me he doesn't handle luggage and can give me the luggage department's number if I want. So of course I'm irritiated and I let him know that Lufthansa is inefficient and they should have a prompt upfront when someone calls to dial this number for delayed or lost luggage so to not waste people's time. And when I asked him to give me the number, he says no and tells me to go to hell and hangs up on me. This just sealed the deal that I will never patronize such a disgusting and truly inefficient company. They deserve -100,000 stars. read more

Lufthansa has become psychopathic, not caring about customers or service, scamming people out of their money (in our case they canceled the flight and did not give our money back for upgraded seats). They used to be a good airline. Something horrible happened to their vision. Needless to say, we will be filing a complaint about a multitude of issues we have with this airline. We are pretty experienced travelers, but the complete lack of regard we received from this airline combined with lack of communication and scamming us out of our money is the new experience..stay away from this dishonest airline. read more
Disaster from beginning to end. Upgraded to premium economy from New York to Sweden at a price of about 500 € for two to get some extra luggage home. Had to pay 100 € extra in N.Y even though i asked the lady at the Lufthansa counter in Frankfurt before we left for the U.S if the premium economy baggage rules applied even though i booked economy from the beginning and upgraded later. She said yes. 1 bag (my wifes. You can imagine the hassle.....) was missing when we landed in N.Y even though we had 2 hours in Frankfurt before take off. Thanks to this we had to go back to Newark the next day loosing about 4 hours of hour christmas holiday, spending money on the taxi to get there and back. We barely had time to get back to the city and change clothes to get to our reservation at Eleven Madison Park wich was almost impossible to get a table at. For our 500 € upgrade we got a little bit more legroom, the same menu as economy/coach but we get metal utencils instead of plastic.... The service level on the flight home in premium economy was worst then any long haul economy flight i have been on when the stewardess constantly missed asking us if we wanted something to drink etc. Finally. I sent a email pretty much with the above info along with the missing bag number and all other info asking for some compansation or refund as i feel cheated. This was 6 weeks ago. The answer? They have not yet answered. No more Lufthansa for me in the future. read more

I feel dizzy it's like being on a round about that won't stop!!! Trying to get a hold of someone that can help me is a nightmare. I booked through American Express Platinum Travel, and even they are having problems. Lufthansa said to go through Amex, they told Amex I should contact directly on a feedback link which they do not respond to. They want to charge me $500 on my business class fully refundable ticket, even though they are not flying to the country of my destination anymore. WTF Lufthansa you use to be a great airline now like many others you are going down the wrong path and not looking after your customers. Shame on you...... read more

This is the absolute worse airline ever, they are liars, scammers and scum. I bought 2 ways ticket to Dubai I already visited Dubai few months ago 2 hours before my flight right when I am about to check in, the crappy staff tells me I can't check in because I don't have visa for Dubai, I told him its visa free for 30 days for USA citizens and I can extend it there free of charge. I was staying 2 days more than 30 days which can easily get extended or pay a small fine for overstaying. He makes up lies that I can't go back to Dubai for 90 days then tells me that I need to change my flight to to make it less than 30 days. My original ticket price was $966 with seat selected in advance he tells me the immigration office In Dubai will check my return tickets and if I don't have it, I can't enter Dubai and I may not even be allowed to come to Dubai because of my last visit. They force me in pressured situation when I had less than 2 hours to my flight to pay $1613.80 extra to change my flight date they made me wait for 40 minutes I was close to lose my flight, I had to borrow money to pay this ridiculous amount, then they don't even give me my ticket, they just gave me recipe, that's it!!! they tell me the ticket will be emailed to me. I flied to Munich for 11 hours and I was in Munich German airport for 9 hours they still did not email me I finally arrive to Dubai after 26 hours they STILL have not emailed me my return ticket. I was so stressed I barley slept from all the anxiety their lies gave me. The immigration office in Dubai did not even look or ask for my return ticket, I asked them is their such rule that you cannot return to Dubai for 90 days after 30 days visa free for American citizens, they told me no, I can come back anytime and it would be visa free. After I arrive in Dubai. I call Lufthansa and complain to them and in return they send me a link to fill out my complain its been more than 15 days they have not replied to my complain and refunded me. They ruined my 2023 charismas with their scam. After I called them they send me my ticket while I was already in Dubai for 1 day. Based on their lie I should have had my ticket before entering Dubai but they never emailed it. Also while I was flying to Munich one of the staff hit my head so hard I had to get an ice for my head. This is the worst airline ever, I ended up spending close to $2500, with less than that money I could have gotten a direct flight from Emirates Air line but I thought maybe I can save money with this airline. Avoid this airline at all cost they are liars, scammers, and certainly not a money saver. They will ruin your holidays and put you through pointless anxiety that is not healthy to your body and mental state. there is an old saying "I don't have money to buy cheap things" is very true towards Lufthansa and Swiss Airline since they are practically the same company. read more

I have had the worst customer service experience with Lufthansa. I and my husband booked a flight from NYC to Israel, with our 3 cats. Before booking the flight, we triple checked there were 3 available spots for our cats. Two of them were booked in the hold, on my name, and the third cat was booked in the cabin, on my husband's name. As agreed with Lufthansa. A few days before the fight, I found out by chance, that the cat in the cabin, wasn't booked properly. Lufthansa's agent did a mistake and didn't book him all the way to Israel. Only from Germany to Israel and not from NY as it should be. Since then, we have been on the phone with Lufthansa, every day, sometimes 4 hours a day, asking to resolve a problem we didn't solve. We changed the day of the flight to Sep 13th, in order to get the spots, but no solution has been provided. No one cares. The representatives often hand up the phone when they get tired of the situation. Some of then are being very rude. None of them offered a solution, although we have spoken with many supervisors. 3 days ago I spoke with supervisor Diana and she said the only way to solve the problem and get the third cat on board, would be to upgrade to business. She also said it would be at my expense. I said I think it wouldn't be appropriate but I would do it anyway because I wanted to get this done. I asked Diana to please call me back if the call would be dropped, Diana said she would upgrade me quickly and that should be ok. The call was dropped or hanged? Diana didn't call me back. We called right after and asked to upgrade as agreed with Diana. but the rep that took the call said Dinan wrote in the notes: "the customer didn't agree to pay the upgrade" This wasn't true. I said I would pay, although I wasn't happy about it. We have also emailed customer relations 3 times. No personal response. Every call is a nightmare. Either the rep shut the phone down, or The call is being dropped. I always ask to call me back if the call is being dropped but no one has ever called back. Lufthansa does not take responsibility for the mistake that was done on the company's end. Sometimes the representatives blame us for not booking the cat properly. How on earth I could be responsible for booking the cat only halfway if I'm flying all the way from NYC to Israel. Sometimes they say Israel has changed the animal regulations, which is not true (our animal has already gotten all the permits to enter Israel and none of the Israeli relevant offices confirms this). We have already changed the date of the fight once, in order to try and solve the situation. We told the company we would be willing to do ANYTHING!! to upgrade the ticket, even to buy a third human ticket. Whatever it takes to solve the problem and bring the cats with us. We already missed the Holiday with our family in Israel since the original flight was on Sep the third. All the 3 cats were booked on that flight. We had confirmation for all the 3. We had to pay another month's rent because of Lufthansa. Our apartment is already empty. luckily we didn't remove the bed yet! We weren't supposed to stay in the US anymore. We are highly disappointed with Lufthansa. We have chosen this airline because we thought they would be great with our cats. But the opposite has happened. We call every day and we are already tired, tortured, and devastated. We don't know what to do. read more

I was on a short flight from Frankfurt to Nice on Lufthansa. Although it was only a 1 1/2 hour flight, the two flight attendants served everyone a yogurt drink & a packet of fresh apple slices then came by with a drink cart including complementary bottled wine! Pretty darn good for an economy class hopper flight. See a few pictures. read more
This was our first time traveling with Lufthansa Airlines, departing from Madrid Spain to Munich Germany. It happened to be the same day that the airline pilots decided to go on strike. Good thing we were on the last flight out from Madrid to Munich Germany before the strike started. Our flight was delayed departing from Madrid, but we actually arrived on time to Munich Germany (thank goodness for tail winds!) What warrants a 5-star rating for Lufthansa was -- my husband and I had a connecting international flight from Munich to Toronto Canada (within 40 min of our arrival to Munich). Every minute was precious or else we would completely miss the only flight out of Munich to Toronto! Immediately after we got out of the plane in Munich, there was a Lufthansa agent waiting for the passengers that needed to get onto the connecting Toronto flight! There were 6 of us total & he escorted us through the huge airport to the customs line. He even got us to the front of the customs line since our international flight was about to depart! We quickly went through customs and the agent continued to escort us to the Air Canada flight to Toronto! We had only 15 min to spare to get our boarding pass from the agent at the counter & then board the plane! The 6 of us were pretty much the last ones to board this transatlantic flight! Phew!! What a relief to make this flight on time, we give credit to the organization & efficiency of Lufthansa for making this happen! :) glad they had that agent waiting for us once we arrived in Munich. There was no way that we would've been able to locate the customs area and then get to our next gate if we had to do it all on our own! Note: we really liked the thin seats on our Lufthansa flight, I've never seen such thin seats before on any USA based flights. Also our flight was only two hours from Madrid to Munich, yet they still served a meal, incredible. I've never heard of that before? The reason we would give it 4 stars out of 5 is that this airline went on strike 4 times already in a span of 1 year, isn't that enough already?! :) other than that, they are great. read more

While leaving Greece on my way back to Vancouver I had a stop over in Munich Germany. I flew to Greece on Sept 05...I had done my research on what I needed as far a Covid shots and documentations. I had both my Covid shots and my documents. I called Lufthasa's 1800 customer service line a number of times before I left to clarify that I was ok to travel. I also called the Vancouver airport and checked on the Canadian travel website. They all told me all I needed was my shots and my documents. I didn't think the rules would change just in 3 weeks, but they did and I was too trusting of the system. However, on the 21st when I was about to leave Greece on my way back to Canada the Lufthansa agent told me that the Canadian Government had changed the rules and now everyone vaccinated or not needed to get a Covid test in order to be allowed entry back into the country. The agent told me I could get tested at the airport...after mass confusion, and the staff not knowing what they were doing I was given the wrong test. I got three all the check points in Athens and arrived in Munich Germany with my test paper nobody noticed a thing that is was the wrong test until I was trying to board my connecting flight back to Canada. Now so far I am willing to take responsibility for not checking myself to find out which test I needed to enter Canada, even though I still believe the staff in the airports could have been more careful and diligent, but this is not why I got the most upset. After I was denied entry onto the flight I was told to go to Lufthansa customer service, which I did. There was one older German lady working by herself trying to assist another 12 passengers that had missed their flights for the same reason. She was the meanest, coldest sour person I have ever dealt with in customer service. She was working at a snails pace and didn't seem to care that we were all about to loose our flights. When it was my turn to talk to her I asked her how I got threw all the Lufthansa check points in Athens without any of their staff noticing that I had the wrong test? The flight from Athens to Munich was also Lufthansa as was the man in Athens that I was checking in with who told me to go downstairs in the airport and get the test done. How did they all miss the fact that I had done the wrong test, but then it was noticed by another agent in Munich? Very bizarre and disorganized if you ask me. The lady at customer service in Germany never once gave me any sympathy, kindness or understanding...never once did she say I'm sorry this happened to you, but instead she started trying to pin all the blame on me like I was stupid or something. She was the coldest person I've ever dealt with at customer service. I don't understand how any of these rude people can get a job in customer service with no people skills? The more she kept talking the angrier I was getting. She tried to tell me it was all my responsibility and even ganged on me with another agent who walked out of the back drinking a perrier. I asked where this information was about getting a Covid test to come back to Canada and when she couldn't find it I said it's not that easy is it? She didn't like that. The problem escalated and at one point she asked for my phone. I don't know why I gave it to her, but she took a picture of this sight with all the countries of the world and which tests were required for entering these countries, but again she couldn't tell me which test Canada required. How rude of her to take my phone. When I was lol king at her name badge she looked up at me and said very rudely it's Hilda Guere...like she didn't even care for g I complained. She was mailing me in her own way trying to tell me I don't care if you complain. I'm union nothing will happen. Yes believe it or not she was that rude and sour! I won't get into the rest too much because it's not relevant but I missed my flight LH 976 at 16:10 back to Vancouver. My ticket number was 3902448506338 in case any Lufthansa executives are reading this. I spent the night in the airport with rude security gurards telling me to pull up my mask when I was in distant airport wing alone and trying to sleep on a bench. Yes the Munich airport staff were that rude also. It left me with a really bad experience of Germany. read more

I am from Germany and I thought Lufthansa was legit. BUT it cant be further fro the truth. 1. You wait for more than half an hour and then the representatives are truly the WORST ive ever experience through out my life. I cant believe this is a german company... I really cant. they are unfriendly, incompetent and unprofessional. I talked to 4 people and 3 hang up on me and 1 was lying to me, he said my flight got rebooked and I just have to wait for the confirmation email which never came. And I called again for the 5th time this evening and they said no flight was rebooked! OMG. how is this a "successful" company? I am beyond upset, and i swear to never ever ever fly with lufthansa again. AND PLEASE save yourself time and money and health: DONT fly with them. Their airplanes are also not that great either. DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE. They are scammers. Lufthansa engages in deceitful practices, scamming, and elder abuse. The most unhelpful customer service ever. Firstly it is impossible to contact their customer service. I had to call a hundred times a day, the line kept dropping after hours on hold when I was able to get them. I have been trying to rebook for over a year. I have emailed, direct messaged on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, submitted their form complaint on their website, and, if I receive a response, it's the same one -- call customer service. But if I can even get through to customer service, the call disconnects -- every single time. I've come to believe it is their MO to disconnect people until their credits expire so they can keep their money without providing any service. Terrible. At this point, I've lost so much faith in the company, I'm afraid to get on one of their planes, especially after reading so many horror stories of lost luggage and being stranded in airports due to canceled connections. read more

Bags were lost between Rome-Munich- Paris. Did my due diligence and reported the bags lost. Lufthansa agent gave me a non-working QR code to scan to report the lost luggage...thanks for that. Only reason we were able to retrieve our bags was because of this forum. Called the number above. Address is still the same. They would not answer calls from US numbers, only answered the incredibly helpful cab driver and front desk numbers (Paris numbers). Were told that our bags would be delivered on day 3 of vacation but did not arrive...no surprise. Finally my husband had to waste an entire day of vacation in Paris....$100 dollar Eiffel Tower ticket wasted!!! This is unacceptable treatment from a worldwide airline. Southwest gets lost luggage back to you quicker. I picked Lufthansa because we have had previous good experiences... needless to say I would rater fly Ryan Air. The worst is they can't be held accountable. The customer is not first or correct. Once the luggage is in the hands of the couriers its "out of their hands". What's more is that when trying to get a refund for the clothes we had to purchase because we had none...we were told we need to mail them back to Lufthansa along with a receipt for reimbursement. We went to H&M for clothes not Versace. Also, if you haven't received your bag yet it is sitting in the wharehouse...my husband said he say around 100 bags covered in dust. This entire situation is totally unacceptable. read more

Beware !!!! Lufthansa not animal friendly at all. We bought a ticket from France to Boston for our son on December 15th in economy. At the time of booking we tried to book the small shipoo but could no way to do so versus other airlines where it is super easy. But things got better, I finally called and looking at my ticket I was told oh for economy the dog in cabin quotas has been reached I said what they said yes only option is to upgrade to economy premium and then dog under your seat in cabin are available. I could not believe it was told one way the cost would be 600 $ while the round trip ticket was 450$. I asked to talk to a manager and was told none were available they were all in a meeting. I said I would hold and was put bon hold and could hear the crew of support laughing in the back so humiliating. Is this how Lufthansa treats their customers never seen this !!! If you look at the airline company website they were even recommending to book the dog at check in " You can pay to transport your pet at check-in or at the Lufthansa service counter at the airport" When we reached out to the Lufthansa social media team showing them that there was no way to book a flight and be sure to be able to bring a dog I was told too bad nothing we can or will do I will lose my 450$ it seems as we will have to find a pet friendly company and book another flight Read the article this is insane read more

Lufthansa owes thousands (tens of thousands?) of travelers refunds, compensations and their bags! Their summertime travel bungles are still happening daily! I'm seeing complaints from as recent as October 17th where flights were canceled and people are being told they can only get the taxes back! If you already booked a ticket with them, you HAVE to fly with them. They will promise a refund, but 11 months later, the funds still haven't arrived. Whatever you do, do NOT solve your cancelation problem by booking your own flight and assuming you'll get the refund you're entitled to by law. Just wait in the customer service line for a day or two and get them to rebook you. Otherwise you're out the money. Don't believe me? Do not flight Lufthansa. They were delayed from Malpensa to Frankfurt so more than 80 passengers miss the flight. We got to the gate and the the airplane was still there but they didn't let us in because the plane was already full. They sold our seats and they acted like it was a normal thing to happen in this Lufthansa. The Lufthansa staff send us to the wrong desk for help. They basically wash their hands, and it was no ones "Fault" This airline is about the worst and I had flown in bad airlines before. read more

and I flew Business class../Worst Airline of the world, and this is coming from someone that has flown bad airlines... Lufthansa tops them all as the worst airline.. they lost my luggage for my whole trip to Europe, many valuables where there, specially my great grandfathers watch that was passed on to me.. they made me miss important meetings, because they never got my luggage to me.. they made me spent thousands of dollars in clothes and other personal items, image buying a weeks supply for business meeting, and will NEVER reimburse you... they treat you very bad, everybody, if you call to see status of your luggage, they literally insult you.. I flew Business Class..avoid this airline, fly KLM or any other, they are rude and unappreciated of your business read more

I gave one star because there is not a lower choice offered otherwise it would be no stars . Lufthansa hires subcontractors for its airport staff , hires non employees for customer service where they work from their homes . Customer service people are powerless to help and quote strict company policy without regard to the circumstances. in my lifetime I have never encountered the type of poor customer service Lufthansa has demonstrated in my situation . I would suggest to anyone to not book travel on Lufthansa online. The first name ion my and my wife's reservation was incorrect and I had to get a new ticket at much higher prevailing rates with no refund for the original ticket which cost us over $6000.00 In losses. This company really doesn't care about its customer service and is mostly interested in profiteering from its customers . Terrible Management to allow Such awful customer service . read more

I have been on the phone holding to speak to rep for over one hour. It is critical information regarding an upcoming trip and covid testing. They do not have a "real" chat line and it is impossible to get any answers about this from their web page. I hope I do not need to speak to anyone while I am away. Unfortunately, I am stuck now but will rethink this airline in the future. read more

I had a flight cancelled due to COVID last year, so I had a flight credit totaling about $800. I called Lufthansa's customer service line to rebook and spent a total of over 3 hours waiting. When I finally got through and selected new flights, the representative informed me it was going to cost me an additional $39. I had the same flights pulled up on the Lufthansa website and the total was $702, below the value of my credit, so I asked where that extra cost was coming from. Instead of explaining, the rep HUNG UP ON ME. This is absolutely atrocious treatment. Lufthansa is taking advantage of all the confusion and cancellations COVID caused to swindle their clients and make more money. read more

From my one recent experience, there are several positives about flying Lufthansa from Frankfurt to Los Angeles in economy class. The service onboard the plane was very pleasant, and the food was well above average. The first meal - a lunch - was served with metal utensils and was excellent for an airline meal. There was a wide range of movies from which to choose. I felt the legroom in economy on the Airbus A380-800 was not particularly good. Also, when the person in front of you reclines, there is very little space left between the back of their seat and yourself. An issue I wish to point out to the airline: our flight was from London Heathrow, connecting at Frankfurt to LAX. To get from the Lufthansa London-Frankfurt flight to the Frankfurt-LAX flight, we had to pass through a first document check station, a full security check, and a second document check station. The distance from the first flight to the second was very long and, although there was a Skytrain, there was a great deal of walking involved. Unfortunately, one member of our group was detained for what we understand to be random secondary inspection, along with many other travellers. The people selected for secondary inspection were detained for quite a long time and, I'm told, the security personnel were not polite. Lufthansa had only allowed for about 1 hour between the two flights. This was not enough time, considering the long distance between the two flights, all of the security checkpoints, and the possibility of secondary inspections. Also, the security officials and Lufthansa personnel were not kind with respect to the stress created. In summary, once on the FRA-LAX flight, the service and food was very good. Legroom and space generally not comfortable in economy. The layout and function of the airport and Lufthansa's tight timeframe to make the connection from London Heathrow, made the transition from the first flight to the connecting flight quite stressful. read more

Flight BOS to MUC, LH425 on Nov 11, 2022, cancelled just a few hours before the flight. Reason was pilot scheduling conflict. My partner and I rebooked same flight for the following day, Nov 12, and arrived at our final destination ok with 24hr delay. This is not the reason for the "one star". Following the suggestion of the Lufthansa representative who we spoke to, we filed a request to be reimbursed for the cancelled flight according to the Lufthansa website. That started a stream of surreal email with customer representatives who do not seem to be in the USA or EU (maybe India judging by the names?) and who kept replying with stock email text, copy and paste, not really communicating and making us go in circles. At some point they agreed to reimburse my partner in the amount of $900, then Euro 600.50, then $832. So far no deposit in her bank account. We also connected with Lufthansa via phone since we thought she had been scammed by how unprofessional these emails were. This has really affected our trust in and respect of the airline and rethinking our loyalty to it. read more

Just to start Lufthansa has an absolute abismal customer service center, was on hold for a total of 7 hours for about 2 days trying to talk to someone. And when I was able to finally talk to someone they were absolutely no help at all. They would not help or cooperate with United (United was so nice an accommodating to us they were a Godsend). We did everything in our power to try and board our flight and Lufthansa would not budge and help us rebook or even give a refund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

I have been flying with Lufthansa as my only airline for 25 years. Today I was appalled. My mother and I left from Hannover this am to Frankfurt, to continue our journey to San Diego. My mother requested and confirmed her wheelchair assistance. The flight from Hannover was 35 min late but with the proper assistance we could have made our next flight to San Diego. People were stressing so much once we landed, the opened the back door of the plane and the Stewardesses just hurried everybody off to catch the waiting bus. My mom told her she needed a wheelchair but she said she would help my mom get down the stairs. Again we were rushed towards the bus and again I asked the bus driver for the wheelchair. He told us yes it's at the terminal. Once everyone got off, we stood there with no one in sight. A Steward saw us phoned for help, again we were left standing until I helped my mom get into the building to get help. Again we had to wait. By now all flights had left. We were stranded at Frankfurt, they checked us into the hotel and told us that the next available flight would be tomorrow same time. No apology no upgrade just an " oh well". Tough luck ! I'm so disappointed with Lufthansa. Their attitude today was appalling. read more

Never had a more infuriating experience with any company ever. I spend hours upon hours over a month long period trying to find the best multi city flight into Eurpoe. I finally found the perfect itinerary and tried to book thourgh google flights. THey said I needed to call Luthansa directly and pay $60 booking fee as online was not available. I called and spent 1 hour 15 minutes with the agent getting her all the details. THere was a language barrier, so it took a bit longer. She gave me my flight booking numbers and and said I would get my itinierary and receipt via email in a day or two becuase it was the weekend. I waited until Wedneday and called to see why I did not get it and then checked my credit card and also noted no charges. The agent confirmed that the agent entered everything correctly but that the office did not issue the ticket. Apparently they never hit the confirm button. At least that is what I was told by the first agent. I could see online that that particular flight had now gone up $2K for the three of us. I told her I would like to speak to a supervisor about matching the price I agreed to. SHe said there were no supervisors and the only way to escalate was to go online and fill out the feedback form. I made her stay on the phone with me to make sure I found the proper form. Filled it out and hit send only to get an "system error" check back later. I told her that was not acceptable and I needed to speak to someone immediately. SHe hung up on me. I called back in and asked to speak to a suprvisor and was told again there are no supervisors. How a large airline can operate without any supervisors is beyond me. I calmed down and aksed her to see if I could rebook the flight to see what price she was getting. After aout 1/2 hour, she came back and said the return flight was no longet availbale. I told her that was impossibel, I could see it was available online. She tried again and then told me my new total price for three passengers was $14,700. $11K more than what I originally booked for. THis time I hung up and decided to find alternate flights. I literally spent 5 hours today trying to rebook my flight. I now have to change my dates and destinations, just to get an affordable flight. I was warned NEVER to fly Luthansa by friends and now I know why. Avoid this airline at all costs. read more
I am a frequent flyer with American and United Airlines and travel every week within US and occasionally in international routes. I have flown in quite a few major airlines in the world in first, business and economy class. This is my first time flying Lufthansa business because of its star alliance partnership with United. I must acknowledge that I had one of the best experience flying from DFW to FRA to DXB. The cabin crew in both segments were extremely friendly and accommodating of all requests in a very polite manner. It was nice of the parser to come and introduce herself as soon as we boarded at DFW. The flight attendants were always alert and asking if I needed anything before I asked and very prompt in responding to call button. Food and beverage selections were of high quality and nice to see that Lufthansa selects the menu items keeping dietary restrictions for all cultures and religions, there's something for everyone in the short menu. The business class flat seats were comfortable for me. However, someone taller and heavier than me may have a bit issue stretching. Overall, my experience with Lufthansa and its cabin crew was extremely enjoyable and it will be at the top my of list in my future international travel from US to wherever Lufthansa flies. #Airwolf read more

Shady, dishonest customer service. Anyone who flies regularly knows bulkhead seats are generally less legroom than the regular seats. I even requested to be moved from first class on a U.S. flight to premium because the bulkhead killed the room I had to stretch my leg. Anyway, I paid an extra $125 for a seat I confirmed with customer service was "extra legroom." I asked multiple times to confirm this was a bulkhead seat with extra legroom and I was told yes, so I paid the extra amount. When I got on the plane, I come to find out that they lied to me, which I confirmed by stretching my legs in the non-bulkhead seat behind me. I requested a refund which I regularly followed up on, and trusted that they would look into. In hindsight I am an idiot for not contesting this with my credit card immediately. I got the run around for months with no resolve, saying they were working on it. At this point, with multiple follow up emails and calls, I don't even hear from them anymore. This airline is terrible with horrible customer service. Do not fly on this scummy airline if you don't want to be ripped off. read more

I used to love Lufthansa back in the day but not anymore. 5 hours late Miami to Frankfurt with hardly any updates and conflicting information. Then no breakfast served because crew was over their time. Then. Frankfurt to Cairo. They load the bus to get to a remote plane and we waited on an overcrowded bus for 45 min. They told us the plane had a problem so the took us to another plane. Been 90 minutes now and no restroom very poor air circulation and again no updates. Problems happen and I don't judge an airline for weather or mechanicals but I do judge them for how they respond. I will never fly Lufthansa again read more

My son got married in Santorini Greece and we booked flights with Lufthansa through United Airlines from Charlotte to Munich and then to Athens. What was supposed to be a wonderful trip was ruined by the lack of customer service and professionalism when one of our group needed a name change on the boarding pass so that it matched his passport. The attendant was rude, yelling that he could not help. My daughter and husband stayed behind and four of us boarded the plane. The three of them spent two days on the phone trying to get it taken care of and was unable to get to Santorini until late May 23, missing the welcome dinner for the wedding. Those of us who flew onto Santorini could not do anything because we had to leave the only person with an international drivers license behind in Charlotte NC. Plus, I had a broken foot and my husband could not fly with me. The person whose name was incorrect felt targeted because he is African American. Although we were finally reunited with our party the trip was ruined and we just had to make the best of it. Lufthansa tried to do the same thing on the way back. They were not going to let our friend on the plane for the same reason except that time we did not move and just to get us out of the way the lady fixed it and let him on. It could have been fixed that quickly coming over but for some reason Lufthansa would not do it. Pay a little more and fly with another airline. My family will never recover the time and experiences missed because of what Lufthansa did. read more
Lufthansa is by far the worst airline ever. I solely fly them from California to Frankfurt ONLY because of their internet feature. If another airline gets an internet feature to fly from either California or Boston to Frankfurt, I will immediately change all future travel plans. Complaint 1: This airline rips you off. For example, I have flown back and forth to Germany nine times this year. Everytime I purchase a ticket, I add my miles and more number. Hoewver, EVERY time I get to the airport, the rewards number is simply not there and i'm told that it's SIMPLE to add the miles after the flight. I'm told that ALL I have to do is keep my ticket and I can just fill out a form and voila, it works. This is a blantant lie. If you are told this lie, do not leave the counter. Adding points retroactively is nearly impossible. First, you have to fill out a form online, this form asks for twelve fields such as booking class (economy A, B, C, D, E F, G, etc), ticket number beginning with 220, date and time of flight, gate number etc. Unlike the representative said, it is not possible to find all of these things on your boarding pass. In that case, Lufthansa forces you to pay 20 euros to get the information that you don't have. Simply calling them won't help you. They say that they can't access it and it's a different apartment. The form asks you to wait up to a month to hear back from them. And, don't let me forget to mention that you have to do all of this within six months. Complaint 2: Everytime I fly, something doesn't work. Whether my T.V., my seatback (on a seat where it is suppose to) or they forget my gluten free meal so I end up not being able to eat very much. During the flight, I never want to be rude or cause too much havoc, as I won't die without a t.v. or without my seat leaning back. However, I do feel that after multiple occasions, if nothing else, I should at least be able to file a formal complaint. No can do. Complaint 3: I have written a letter and called three different offices ranging form their south africa office to their German office and various emails from both the lufthansa.de and the lufthansa.com websites. Their response? You've written the wrong dept, please call customer service. read more

Hands down the WORST airline experience I have ever had. Absolutely despicable customer service over and over again. Canceled flight with no warning and no offer to refund what I paid for it. Customer service is still giving me the run around THREE WEEKS later. ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC. Will NEVER FLY with these jerks again and will make sure every single person I come in contact with that travels will hear my story. These people should not be allowed to operate a business. The short truth is that Lufthansa genuinely does not care about its customers and their experience. They will take your money, keep it when you do not get the service and will treat you like a less-than-human the whole time. Traveling is stressful enough. Learn from my mistakes and do not choose to fly with this airline. This is the detailed version of what happened: I had a business trip booked taking me from SFO to Frankfurt and then on to Verona. Because of a co-workers diligence in checking on things we found out that my second flight had been canceled due to the strikes. Lufthansa gave me NO notification of this. Thank god for the diligence of my co-worker. When I arrived to SFO to check in for the first leg of my journey I went to the counter to see what could be done about the canceled flight. Despite my pleasant attitude when I approached the desk (I understand strikes, I have a lot of European friends) I was received by the most horrible woman I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. She told me she could help me with nothing and I had to call to re-book. I let her know that I had been trying to call since I woke up and that the lines were so busy they would not even ring through. She had no response to that and just stood there glaring at me. When I realized I was going to get nowhere on that issue I moved on to my second question about possibly paying to upgrade to a slightly better seat on my first flight. She replied in the snottiest tone possible "Yeah, for $900 dollars." At that point I just gathered up my things, said thank you and walked away. That woman alone was enough for me to never want to deal with this airline again. It would be one thing if I was unpleasant when I approached her, but I was not. I have worked in customer service a lot and I know that these people have no control over these situations and are just the messengers. They do have control over their attitudes though! I never was able to get through to re-book anything and ended up buying a $275 train ticket and taking 9 hours of train rides to get to my destination, replacing my 1 hour flight. Once I was at my destination I borrowed the phone of a co-worker that had a good international plan and called to see what would be done about issuing me a refund, etc. A VERY rude person answered and told me I had to email customer relations. Ok. I emailed. I heard nothing. Seven days later I followed up, only to get a reply that proved the agent writing had not even read my initial request of a few lines. I wrote back to clarify. Days. Again, a reply not answering my question. I clarified. Days. Another email, this time about my return trip and how I am in the wrong because they booked a hotel for me, etc. for my messed up journey back. (Oh, did I mention they completely messed up my return trip in the mean time and I was stuck in Germany for 17 hours?!) I wrote back again to clarify that I was not talking about my return trip, but as my initial inquiry clearly stated was asking about my trip going over and being refunded for a flight they canceled. I am STILL WAITING. Other fun notes: -$35 to be able to select a seat? Come on! -Delayed flights first thing in the morning -Very expensive flights for horrible service -Terrible customer service when my Father called to find out the status of my flight when the Lufthansa website did not update. Given that they had just lost a plane in a crash and everyone perished you would think they would have at least been more helpful in that moment. Nope! Shame on you Lufthansa. read more

To: Carsten Spohr CEO Von-Gablenz-Straße 2-6 50679 Köln, Germany Dear Mr. Spohr, On July 3, 2016, I sent the first letter by email to you, Mr. Carsten Spohr, CEO of Lufthansa. In this letter I asked you to make sure that my return ticket to ... is not cancelled because I was not able to return to ... on March 30, 2016 because of my medical condition. Currently I am still in rehabilitation in two hospitals here in Toronto, Canada in order to recover from my brain injury and brain operation that followed. For some unexplainable reason, the response that came from you indicated that you could not find my name in the passengers' list of the flights I took with your airline even though I have provided you with my full first and last name, the flights dates, and the flights numbers. I must say that in this time of terrorism, it is worrisome that you were not able to find me in the list of the passengers. Today (July 22, 2016) at 5:00pm I called the Lufthansa Reservations Centre of Peterborough Ontario Canada. The phone number I called was 1-800-563-5954 and I spoke with ... (agent sign: ..., location call centre: ...). I gave him my full first and last name, the flights dates, and the flights numbers. I asked him to give me my flight ticket number based on the information that I provided him. He could not find my name in the passenger lists of these flights. He was able to find out that I have been on these flights only after I actually provided him with my ticket number. Lufthansa is the largest airline in Europe. It is truly very disturbing to find out that safety concerns are not on the top of the list of Lufthansa. In addition, there was a delay of the flight from Frankfurt to Toronto due to mechanical problems with the airplane. I had to stay overnight in Frankfurt before continuing my journey to Toronto while I was after brain injury and in need of medical attention. In addition, when I called the Lufthansa Reservations Centre of Peterborough Ontario Canada before my return flight to ... which was scheduled for March 30, 2016, they were rude when I asked them to postpone my flight back to ... because all my doctors in Canada advised me to continue with treatment for rehabilitation before I return to ... I did not have the strength at the time to argue with the people of Lufthansa Reservations Centre. In addition, after a few reminders from me by email, you responded to my request by asking me for information stating that you could not find me in the passengers list of flight ... that left ... to Frankfurt on February 23, 2016 and you could not find my name on the passenger list of the flight that left to Toronto from Frankfurt. You asked me to provide you with my ticket number or the reservation code. On July 15, 2016 I sent you my Lufthansa itinerary which includes the booking reference and the ticket number and my boarding ticket from Frankfurt to Toronto which includes the ticket number. I have not heard from you yet despite the fact that I have sent you several reminders. In addition, as I have stated previously in my two letters to you, I will provide you with all necessary medical documentation from my doctors in Canada and in ... I think that any other airline would have postponed my flight due to my serious medical condition and given all the difficulties that your airline has caused me, I would expect a compensation too. I look forward to your response soon. Yours truly, I received a response from Lufthansa a month later saying that I have to pay $600 for my return (the round trip ticket cost me $700). I will take them to court. read more

If you need to reach Lufthansa, their main customer service numbers are +44 (800) 652-9732™. They are available 24/7 for booking flights, making changes, or getting any kind of support. You can easily use these numbers from anywhere in the UK to manage your reservations. Also, just a quick tip: if you need to cancel your booking, you can get a full refund as long as you do it within 24 hours of booking and your flight is at least 7 days away. I recently flew with Lufthansa and got to experience their different cabins. Honestly, their Economy is pretty decent if you just want a standard, budget-friendly flight with good entertainment. But if you can, upgrading to Premium Economy is totally worth it for the extra legroom, wider seats, and better food. Now, if you are looking to splurge, their Business Class (Club World) is next level--the lounge access is amazing, the seats lie completely flat so you can actually sleep, and the meals are great. Across the board, the crew was super friendly and helpful. Definitely a solid choice no matter which class you fly. 1. Seamless Reservations & Elite Travel Planning The Lufthansa journey begins with a booking process designed entirely around flexibility and efficiency. Passengers securing a Business Class (Club World) ticket are met with premium seating choices, priority benefits, and highly adaptable itinerary options. The booking system handles flight schedules, traveler details, and seating preferences effortlessly, delivering an instant, well-organized itinerary that ensures peace of mind right from the start. 2. Priority Ground Experience & Exclusive Lounge Access Flying premium completely redefines the time spent at the airport, replacing long queues with absolute comfort. Dedicated check-in desks ensure a swift arrival at the terminal, while fast-track security lanes offer a smooth, expedited path straight to the departure gates. Once past security, passengers gain access to exclusive airport lounges--elegant spaces featuring comfortable seating, complimentary refreshments, quiet workspaces, and a peaceful atmosphere to unwind before the flight. Priority boarding caps off the ground experience, allowing travelers to step onto the aircraft early and settle in without any rush. 3. Sophisticated Cabin Comfort & Signature Hospitality Once on board, the premium cabin environment showcases a dedication to comfort, privacy, and impeccable service. The spacious seating layout offers generous legroom and clever design touches, creating a perfect space for both getting work done or getting a good night's sleep. The cabin is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and quiet refinement. Throughout the journey, the highly professional cabin crew delivers attentive, courteous, and personalized service, ensuring every passenger feels genuinely valued. 4. Refined Arrival Services & End-to-End Excellence The premium treatment doesn't stop when the wheels touch the ground. Upon arrival, priority baggage handling ensures that your luggage is among the first on the carousel, letting you exit the airport and get on with your day without unnecessary delays. From the moment you book your ticket to the time you collect your bags at your final destination, Lufthansa coordinates every detail to deliver a seamless, sophisticated, and deeply satisfying travel experience. read more

The official 'customer service **Lufthansa** (toll-free) number is **1 (888) 305-4803™ or +1 (888)~305~4803** for additional assistance. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for passengers needing help with reservations, flight changes, cancellations, rebooking, baggage inquiries, refunds, and other travel-related concerns. The customer service team assists travelers with managing existing bookings, updating itineraries, exploring alternative travel options, and addressing questions throughout the travel process. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. Unfortunately, this Southwest Airlines experience fell short of expectations. I paid an extra **$140** for seats that appeared to offer a better arrangement during the booking process. However, after my wife and I boarded the aircraft, we realized the seating layout differed from what had been displayed at purchase. Paying additional fees only to encounter an uncomfortable seating situation was disappointing. My assigned seat, **6K**, lacked adequate cushioning, making the journey more uncomfortable than expected. I relied on extra pillows and blankets for lower back support throughout much of the flight. On longer trips, seat comfort can make a significant difference in the overall passenger experience. The customer service process proved equally frustrating. I first contacted an agent in Detroit seeking clarification regarding my flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Chicago, where I was informed they could not assist and was given yet another number to call. That representative ultimately redirected me back to the original Detroit contact. Only after several calls and repeated explanations did an agent finally provide the information I had requested from the start. After boarding, I found the aircraft itself attractive and well-maintained, and most of the flight attendants appeared hardworking and professional despite managing a busy cabin. However, the overall environment deteriorated as the flight progressed. A number of passengers were noisy and inconsiderate, and the lavatories became increasingly untidy within a few hours, with wet floors and sinks requiring attention. Although the cabin crew deserved recognition for their efforts and professionalism, the inconsistent customer service, uncomfortable seating experience, and declining cleanliness ultimately overshadowed the positives. Based on this experience, I would strongly compare alternatives before booking Southwest Airlines for a similar trip in the Future. read more

Dear Lufthansa Team, I am writing to you with deep disappointment and frustration regarding my recent experience as a passenger of your airline. It is imperative that I convey my utter displeasure and make you fully aware of the extent of my dissatisfaction. Let me start by pointing out the absolute lack of respect and consideration towards your customers when it comes to your customer service. Waiting for endless hours to receive a response, only to be greeted by apathetic and incompetent staff, is simply unacceptable. Your telephone line seems to be nothing but a façade, as I never managed to obtain a satisfactory solution to my issues. Furthermore, it is outrageous that your refund policy is nothing short of a mockery to passengers. How dare you withhold a portion of the money that rightfully belongs to us when you are the ones responsible for flight changes? Your lack of transparency and your miserly approach instead of guaranteeing a full refund demonstrate a complete lack of business ethics. As if that weren't enough, I am deeply frustrated by the lack of direct and professional communication with your representatives. A call center in India? Do you honestly believe that is sufficient to provide quality service? As a passenger, I expected personalized treatment and proper attention from the airline, not to be treated as just another number in your deficient customer service system. I demand that you take these complaints seriously and take immediate steps to improve your customer service. As a renowned airline, you should be ashamed of how you treat your customers. Review your policies, train your staff, and provide swift and fair solutions to the issues that arise during flights. As a consumer, I have the right to expect quality service and a satisfactory experience. If Lufthansa cannot meet these basic expectations, then it does not deserve the loyalty of passengers. I am determined to share my negative experience with fellow travelers on any available platform to warn them about the hardships they will face if they choose to fly with your airline. I sincerely hope that you take my concerns seriously and work diligently to rectify these severe deficiencies in your service. Customer satisfaction should be your number one priority, and until you demonstrate genuine change, I will vehemently refuse to consider Lufthansa as a viable option for future travel. Yours sincerely, Freddy N read more

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service Experience I had an unfortunate encounter with Lufthansa's customer service, which significantly marred my overall experience. I want to highlight that this review pertains specifically to their call center and counter customer service, not their in-flight service. Here's the sequence of events that transpired: 1. Failed Online Booking: When attempting to purchase two tickets on their website, the site froze upon clicking "purchase." No success page was displayed. 2. Immediate Contact: In response, I promptly called the airline to clarify the situation. They assured me that no flights had been booked. 3. Successful Booking on Expedia: To secure our travel, we successfully purchased the tickets through Expedia. 4. Unexpected Charge: Shockingly, a week later, an unexplained charge of $3500 appeared on our credit card from the initial unsuccessful Lufthansa booking. 5. Unhelpful Customer Service: Contacting Lufthansa, I was informed that it was too late to cancel the flight. Despite our numerous attempts to resolve the issue, the customer service representatives seemed uninterested in assisting, consistently deflecting responsibility. 6. Disputed Charge: We sought resolution through Amex, but our efforts were futile due to a lack of proof for the original call. 7. Airport Frustration: Upon arrival at the airport, we encountered further frustration. Lufthansa's representatives continued evading responsibility, resulting in wasted time and no resolution. 8. Traveling with Extra Seats: Ultimately, my wife and I were left traveling with four seats, a predicament that was entirely avoidable. In retrospect, it is evident that Lufthansa's customer service approach is deeply flawed. Their apparent lack of concern for the considerable inconvenience and financial burden placed on customers raises serious questions about their commitment to providing satisfactory service. Regrettably, this ordeal has left an indelible mark on our perception of Lufthansa. We unequivocally will not consider flying with them again in the future.
